Nov 2024 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE When driving along using the cruise control, the vehicle will suddenly act as it is avoiding a collision. The collision warning will show on the dashboard and the car will suddenly slow down to a stop or near stop until I disengage the cruise control and hit the gas pedal. This has happened multiple times while I was driving along a paved road with no other cars or obstacles visible ahead of me. Fortunately, so far, no vehicle was following me at close range but my car stopping in the middle of the road without warning could easily cause a rear end collision or other severe accident.

Nov 2024 POWER TRAIN I took my vehicle in for its' first service. The code displayed was A 1 6 indicating the new to change the oil and change the transmission fluid. I thought it was strange that I needed to change the transmission fluid so soon. After the dealer inspected my vehicle, they found that the manufacturer improperly routed/attached a hose that caused the transmission to leak fluid. The transmission fluid level was LOW on a brand new vehicle with only 10,000 miles at first service. I am curious if this is a common assembly issue.

Nov 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM There’s a recall for a faulty fuel pump. Potential fuel leak. It’s been out for almost a month and no remedy. Not sure if there’s an urgency by Honda but a fuel leak sounds like this needs to be fixed asap.

Nov 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The fuel injector in my 2024 Honda CR-V malfunctioned, causing severe shaking upon startup, with the "Check Engine" and "Emission System Problem" lights appearing. This incident posed a safety risk, as the engine seemed unstable and power was reduced, potentially affecting vehicle control. The problem has been confirmed by a dealer, who recommended replacing the fuel injector. No other parties (such as insurance or police) have inspected it. These warning indicators first appeared a few days before I took it to the dealer.

Nov 2024 VISIBILITY/WIPER Vehicle purchased new, in October 2023. During October, 2024, the drivers side rear view mirror developed a vertical crack, about an inch from the right edge. There is no damage to the vehicle / mirror housing. There was no impact. There was no significant temperature change. I just walked to my car one morning to see the mirror cracked. I've contacted 2 Honda dealerships & they want > $200 to repair.

Nov 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I pulled into a parking space and I was in the process of stopping and almost completely stopped. The car started moving and sped up. I was on the brakes. It kept going faster. While I was thinking about what to do, I hit a sign with a brick base, but the car didn't stop. I thought of putting it in neutral, like they recommended when the Toyotas did this several years ago. In neutral, the car stopped. By that time, I had gone across a busy street and pulled into the parking lot of a gas station. Luckily, I didn't hit any other cars or the gas pumps.

Oct 2024 STEERING Active recall 24V-744. Call dealer and they state Honda has no parts and no timeline on availability. Same issue existed on another 2024 new Honda before safety recall and had to open NCDS case as they wanted me to wait for parts 4 months on that car. Now same problem and they have no parts to correct - this is inexcusable.
Incident: Oct 2024

Oct 2024 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Car suddenly slows for no reason. No accidents yet. No police reports. Car suddenly slowing for no reason causes driver confusion and can invite rear end collisions from cars behind. Driving 45 mph with cruise control engaged on a two lane road, car suddenly slows to about 20 mph for no reason. It has happened 3 times randomly at about the same spot in one highway and and twice on other highways. Suddenly slowing while passing large vehicles causes driver confusion, invites rear end collisions, and the inability to safely complete the passing of the large vehicle. When driving 65 to 70 mph with cruise control engaged and passing an 18 wheeler, the car randomly suddenly slows to about the speed or the truck when it is about 10 feet from being nose to nose with the truck. Happens every 5th to 10th passing of an 18 wheeler.

Oct 2024 STEERING,STRUCTURE,LANE DEPARTURE 1. my car has steering wheel gearbox recall. I contacted the dealership where I purchased the car in "Phillipsburg Easton Honda" but they vaguely answered me saying that they don't have the part to repair it and will let me know when they have. Without telling me any time frame to repair it. 2. The gate door malfunctions when trying to open it manually from outside using the rubber handle on the gate door. It is randomly happens, not always. 3. Lane departure warning malfunctions and in many occasions I received warning and steering wheel shakes when I drive inside the lane.

Oct 2024 ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM 3 Check engine lights came on when my car was transitioning from electric to gas while I was sitting idle. I towed my brand new car (6500 miles) to the honda dealership and they diagnosed it as faulty fuel injectors, a bad spark plug, and a bad ignition coil. The dealer said this is a widespread issue and they have been servicing this type of issue very frequently.

Oct 2024 STEERING,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I am currently experiencing a safety recall regarding the Sterring Gear box on my 2024 CRV Hybrid and the fuel system recall as well. The dealer is currently refusing to take the vehicle in until they have parts available in DECEMBER. This is clearly to avoid lemon law and I would like to report the dealer for engaging this behavior.

Oct 2024 VISIBILITY/WIPER Both side mirrors shake vigorously while driving at any speed. It is very hard to focus and see the image in the side mirrors. Most of the time I have to use the rear view mirror to see behind me. The shaking is so severe that sometimes if I’m looking at the side mirror trying to see it will make my head hurt.
