I saw the issue online when I started to investigate if this was a one off or it happened to others. We are scheduled to visit the dealership. They indicated that they had another incident with video proof that nothing struck the rear window and it just shattered. The dealership also indicated that Nissan refused to fix it. It does seem to be more frequent when first starting car after awhile (a few hours) but not always the case. I have brought in to Nissan but it hasn’t been duplicated in their presence yet. I paid Safelite $508.94 for the repair. I still had to take it to a dealer because there was some glass pieces left in the door and it was causing my locks to lock and unlock continuously. While I was waiting for my Rogue to be fixed I was talking to a man waiting for his vehicle and he told me this is happening to other vehicles where the back window just shatters. I now hear glass shards sliding around in my rear hatch door and yesterday the lock wouldn't open properly for multiple attempts , finally opened.
