| Dec 2024 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | The Driver's Side mirror glass vibrates excessively while operating the vehicle at highway speeds. This mirror glass vibration causes distorted images to be seen in the mirror and can disorient the driver while the vehicle is in motion. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | POWER TRAIN,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I got to know that I have two recalls open since October 2024. I called Honda campaign to follow up on the recalls as and I opened a case with them on [XXX]. The case number is [XXX]. I was referred to the dealer and when I contacted the dealer who sold my car, he said that he is repairing cars based on a waitlist and that parts are not available with them for both recalls. This car with its current condition is not safe as it is since I have 3 kids who frequently ride the car and one of then is a one year old baby and I saw similar cars went in serious fire due to those recalls. I need help to have this resolved ASAP. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Traveling interstate at 80 mph 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid with 15,500 miles had a critical power failure, and warning lights to stop vehicle as soon as safe. We had the car towed and went to Honda dealer in (Community Honda) in Lafayette, LA (traveling). They state a fuel injector failed I have seen multiple social media posts of a similar experience, but have not seen a recall listed. I wanted to bring this to your attention. In Louisiana, there are a lot of bridges to navigate and this could have been a very dangerous situation of it would have happened on a bridge. Luckily, it happened on the interstate. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | STEERING | The steering wheel of my vehicle becomes tight while driving and sticks when turned, especially at higher speeds. At slower speeds, a slight turn to the left or right will result in increased resistance and a “bump” as the steering comes back to center. At higher speeds, the steering wheel is tight and almost feels stuck at center. Once the wheel is turned is will briefly stick in that position and has to forcefully be returned to center. This sometimes results in almost overcorrecting while driving. The steering is loose when the car is in park or at a stop, but once in motion there is a distinct difference, to the point of causing a sore neck/shoulders from holding the wheel. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Honda CRV 2023 Sport Touring Hybrid AWD. Vehicle under normal circumstances will be peformaming normally until defective PCM causes car go into limp mode. Vehicle is considered is dangerous due to sudden lost of power if going at high speeds & low speeds. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Dec 2024 | STEERING | The contact's wife owns a 2023 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (Steering); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | As my car was warming up, I was standing near the driver door and hear a *tink* noise. When I got into the car, I saw that my driver side mirror had a single vertical crack straight down the middle. There was no point of impact and when I first approached my car not even 5 minutes prior, the mirror was perfectly intact. For all intents and purposes, the mirror has spontaneously cracked. The dealership I took it to has refused to replace the mirror under warranty although my car is less than two years old and only has 10000 miles. The crack distorts visibility considerably. This is a known issue with 23-24 CRVs with a lengthy thread on Reddit detailing similar experiences. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE | The contact owns a 2023 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked in the garage, there was an abnormally strong fuel odor on the exterior of the vehicle. The contact stated that the fumes were extremely strong. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 21,000 |

| Dec 2024 | STEERING | While driving the vehicle on the highway, the steering wheel feels like it gets stuck. It seems to happen after driving for a while, and every time I have to steer just a little bit, I have to move the steering wheel slightly to get it to unstuck. There are no warning lights showing. I just received a recall notice in the mail, called my Honda dealer, and they don’t have the parts right now. This definitely affects the way the car handles. I did not notice this when I drove it in the summer, but I sure notice it now. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2024 | STEERING,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Manufacturer refuses to fix open recalls via its dealer network. I have been calling my local Honda dealer, Wolfchase Honda in Bartlett, TN (ZIP: 38133) for almost two months asking them to fix my vehicle. They tell me they do not have the parts for either the steering gearbox recall (NHTSA recall number: 24V-744) or the fuel pump recall (NHTSA recall number: 24V-763) and to call back. When I call back they tell me then tell me they have given all the parts to other customers, despite having promised me a call back and my having called repeatedly to schedule service over the past two months. I recently spoke with American Honda and they confirmed that limited part availability is NOT mentioned in their recall bulletins, i.e., that part availability should not be an issue. The potentially faulty steering and propulsion system endanger myself and my two year old son every day as I take him to day care and the systems are at risk of failing and causing a crash. American Honda appears interested in resolving the recall, but Wolfchase Honda, their local dealer in Bartlett, TN, refuses to provide required recall service. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Dec 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES | Drove car for about 10 minutes, parked car while the engine was still running (approx 5 minutes) then began driving on 25 mph roadway with light traffic (4 lane road). After driving for a couple of minutes, I could no longer accelerate to maintain the speed, all the warning lights came on the instrument panel (see attached pictures for some of the alert messages), and a message came on the dash that said something along the lines that get off the roadway immediately but safely. Upon finding a parking lot about 0.5 mile away, it was very difficult to slow down as brake pedal felt hard- I had to slam on the brakes for it to begin coasting to a stop. Once parked, I turned off the car. When turning on the car again, all the warning lights came on and warning messages started to cycle through on the dash. My safety and the safety of others were greatly affected as I could not stop the vehicle adequately. When towed to the Honda dealership, the dealership was unable to reproduce the symptoms. The Honda Dealership said they would not diagnose the vehicle since it was modified by a QAP mobility equipment dealer. When towed to the mobility dealer, who installed adaptive equipment, they too were unable to reproduce the symptoms. The vehicle was inspected but no issues found with adaptive equipment. See attached invoices and photos of the warning lights. