Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE The car stalled completely (‘Bricked’) while driving at approx 30mph. Everything cut off, power, steering, braked and the vehicle came to a stop in the road. I put the car in park and restarted it but the engine light has been on ever since. I took it to Jeep who told me to keep driving it unless it got worse and to call back in two days as they had a garage full of jeeps with the same problem.

Oct 2025 ENGINE Car engine light appeared after a recent uconnect update. Shortly thereafter the car randomly shut down while driving. It results in a flashing light stating to put the car in park and press on the brake to restart. It restarts no problem but randomly shuts down again with the same messaging. It shut down 4 times in less than 3 miles and is a major safety issue. You have no acceleration but can brake. It is extremely dangerous when it occurs as i was pulling into traffic when this occurred. My model is a 2024 and has no open safety recalls as I was informed that the previous unconnect update issue was not a factor for my vehicle.

Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE Jeep over the air update caused my car to shut off completely in the middle of an intersection. I had to come to a complete and violent stop and restart the car. This happened three more times trying to get home - with kids in the car - though thankfully subsequent times were kess precarious because I took side streets and was careful.

Oct 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER Vehicle lost acceleration and power while driving on my way to work. I was able to restart the Jeep and get it off the road. I was able to pull the OBD codes from the Jeep; P1E1D. I then remembered the last time I drove the Jeep, it prompted for a uconnect update (OTA). This morning was the first time driving it since that update.

Oct 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE While driving my 2024 4XE, the engine would automatically turn off and the message would display that I needed to pull over put it in park and restart the car. Engine light then popped on after that so I took it to the local auto shop. nothing was coming up on their computer. Decided it was probably just a bit of a fluke. Decided to leave there and head to the grocery store while driving on a main road with multiple cars around my vehicle did it again thank God I was able to manage safely to get the car into a parking lot. Called up our dealership was able to safely get the vehicle to the dealership same day. Engine shut off at least four times and that small 1 hour window of driving.

Oct 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER On 10/11/25 I was driving and the vehicle cut off. Most lights on the dash lit up and message in the screen by the odometer said stop vehicle and put it in park. I did, waited a few minutes and it started up, but the engine light remained on. Third time I got going and home which was a few miles. Next morning g engine light still on. Followed some advice from a jeep forum and did a soft reset and then shut it off and turned it back on and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. The engine light went off when I restarted and remained off for the balance of Sunday 10/12/25. Not sure of any damage this might have done and am I fixed?

Oct 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM When driving at full speed vehicle shuts off and says to put into park. You cannot accelerate. Warning lights come on saying Antilock system failure, Hybrid system issues along with many other lights. You can be going 70 and it just turns off. We were driving from Sandusky Ohio home to Indiana and this happened. Our safety was put at risk fue to being on highways and out of nowhere our vehicle would lose acceleration and you would have to pull over and restart the car.

Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE 11-Oct-2025 - Made it about 1/2 Mile on eSave mode @ about 5-6pm. Engine shut down and lost all power going approximately 40mph of Dr. Braley Road in Freetown. Controlled vehicle until it stopper at the stop sign at the corner of Roundsville road and put the car in park and restarted the engine. With eSave mode made it about 1/4 of a mile back towards home before it started again and had to repeat the process of stopping putting the car in park and restarting. Used electric mode to get home. 12-Oct-2025 - Attempted again on Sunday and got about 1/4 of a mile before the problem happened again. Service Electronic Stability Control message popped up this time along with e-Save Mode Temporarily Unavailable, followed by Electric Mode Temporarily Unavailable. Limped home again as the car would not go over 15 MPH with it floored.

Oct 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE The Jeep turns off at random times that I have to coast to a stop, put it in park, and then try and restart it again. That’s dangerous going down a highway and the Jeep to completely lose power and shut off or going through an intersection and having the Jeep shut off.
Incident: Oct 2025

Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE The car updated with the latest uConnect on Friday night. The next morning car drove fine for about .5 miles, the drive gear selector on the screen started to flash with no power to the car. The car had stopped accelerating in heavy traffic with no where to pull over on the side of the road. Performed same issues 3 times, after the third time the car went into limp mode. Had to be towed to dealer, it is currently in service on limp mode with no next steps

Oct 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE A serious safety issue that occurred earlier today. While driving with my family on the highway, my 2024 Wrangler 4xe suddenly shut down completely without warning. I was fortunate to pull over safely, but it could have resulted in a serious accident. A complete shutdown with no warning is extremely dangerous and there was no recall.

Oct 2025 STEERING,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE As I was driving I lost all power to the vehicle as well as the steering wheel locked. I was able to pull to the side of the road but the back end of my car was hanging out into traffic. The car flashed a message reading to shift into Park which once I did I was able to turn the car off and back on again but the check engine light as well as a symbol of a tool remained up. Upon further investigation I now understood this was all due to an update on the UConnect screen system that was pushed out a day prior and many others had the same effect of their Jeeps completely turning off mid driving. This was extremely dangerous and terrifying as I had zero control over the car. Keeping lucky I am still alive! I do not feel comfortable continuing to drive this vehicle. Furthermore, the dealership nor the 1800 number for Jeep are willing or able to get my a loaner car nor assist with reimbursements for a rental car. They have no answer as to a repair for this faulty update. I am very disappointed in this entire scenario

Oct 2025 STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL While driving the car just shit off.. put it in park put my hazzards on and started the car back up. Put it to the test again while backing out of the driveway and it shut off while I’m reverse. The stereo has been glitching for about a couple of month where it constantly has to reboot while driving. It has now caused the issues for the whole car to just die while in motion.. this is I huge safety issue especially with younger kids. If I was on the highway when this would have happened who knows how much more fatal this could have been. I do a ton of highway driving and that’s all we have used the car for and for drive around our small town. I fear that even taking it to the dealership to get it fixed I am not sure i am comfortable in its after features it has..

Oct 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Received over OTA UPDATE ON FRIDAY October 10th and Saturday the car was not drivable.. the car would start but shut off and lose power and the message was To shift into park and restart car.. this happened several times till I was able to drive the less than a mile to get home..thankfully this happened very close to my as there was no warning... and because the car just shut off if I was on a highway this would have caused an accident..

Oct 2025 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM My car stalled 16 times on [XXX] due to unknown issues. The first time happened on [XXX] . Then multiple times driving from the first location to my residence in East Quogue and then to the dealer. The car would be in drive and suddenly stall, saying there was an issue with the hybrid motor. It also had multiple engine errors pop up. The car is only 15 months old. The idea that it would stall on a highway is very dangerous. I had to pull over, put the car in park, and sometimes it would power on. Otherwise it would take two to three attempts to start the car to continue driving. It was an extremely hazardous situation. It looks to be a software update error on behalf of Stellantis. This is really scary and unacceptable. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE On [XXX] Jeep sent out a software update to my car. I did not agree to the update but it obviously updated my vehicle. The next day I went to drive the vehicle and after 1/4 mile the car started flashing the check engine light, it said to put in park and the vehicle died including no braking or steering. It happened three more times before I could get it to a safe place to park. Since it was a Saturday and I was in western North Carolina, there were no Jeep technicians available to help me. I hit SOS on my Jeep and connected to Stellantis. They were having to send a tow truck. I finally read a blog where someone figured out how to rest the uconnect system. ( the one Jeep recommended did not work). It worked and the check engine light came off. However, this was extremely dangerous and irresponsible of Jeep. I shockingly was not hit, and got the truck to the side of the road. And I was able to army crawl the truck to the dealership. The vehicle was grinding gears and the 4xe system was completely inoperable. This was extremely dangerous.
