| Jul 2023 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | When I was driving down the road with no cars or no object in the road at all the emergency brake system came on (slamming brakes on) I had seat belt on and it still threw me forward a good bit until seat belt caught. A car behind me thankfully was able to brake and not hit me. This has not been reported it the dealership. The emergency brake light did come on and flash as the car braked its self. I have had the emergency brake light come on many times over the 3 years I have had it(starting from the beginning of ownership) but this is the first time it actually braked the car. The light come on frequently and never is anything in front of me. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2023 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | While going west bound on I820 toll road. 6/8/2023 @ 5pm. While in adaptive cruise control. Cars 5 to 6 car lengths ahead of us were having to come to a quick stop due to debris on the road. The Honda started to break, then break aggressively, then the “BREAK” notification light started to flash, and I lightly press the brakes. But the tire locked and we begin to skid (unnecessarily). I release the brake pedal. We stop skidding but the car continued to brake to a complete stop with no power to the accelerator. Causing cars behind us to stop aggressively to avoid from hitting us. We sat on the toll road for a good 5 to 8 seconds before power was regained on the accelerator. We never came more then 2 car lengths from the car in front of us. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | I went to a dealer because my brake system lights came on. They said that it was the emergency nrake switch. | May 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I am experiencing a Honda door lock actuator malfunction. There was an awarded class action lawsuit regarding this recall in 2019. The first time I took it to Honda, but they were unable to replicate the intermittent malfunction and could not further assist me. I have shown them recorded videos of the issue, which can’t be used for diagnoses however, photos and videos can be submitted for evidentiary purposes and for health care treatment. At drop off even the staff member who checked my vehicle in had to climb through the drivers seat to unlock the passenger door. I took it again a second time, and they are only able to replace one actuator since it’s not not operable while it’s an issue with all my doors intermittently. I have taken leave from work to ensure repair. I have to pay deductibles each time until all the doors are resolved. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Had rattling noise coming inside the driver door. Took it to local dealership. Said that the adhesive came off the safety support beam of the door. Told me that they can’t do anything about it, and recommended me to go to an auto body shop. Went to three different shops that all had the same answers: We can’t put adhesive on and put it back together since the piece is a safety structure of the car. They refuse to fix it has one of the shops explained, it would make them liable for any injuries involved in an accident for the beam failing to support the safety structure of the door. Another explains that this a safety defect from the manufacturer, and that the whole door must be replaced for safety regulations. So I decided to take the car back to the dealership, explaining it to the dealers. They still refused to do anything about it, saying that they won’t don’t anything about it, and try finding a place that will glue it back together or do it yourself. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Mar 2023 | STEERING | Car drifts to left in any lane while driving on highway. You have to hold the wheel firmer to the right to keep it straight at highway speeds than on local roads. | Mar 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | On 01-31-2023 at 5pm my Accord (2019, 27k miles) experienced a limp mode condition on the Highway forcing me to pull over onto the shoulder and restart the car. I was traveling for 4+ hours in rain / misting rain on the way to North Carolina for a business trip. I went to pass a slow moving vehicle, and the car’s check engine light began to flash 2 seconds after I hit the accelerator. The car’s check engine light began to flash and the car would not exceed 40mph, indicating it had entered a limp mode condition. This forced me to pull over onto the shoulder. After a restart, the car performed as normal with no CEL. I took the car to Advance Auto parts to see if the ECU captured any codes - 3 “pending” codes were stored - P0300 random misfire, P0301 Cylinder 1 misfire, P0304 Cylinder 4 misfire. I took the car to Shockley Honda in Frederick MD on 02/06/2023 and the pending codes had cleared / a diagnosis of possible traction control engagement was given - I am 100% certain this was the check engine light / limp mode, and that this is an incorrect diagnosis. Honda has a TSB for this exact issue: https://www.driveaccord.net/attachments/a21-052-pdf.531063/ Additionally I have dash camera footage to collaborate my account of events, including the event occurring; pulling over on the side of the road; and the trip to advance auto, where you can hear me reading the codes Car entering limp mode on highway: https://youtu.be/1E9RKIH-MnM Drive to advance auto: https://youtu.be/esqrADVXfsA Reading codes: https://youtu.be/5fN10jBiChw Multiple other owners have experienced similar issues in similar weather conditions in their 2.0T Accords https://www.driveaccord.net/threads/check-engine-light-cel-in-the-rain-went-into-limp-mode.502130/page-11 This incident lead to unsafe vehicle operation through a loss of power scenario in adverse weather. Honda customer service and the dealer have so far failed to address the issue in the TSB per my insistence. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
