Feb 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,WHEELS,UNKNOWN OR OTHER On Monday Jan 27 2025 i took my 2024 ford bronco in for routine maintenance and check up. Upon completion of these services my 2024 ford bronco was in terrific condition. Everything came back great they even coded it and it was good. By Wednesday [XXX] at [XXX] there was an issue with the Bronco it wouldn't detect the key fob it said no key detected on the dashboard. So I got my second key Fob and it also wasn't detected so then went to get new batteries for the key fob the car was not drivable at that time switched batteries twice still no detection. Called service at Rivertown ford to get assistance service person came to us because there was nowhere we could find the emergency fail safe that all the bronco of this year has since it's a push start button to start car. He did find the fail safe in the center console under the carpet and able to start car from there. Gary the service person told me it safe to drive back to rivertown service so they can find out what going on. Once in the service it was stated that it is radio transimission control module radio frequency failure. That it was ok to drive till they got part in. Didn't get half way home when a warning light came on that the tire pressure sensor failed so I took Bronco back immediately agian Gary service person told me it was safe to drive till they get the part ordered and in to service the Bronco. I called Ford corporation reported this issue with them Tei is the agent i spoke to from ford Corp. Case number is [XXX]. My concern is i have had plenty of vehicles in my lifetime and these services and mechanics tell you anything at times to justify the means a new car. I need to know it's safe to drive and if there is issues someone gonna pay attention take it seriously and fix it. There was no warning that fob was bad other than the no key detected and then later tire pressure sensor failure did come on. If this car is unsafe to drive or more of internal electric issue is coming address it INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Jan 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,ENGINE The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that after parking and turning off the vehicle, the "Steering Assist Fault, Service Required" message was displayed. The message disappeared after restarting the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure recurred while pressing the Auto Start/Stop button without depressing the brake pedal. The engine revved abnormally loud while the vehicle was parked. The messages "Steering Assist Fault, Service Required", "Pre-Collision Assist Not Available," and "Service Advancetrac" were displayed. The ABS and battery warning lights were illuminated. The engine then inadvertently turned off, and the radio switched on and off. Roadside Assistance arrived on the scene and the contact stated that when the tow truck driver started the vehicle, the messages and warning lights were no longer illuminated or displayed. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer, but the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure for the second time. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 9,929.

Jan 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER Since I purchased my vehicle I noticed that the left blinker would turn on sometimes when I put my right blinker on and made a right turn. Usually when you use your right blinker and make a right hand turn, as soon as your vehicle straightens out the blinker should then go off. Instead, this triggers the left blinker to turn on by itself. I am very concerned for my safety and my children's safety as others my think I am turning and I am not. I actually just got off the phone with the department and also got your email address, and will also email my concerns as well. This has been "attempted" to be fixed by Ford, and has been unsucessful. They currently do not have a "fix" for this safety problem. I purchased the bronco in july 2024 and has 10k miles on it.

Dec 2024 STRUCTURE There are multiple spots on a 2024 4-door Outer Banks Bronco (purchased in 03/2024) that are melted. Most of the plastic components of the exterior body of the Bronco are bubbled, warped, or the paint is peeling away from the plastic. See affected areas listed below (see also photos attached). Areas Affected: -entire rear side of hard top, including 3rd brake light mount -passenger front mirror -driver's side rear wheel well -top of hard top -passenger's side rear door handle This seemingly occurred over a short period of time (1-2 weeks). This vehicle was taken to three different Ford dealership; the third kept the car for evaluation and inspection for over a week and wrote up an estimate for $14k in replacement parts and $2k for labor. They are unwilling to perform replacements/repairs under warranty as they report this is a problem caused by environmental/external factors and is not a defect of the multiple parts that have melted. This has begun to compromise the integrity of the body of the vehicle, and there would be serious concern for the safety of the vehicle operator as well as others on the road if the deterioration continues to progress.

Dec 2024 SERVICE BRAKES When the Vehicle is put into Neutral Tow Mode and Towed behind a vehicle while using a supplemental braking system. The Bronco's Brake system becomes intermittently Active. Causing the slightest pressure to lock up the brakes. The Same issue as reported in. SSM 51415 . The Bronco power brake system is supposed to be de activated once it is put into neutral tow mode. Thus you set the supplemental brake system to respond as a vacuum brake system. So when the brake system on the Bronco becomes active during a stop it will lock up the wheels on the bronco and all four wheels skid. The brakes will stay locked up for what seems to be a long time but, may only be 10 or 15seconds to get them to release. Causing a dangerous traffic situation, huge stress on tires, towing equipment and the towing vehicle, The manufactures service refuses to any more troubleshooting saying the issue does not fall within the SSM 51415. Being this is a new 24 model year. They looked at the firmware and said i have the latest. I had this issue twice the same day. I have used my RVI supplemental brake system on several vehicles for thousands of miles without issue. Only with this bronco and my first 21 bronco have I had these kind of issues.

Dec 2024 EXTERIOR LIGHTING Ford and other manufacturer are in huge rushes to convert to LED headlights. Ford designed the front headlights to be completely vertical, with no headlight housing heater. In freezing fog, snow and sleet the headlights almost immediately get covered and are useless and you can’t see anything. It’s only a matter of time for a major accident Attached are some of the numerous complaints of owners all over the internet.

Nov 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM There is an issue when I try to pump gas the pump repeatedly kicks off. It happens every time I put gas in my vehicle. It causes me to not know when the fuel is full. It’s not an issue with the gas pump because it happens at all different locations. It’s a problem with the vehicle itself.

Nov 2024 POWER TRAIN,STRUCTURE The left front driveshaft is a problem. Had a 2022 Ford Bronco and Ford did a RAV Lemon law. Bought a 2024 and now the same problem is happening again. Same issues and 800 miles on a new Bronco. Also on m 2022 had the hard top replaced 5 times and the axle 2 times. And the top now shows cracks with 800 miles as well. Thought Ford would figure it out. Bronco is a great vehicle, just horrible parts. The main thing is the driveshaft I feel be a HUGE safety ISSUE!!! I hope Ford corporate looks here and gets feedback. By the way, happens after 20 or so minutes of driving, gets warm and it sounds like birds chirping and squeaking.

Oct 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER The soft top headliner is detaching from the main roof structure right above the driver. This secondary liner is now impeding my view of the road and my view out the passenger side window. This "inner" liner has been pushed back into place numerous times but it is continuing to fall un-expectantly when I am operating the vehicle. This is very startling to be struck in the head from this inner liner at any time. The Dealer is stating this is not under warranty to be repaired and I would have to purchase a new top at my expense - Will the next top have the same problem? I am aware from internet searches that a TSB exists for model years '21-'23. [XXX] - our Ford is a 2024. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Apr 2024 POWER TRAIN I was driving down the road and the front end of the car started to shake. The power to the car then went out. The message on the dash said to put it in park and restart so I did. I was able to get it started, and put it in drive and then it shook again and the power went out. The message on my Ford App said that there were two issues with the transmission. One was a transmission shift solenoid not responding and the other message was that the transmission clutch did not apply within the time as expected resulting in delayed or hard shifts into another gear. Each time the gear was shifted after start up the entire truck went dead again.

Mar 2024 STRUCTURE The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact stated while pulling out of the driveway two days after purchasing the vehicle, the contact noticed water leaking on the rear seats through the driver’s and the passenger’s side of the roof. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the water was leaking through the front seals of the roof while the vehicle was parked on an incline with the front of the vehicle facing up. The dealer informed the contact that it was a common failure, and that the vehicle needed to be parked in a different direction to prevent the failure from recurring. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 35.
