Dec 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Long story short, I was driving my car and had noticed that when the engine would turn on from EV mode, it would idle rough and sometimes sound like it was struggling. I had it checked when the recall came in for my steering gearbox and they said nothing was wrong. Cue 600 miles later, every check engine light comes on and my car is loud as it gets. I call and take it to Honda and they tell me that since my car “cleared the code” itself, they can’t find it and I have to wait for it to maybe come back. As of yesterday, I went cause it started doing the same stuff as described above and they ran diagnostics on it. All 4 of my fuel injectors on the car have failed and need to be replaced. My car has less than 11k miles on it and all 4 of my injectors have gone bad? This isn’t just a me issue this is going on all over cause the service manager called another rep and the dude said he has seen it before too.

Dec 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER My brand new vehicle is in the dealership for the 5th time. 1st incidence was well under 6K miles. Upon diagnosis they changed all 4 fuel injectors and again my car broke last night. Lost power in the middle of the highway leaving me stranded on a deadly situation. It has power system charging issue in the dashboard with all the lights lit up. I no longer feel safer in this car.

Dec 2024 STRUCTURE I was in Albemarle, NC on Nov 24-25 and my car was parked outside. My mirror was not cracked when I parked it Sunday night and there was not a vehicle parked next to me. It was 36 degrees outside that morning and there was frost on the car. I drove my car approximately 2 miles and it was cracked. There is no other damage to the car or mirror. I contacted my local Honda dealer to have them fix the issue but they told me this was not a warranty issue and I needed to make a claim on my insurance, which I refuse to do because it was not involved in an accident or incident. I've also filed a complaint with Honda Corp directly. This issue of the side mirror cracking in cold weather appears to be an issue with a lot of 2024 CRV's according to internet searches. The mirror view is now distorted and makes it difficult to view things.

Dec 2024 STEERING,AIR BAGS The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact's daughter attempted to make a left turn while at a stop light; however, the steering wheel failed to operate as needed. Due to the failure, the contact's daughter lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an electrical pole. The air bags did not deploy upon impact. While the contact's daughter suffered emotional distress due to the accident; she did not sustain any physical injuries. A police report was filed. Due to the accident, the vehicle was initially towed to an independent tow lot; the contact then called the dealer who referred the contact to an independent body shop. The vehicle was towed to the body shop where the contact was informed that the steering gearbox worm wheel was defective and was given an estimate for the repair. The contact was later informed that a recall had been placed on the vehicle for NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (Steering). The independent mechanic referred the contact to the dealer for assistance; however, the dealer offered no assistance. The contact was then referred to the manufacturer and was given a case number. The contact had made numerous attempts to reach the manufacturer about the failure but had yet to receive a response. The vehicle remained in the possession of the independent body shop and had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,500.

Dec 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Summary American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2023-2025 multi-model year Honda vehicles. Due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump, cracks can form at the solenoid core component of the fuel pump. As a result, a fuel leak can occur in lower mileage vehicles when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation. Safety Risk If a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased. However, for this safety risk recall, corrective action is not in place and there is not available part. There is no readily available good part to replace defective high pressure fuel pump and need to wait one month for order by dealers. Who is going to be liable and responsible if anything happens until the part is available? Honda is not addressing my concern and are not willing to deal with it

Dec 2024 VISIBILITY/WIPER The 2024 Honda CRV windshield wiper do not fully wipe rain water on the driver side, leaving 3" 1/2 on driver pillar that is untouched by the windshield wiper. This reduces driver visibility during rain. Due to this concerns my wife do not feel safe driving this vehicle in the rain or snow.

Dec 2024 SERVICE BRAKES I leased a 2024 CR-V Sport Hybrid in April 2024. And in early October I backed out of a parking spot. When I applied the brakes there was no response and I back into a parked car. No damage was done to it but I had an estimate of $2000.00 to mine since it was on the hatch back door. I didn't report it because I thought it was my fault. But on Friday Nov. 29, 2024 as I was parallel parking I reversed into the spot and straighten out my vehicle. I put it into gear and started moving forward about six feet slowly. When I went to apply the brakes nothing happened again and I hit my wife’s car in front of me. The CR-V Owners Club has reported a similar incident.
