Date Component Summary Severity Mileage
Nov 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING,SERVICE BRAKES Tail lights sensors / control are defective in some way. To be clear the tail lights at the rear of the vechile work perfectly fine and are very bright. They light up during lock and unlock. Also if you set headlight to on when parked. Also note brake lights still work in all situations. However. When they are set to auto at times they don’t light at all even at night. Also if in auto every time when you shift into reverse or drive they also go out. Took video of this issue after two dealer visits they said they were unable to replicate. They are suppose to replace the vechile control unit next week. I have my doubts that’s the issue. I’m willing to wager it’s the body control unit that’s the issue which my vechile doesn’t have for some reason because it wasn’t equipped with the tow package.

Nov 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Rear window of 2024 Bronco spontaneously broke with a loud bang while driving 40 mph down 2 lane smooth asphalt road in town, 55 degrees outside. Only 8000 miles on vehicle. Nobody else was on the road, there are no sidewalks. It would be impossible for a rock or other object to hit it from the back while I was driving 40mph. There was nothing being transported inside the back area of the vehicle and no sudden braking or movements in the car. The entire window exploded into the vehicle while all supporting parts dangled. I drove directly to the Ford dealership who confirmed it, took pictures, vacuumed up the window, and filed a claim, but Ford corporate denied a warranty claim. Similar stories can be found on [XXX] , Facebook, Reddit, and [XXX] . It sounded like a gunshot and then the interior of the car was sprayed with glass. I assume other glass fell outward as well. There were no other indications or warnings, and this is a vehicle driven for pleasure. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Oct 2025 STEERING,SUSPENSION The vehicle started showing excessive tire wear with only 3500 miles on it. We took it to the dealership to have this checked and discovered it the front suspension was severely out of alignment they aligned the suspension and 1500 miles later it was out of alignment again and was re aligned. Then 1500 miles later it was aligned yet again because of excessive wear and pulling hard to the left. The vehicle was returned to the dealership it was purchased from and they kept it for 27 straight days and claimed to have done 5 alignments and the 5th one worked. We drove the vehicle 1000 miles and the front tires were showing even worse wear and the front end was discovered to be out of alignment yet again. As of today the vehicle is scheduled to be returned to the dealership for a 5th time with no real remedy or answer on the issue. I uploaded 10 documents but have 11 more available.

Oct 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER The turn signal stalk automatically switches the active turn signal to the opposite turn signal after a turn is completed, with no turn signal sound for the new opposite side signal. This is repeatable and has occurred since the purchase of the new vehicle. Example: Engaging the left turn signal using the stalk initiates the left turn signal. However, once the left turn is completed and the stalk clicks back into its neutral position, the right signal is automatically engaged, and there is no sound accompanying the flashing right turn indicator light on the dashboard. Other owners and drivers of this make and model have complained on social media about this issue, which can create havoc in certain traffic situations.

Sep 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that while driving and coming to a stop, the Engine Auto Start-Stop system failed to engage, and the engine revved significantly, causing the vehicle to move forward unintendedly. The contact stated that the failure persisted while standing on the brake pedal, requiring the contact to shift to neutral(N) or to park(P) to stop the engine. The contact stated that the failure had occurred on two occasions. The contact stated that the vehicle nearly moved into oncoming traffic on the first occasion and the vehicle nearly crashed into the rear of another vehicle on the second occasion. The failure also required the contact to steer the vehicle away from another vehicle or to shut off the engine to avoid a crash. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the failure might be related to a low battery. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.

Jul 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Subject: Unresolved Safety Recall – Ford Bronco To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an outstanding safety recall on my Ford Bronco. I received a recall notification letter from the manufacturer in January of this year concerning a critical safety issue. However, as of today’s date, the issue has not been resolved, nor have I received a clear timeline for repair. When I first purchased the vehicle, I noticed a pronounced bouncing sensation while driving at speeds around 70 mph. I brought this to the attention of the dealership, but they assured me that the vehicle was functioning normally and that there was nothing wrong. However, the existence of this unresolved recall has made me question whether the issue I experienced is truly unrelated—or if it was early evidence of a deeper safety concern. I feel unsafe driving the car, and no receiving any information about when the necessary parts or services will be available. This delay in action leaves my vehicle potentially unsafe and creates significant inconvenience, as I rely on it for daily transportation. I urge the NHTSA to investigate the prolonged delay in remedying this recall. Consumers deserve prompt and transparent resolution when their safety is at risk. Please advise on any further steps I should take to escalate this issue and keep me informed of any actions that may be taken. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Jun 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM While vehicle was on a boat ramp the vehicle”s gear shift was put into the park position. The vehicle’s park gear failed to engage and it continued to roll backwards. Additional attempts to then put the vehicle into drive also failed to respond. My brand new 2024 Ford Bronco that only had just over 2300 miles on it, continued to roll backwards until it was completely submerged underwater. The vehicle had to be pulled out of the water by another truck!!! With my wife and children watching I was fortunate enough to escape without drowning!!!!

Mar 2025 SUSPENSION Dealer sold us a brand new vehicle with an active recall. Recall# 25S01/25V025 which was released January 21st, 2025. We bought the vehicle [XXX]. I spoke with a Ford customer service representative (case# [XXX]) and was told this dealer sold several vehicles with this recall. Feb 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Driving at 65 mph on an interstate highway the infotainment console suddenly shut down and then the entire vehicle lost acceleration and came to quick slow crawl. There was NO braking, accelerating or changing 2wd/4wd modes before this happened. This posed a safety hazard to driver behind me as I did not have time to apply the brake pedal, not sure if the brake lights would have worked anyways in afterthought. There were NO warning lamps, messages or any other symptoms of the problem prior to failure. It just instantly happened. The vehicle was driven with the slow crawl off the interstate to the nearest parking lot. The dealer was notified by phone immediately with no remediation. The vehicle was shut down completely and restarted after a few minutes. The infotainment console slowly turned on. This is the second time this has happened. The vehicle has been to the dealer's service center for both incidents. The dealer stated the 1st time it may be a bad battery but not sure. The 2nd time they did not see any error codes on their reader, and they left it at that. They could not replicate the safety hazard. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance representative. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.
