It takes close to 3 hours of driving one way. There was a lot of insects hitting my windshield and when I used the wipers the water just flew over the windshield, not getting my window wet to enable the wipers to clean my windshield. If I am driving 30-50 miles per hour that doesn't happen. I could not get my windshield clean of the bugs which inpaired my vision. I talked with the service department and they said it is the way the wipers are made and they can not do anything about it. I did call Honda Customer Care Line and I have a case #[XXX]. They told me to contact you because it can be a hazard when traveling, which I do often to see my family. Then as you attempt to make a minor correction to drive straight ahead, it seems to over correct. If you are stopped with the engine running and just apply very light pressure on the steering wheel either to the right or left, the steering wheel will skip a notch or two in the direction you are holding the wheel yet the tires do not turn at all. | Sep 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Component: Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) My car has less than 2,000 miles on it. I have experienced the situation described below 3 times now. Traffic on a freeway/highway slowed down quickly, and I stepped on the brake pedal to slow down quickly but still gradually. However, the collision auto-braking system activated and my car suddenly halted to a stop with plenty of room (about 1 and a half cars length) ahead of me. In 2 of those situations, I can see the car behind me quickly react by swerving into the shoulder. Rather than improve safety, this feature created a dangerous situation. In 1 of these situations, I released the brake pedal to move forward slightly (without stepping on the accelerator) and then stepped on the brake down slightly to slow down; the automatic braking system jerked the car to a stop once again. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
