Mar 2026 STEERING My steering is making loud clicking noises when turning the vehicle left or right at low speeds. It sounds like loud pops. It is especially prevalent once car has warmed up and driven. It is very prominent when reversing and turning the wheel or moving forward and turning the wheel and also when parked and turned the wheel left or right. I brought this to my dealership’s attention and they confirmed the issue and said it is a faulty clock spring so they replaced it. After they replaced it, the noise is still there. The clock spring was not the cause of the noise. I’m afraid this will become a major safety issue with preventing the ability of the steering wheel to operate safely.

Mar 2026 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM On 3/16/26 I attempted to accelerate and the vehicle experienced severe "bucking" and gear hunting hesitation before losing all drive power and stalling. Following the stall, the engine would not crank or "catch" despite multiple attempts. State Police arrived as I was in an unsafe location (blind on-ramp to highway) they called their tow trucks deeming it hazardous to wait as Honda Roadside Assistance would not arrive for an estimated 60-90 minutes. It was brought to the local dealership. After an hour from incident to inspection at the local Honda dealership, the vehicle powered on normally of which no codes showed and the vehicle started with no issues. The manufacturer and dealer state they cannot replicate the problem and found no historical or pending diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Despite the lack of codes, these symptoms are a direct match for NHSTA Recall Campaign 25V-031 (Honda Recall AL0) which was officially announced to address Torque Control Failures caused by the FI-ECU software. According to Honda’s safety report, improper programming in the fuel injection unit causes the engine to stall during "sudden changes in throttle opening"—which is exactly what I experienced. As of now, my VIN has not been identified on the current recall list. This loss of power during acceleration creates an immediate safety risk of rear-end collisions and leaves the driver stranded in active traffic.

Mar 2026 STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Received Warning message 'Electric Steering Assist Failure' Saturday January 10th 2026 12:00-Noon Driving approximately 5mph, released the accelerator to begin pulling into a parking spot and the power steering failed. The vehicle was very difficult to turn but I was able to avoid hitting anything. Drove around for ~2 hours making multiple stops at multiple stores with no issues until... same day, Saturday January 10th 2026 1:55 Driving approximately 5mph, released the accelerator to begin pulling into a parking spot and the power steering failed. This was a safety risk to my family and to the pedestrians in the parking lot. Saturday January 10th 2026 1:55 I immediately called Wilde Honda Waukesha Wisconsin, which is the dealership that I bought it from (6/25/25 delivery date) They asked me to bring the vehicle in on Monday Monday January 12 2026 1:46pm Justin Green - Service Advisor called and stated that they can see that its an electrical issue but cannot diagnose fully. He stated that they needed to bring in a more advanced technician so I would need to bring it back the next day. Tuesday January 13 2026 1:51pm Justin Green - Service Advisor called to inform that they were unable to replicate the issue and that my keys are at the front desk. 2:45 Spoke with service manager who advised me to continue driving the vehicle and bring it back if it happens again. He suspected that because it was snowing the day of the incidents, that the issue may have been caused by moisture.

Mar 2026 STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Electrical issues began around 15,000 miles. Since then, the vehicle has been in the shop many times for electrical-related concerns and has required towing twice. Most concerning, these failures have left us stranded in dangerous conditions on multiple occasions. These incidents represent serious safety risks to our family and others on the road. We have been diligent about regular maintenance as well. A Honda vehicle of this age and mileage should not experience repeated electrical system breakdowns that compromise vehicle control and driver safety. When the car errors come on the car has lost AWD (while in the mountains in a snow storm) acceleration, the ability to change driving modes, and this most recent event we lost complete access to the driver panel and steering while driving. This electrical issue has been documented over 5 times and we have been told specifically by the dealers weve been towed or brought to "You may have drove it too hard" or "We reset the codes and the car is now driving fine" or "we can't find a problem". Most recently the alternator failed and they will not back to repair because it's past 36,000. We want to see Honda fix these issues before someone is seriously injured. We have photos and video of all of the warnings each time they happened. We also have documentation of each electrical failure, the date, the mileage and what we were told by the dealership in response.

Mar 2026 WHEELS I have owned the car for not even a full year yet. It has 19,000 miles and I have already had to repair 2 bent rims. I have NEVER had this issue with any other vehicle I have driven nor does any other vehicle in my household have this issue. I just find it weird that I've had to spend $1000 in less than a year.

