| Feb 2026 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | The rear window shattered without being hit by anything. We were parked in a lot and the window just shattered for no apparent reason. Window fragments are dangerous. I saw the issue online when I started to investigate if this was a one off or it happened to others. We are scheduled to visit the dealership. They indicated that they had another incident with video proof that nothing struck the rear window and it just shattered. The dealership also indicated that Nissan refused to fix it. There was no warning. Something needs to be done to cure this situation. Our vehicle is brand new - we have owned it for less than a year. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,LANE DEPARTURE | The front camera and sensors are constantly popping up that they are disabled. The front sensor failed to indicate warning and failed emergency brake. Car should have stopped but I stead it hit the car in front. Sensors, and other electrical services are constantly disabling themselves, or failing to work. What is the point of safety features if they constantly fail. | Crash: Yes Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | VISIBILITY | The contact owns a 2025 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the rear window glass imploded and shattered. The contact was able to pull into the workplace parking lot. There was no injury sustained. The vehicle was later towed to Safelite Auto Glass, where the rear window glass was being replaced. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the repair was not covered under warranty. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000. | Crash: No Fire: No Towed | 6,000 |
| Feb 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I bought my Rogue August 2025, brand new. I am at home and my rear windshield has just busted out for no reason. It is 38 degrees today outside. I have not moved my vehicle at all today. For no reason, just sitting in driveway, it has busted. I looked up and it looks as if other Rogues are doing this. This is very dangerous. What if I had been driving the vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jan 2026 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | My vehicle had been parked in my driveway for approximately one hour. When I entered the car and closed the door, I immediately heard a shattering sound. The vehicle was not running at the time, and there was no impact or external force involved. The rear window shattered suddenly and without warning. I am thankful this did not occur while I was driving, as it presents a serious safety concern that could have caused an accident. There were no prior signs or indications that this would happen. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Back glass shattered while on the highway in stop and go traffic. I have a video showing the damage. I had to pay out of pocket. Nissan said they wouldn't cover. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,BACK OVER PREVENTION | The rear camera goes out/ screen flickers and turns black for a period when in reverse. It doesn’t happen every time but it happens often and at different times of day or different weather/ temperatures. I have not been able to determine associated factors ( humidity, temperature, etc). It does seem to be more frequent when first starting car after awhile (a few hours) but not always the case. I have brought in to Nissan but it hasn’t been duplicated in their presence yet. It happens about every third to fourth time of driving it. So that is frequent in my opinion. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | On January 22, 2026, my husband and i were sitting in the parked vehicle, which was rented from Thrifty Rental, and the rear window spontaneously exploded into a million pieces. We have since learned that there is a Federal lawsuit and hundreds of complaints against Nissan for this exact issue. We consider ourselves lucky that the car was not moving as there could have been bodily injury or an accident. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Took my car in for some minor hood issues the week after buying it. While there the dealership pulled it out of the shop, parked it in the lot with the other vehicles they had worked on. They called me and told me they were going to call me and let me know my 2025 Nissan Rogue was ready to pick but when they went out to move it close to the door the back windshield was shattered. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | The rear window of the vehicle failed and cracked around the edges and then imploded shattered glass into the vehicle with no force or accident, only cold weather. Vehicle was parked and engine not on. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I was driving and hit a small bump in the road and my back glass exploded it was so loud I almost wrecked my car. I called nissan and they told me to bring it in and they would replace it they did it with no questions so it raised a red flag then I googled and found it is happening to alot of owners of nissan rouge 2022-2025. I bought this as a forever car and I feel they will not keep replacing it over and over. I feel I will not get my money out of this car so disappointed | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | On 12/5/25 my rear window just shattered right after the back hatch closed! I had it repaired myself because Matt Black Nissan said it wasn’t covered by my warranty. I paid Safelite $508.94 for the repair. I still had to take it to a dealer because there was some glass pieces left in the door and it was causing my locks to lock and unlock continuously. While I was waiting for my Rogue to be fixed I was talking to a man waiting for his vehicle and he told me this is happening to other vehicles where the back window just shatters. I did go online after this and have seen multiple other complaints about this issue. They need to recall this back hatch and fix the issue. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Attempted to remote start several and car didn't start. Previous remote starts worked every time. Entered car and when I closed door back window blow out. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | While nissan Rogue 2025 was sitting in my driveway with car running and loading my car to leave for work on 11/27/25 , the rear windshield spontaneously crackled and shattered from one corner to the other after closing a side door . Glass was everyplace in my vehicle my driveway and down into the rear hatch frame. Nissan dealership and nissan corporate took no responsibility for the defect , called all multiple times and went to dealership and the repair area. I had to put it through my auto insurance. Glass was on back order took close to two weeks to repair. I now hear glass shards sliding around in my rear hatch door and yesterday the lock wouldn't open properly for multiple attempts , finally opened. I hear people are having issue with the glass shards interfering with the locking mechanism now. Nissan must own up to this defect. Car was only 5 months old. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | While getting in my car after work I shut the drivers door and the rear hatch glass shattered. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Rear window I started the vehicle, and almost immediately the rear window shattered. I had driven the vehicle earlier that day to work, and used the rear window defrost, which I manually turned off after about 5 minutes and the rear windshield was fine. I Parked the car in the parking lot at about 10:15 AM at work, and returned at a little after 7 PM at which time I started the car to leave, and the window shattered. I immediately inspected the window,,the back compartment and the surrounding area at the back of the vehicle to see if something had hit the window, there was nothing there. There was no warning lights, the temperature was in the 70's (I live in Florida) and I saw no type of external element that caused the window to break. My insurance had the rear window replaced, the glass technician said it possibly had something to do with the heating element that could have made the glass implode. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