Feb 2026 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,UNKNOWN OR OTHER I was pulling into an open available parking space in a hospital parking garage and the car just all of a sudden accelerated ON ITS OWN and hit the wall of parking spot. I tried to apply the brake several times before I could finally get it to stop and during this time the car was slamming into the wall area and slinging me back and forth a few times before it stopped. My life was put at risk because i got hurt badly I am brusied all over my neck, chest, legs and lots of internal brusing from the hitting of the wall repeatedly. If anyone else would've been in the car they would've been hurt as well but luckily i just dropped a passenger right before the incident. The car speeding up without warning is very dangerous! There were no warnings. I just bought the car 2 weeks before this happened and now I am scared to drive this vehicle! Vehicle has been inspected unknown if anything was found yet. I need to get the black box checked out to find out what caused this to happen.

Jan 2026 EXTERIOR LIGHTING I’ve had to replace the puddle lamp bulbs on my Honda Pilot three times so far, and I purchased it brand new less than a year ago. My local dealer would not cover this under the bumper to bumper warranty either. It would seem that this is a prevalent issue with Honda Pilots and other model Honda/Acura vehicles if this forum post is accurate: [XXX] You would think that after a few years Honda would’ve redesigned/corrected the casting so that water intrusion isn’t an issue, but that has not happened. This is disappointing for a “reliable” car brand. Can anything be done to at least acknowledge this is an issue? Jan 2026 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE This is an update to my previous entry regarding my 2025 Honda Pilot. The car dealership brought the Pilot back to us in February, 2025, stating there was nothing more they could do and told us it was unfixable. From February until current, we continue to experience the same safety concerns: We will be driving it on the highway, going 70 mph, the Pilot brakes hard to half its speed, and all safety features are disabled. Every single time we drive it. We are left with only the gas and brakes. It will randomly come back to full function, sometimes it takes 15 minutes, sometimes it's 45 minutes. This occurs in clear weather where nothing is blocking the radar. We are fearful that it's only a matter of time before we get hit from behind. There is no way to disengage the Adaptive Cruise Control in this vehicle and have standard cruise control. Honda has stated that it is not "unsafe enough" for them to help us. I never imagined I would spend this kind of money on a new vehicle and be fearful of driving it. And that there is no solution to fix it. They took our money and have been completely unethical.

Dec 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Vehicle: 2025 Honda Pilot VIN: 5FNYG1H44SB075283 Mileage: ~6,328 miles Summary of Safety Defect: Serious acceleration failure combined with existing safety recalls (brake pedal pivot pin defect and improperly routed third-row seat belt). Vehicle hesitates, fails to accelerate when needed, and creates dangerous crossing and merging conditions. Detailed Description: I own a 2025 Honda Pilot that is currently subject to multiple safety recalls, including the brake pedal pivot pin recall and the third-row seat belt routing defect. In addition to these known defects, the vehicle has a severe and unpredictable acceleration failure that creates a significant safety hazard. On December 10, 2025, I attempted to turn left onto a main road from a complete stop. When I pressed the accelerator, the vehicle failed to accelerate quickly enough to clear oncoming traffic. The throttle response was delayed, sluggish, and unresponsive for several seconds. An oncoming driver had to brake hard to avoid hitting my vehicle. This was a near-collision and placed me and others in immediate danger. This hesitation and lack of power has occurred multiple times when: Turning left across traffic Merging onto highways Changing lanes at speed Attempting to accelerate from a stop The vehicle does not respond appropriately or consistently when pressing the accelerator. This is especially dangerous in situations requiring timely throttle response to avoid collisions. Combined with the existing factory safety recalls, this creates a serious and ongoing safety risk. A new vehicle should not fail to accelerate when entering or crossing traffic. I have already notified Honda in writing. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate this issue, as I believe this is a defect affecting the safe operation of the vehicle, particularly in situations requiring quick acceleration. This defect is significant enough that I no longer feel safe driving the vehicle.

Dec 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The evap canister keeps tripping the engine light. I've had it repaired multiple times, but the code keeps triggering saying there's a leak in the EVAP canister. With the engine light triggering, it reduces power to the vehicle, and cause it to bog down slightly which is a big safety concern while traveling. I brought it to Ocean Honda of Brockton, MA multiple times and nothing has worked. The code/engine light continues to trigger. No other symptoms occurred prior to the issues. This has been ongoing for about 6 months.

Dec 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE,LANE DEPARTURE After driving my car from the dealer after purchase all the safety features have warning lights on the dash. Break system error ,electric power steering problem ,road departure mitigation problem, collision mitigation problem, lane keep assist problem, adaptive cruise control problem, tsa problem, hill start assist problem, vsa problem, abs problem, electric parking brake problem. Its seems like all of the safety features are not working. i took the car to the dealer and said it was just a battery issue, they went ahead and replace the battery but it was still the same, all the error message came out soon after driving from the dealer service department. After that they said they will replace the speed wheel sensor. I got my car back hopefully that resolved the issues. This cars should not pass QC, this problem happened right after driving the vehicle of the dealer lot after purchase.