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Nov 2024 | STEERING | I read about a recall for my vehicle's fuel pump and called Coggin Honda in St Augustine, Florida on Nov 1, 2024. They did not have the parts in to remedy the situation. Today (Nov 22, 2024) I received a notice from Honda (Corporate in Torrence, CA), that another recall has occurred. Once again, I called Honda near me, and once again, these parts are not in. I need to complain that these recalls are considered dangerous and Coggin Honda is not helping remedy the situations in a time manner. I want to go on record to record the dates I contacted Honda for these very important recalls. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Nov 2024 | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,WHEELS,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | At 9K miles excessive noise, sounds like a helicopter. Dealership confirmed all four tires were scalped, did an alignment and thought it might correct the problem. It has not, both the dealer and Corporate Honda refused to correct. Adaptive Cruise Control malfunction, major safety hazard. When engaged the car unexpectedly stops at all speeds on highway or rural roads, with no cars in sight in front of the vehicle. Have experienced multiple incidents or near rear end collisions because of abrupt braking. When brought to dealer they claimed they couldn't find any error codes, thought that maybe dirt was on the two radar sensing units... not the case, still continues to be an issue. Car turns off unexpectedly... on an on ramp to a highway, traffic was stopped. When traffic started moving the car turned off completely... warning light stated see dealer. Put the car in park and restarted vehicle, brought to dealer who claimed no error codes. All the above happened at the 9K miles, none of the major safety hazard issues were confirmed by the dealer or Corporate Honda. Am at a loss as to next steps. Please advise, thanks. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Nov 2024 | STEERING | In December 2023 I had a hit and run to my vehicle. I tried to get to the other lane for that car not to hit mine but my steering wheel froze. I’ve been taking a look at my car to see if it had any recalls and I’ve even did a vin check to my vehicle to verify what was going on with my car and nothing was apparently wrong with my car it also passed the state inspection a few weeks ago I just didn’t know what was wrong. I just saw the news right now of the sticky gear recall. Due to this I’ve been suffering a lot of hardships my back hurts a lot and I have to work less because of the pain. | Crash: Yes Fire: No Injuries: 1 | Unknown |
| Nov 2024 | STEERING | We purchased the vehicle as demo from Honda dealer 2023. At about 9000 miles, noticed that while in a gradual curve on an interstate, there was a noticeable ‘stick and bump’ when making a minor steering correction. I likened it to pushing a straw through a lid – extra force needed then a sudden release. The force needed to overcome the stick was minor – only an ounce or so – but noticeable and disconcerting. I do not experience the issues at slower speeds nor in park and turning the steering wheel. I went to a local Honda dealer (not the dealer from whom we purchased the car) with a copy of t TSB 23-037 in hand. When I explained the issue to a Service Advisor, they had me drive with a tech in car. He said they had a stop sell order on many cars on their lot and parts were on backorder. I mentioned the sticky steering and he told me it just needs grease. Left car after drive and received text that car was ready. Asked if they were replacing gearbox and texted to me "Not replaced, there is an open recall on the vehicle having to do with insufficient grease in the steering gearbox from the factory. He performed the recall using a special tool to insert more grease" The recall does state there is a spring that should be replaced also. They did not mention that and Im concerned the tech told me the solution while in the car with me before diagnosing the issue I was having. My concern is the wheel 'breaking' left of right in and out of a turn at high speeds with winter approaching. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | (1) Recall Summary American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling specific 2023-2025 CR-V vehicles due to a defect in the steering gearbox worm wheel. This improperly produced component may swell during use, which compromises the grease film thickness between the worm wheel and worm gear. Furthermore, the worm gear's spring preload was set too high, escalating the sliding force between these parts. Consequently, the combination of reduced grease film and increased friction leads to greater resistance during steering. Safety Risk The heightened friction between the worm gear and worm wheel results in increased steering effort and difficulty, significantly elevating the risk of a crash or injury. (2) Recall Summary American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is urgently recalling certain 2023-2025 multi-model year Honda vehicles due to critical defects in the high-pressure fuel pump. The improper production has led to the formation of cracks at the solenoid core component, which can result in a dangerous fuel leak during operation, especially in lower mileage vehicles. Safety Risk The presence of a fuel leak poses an extreme risk, as it can ignite in the presence of an ignition source. This scenario significantly heightens the risk of fire, crash, or serious injury, demanding immediate attention and action. I contacted the American Findlay Honda Management Department in Henderson, Nevada, only to be hit with a stark refusal; they will not place me in a new 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring. As a long-time customer, I felt utterly bewildered and crushed by this response. Just weeks ago, they aggressively pushed this specific vehicle to me, fully aware that significant recalls were on the horizon. This is not just terrible news—it’s a blatant betrayal by management! I am seriously contemplating legal action against American Honda and Findlay Honda in Henderson, Nevada. Their actions scream deceit and predation; they are nothing less than crooks and sharks | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | On several occasions the automatic emergency braking system on my vehicle has engaged for no reason. The vehicle applies the brake quickly with nothing in front or to the side of the vehicle. This sudden braking has almost caused me to be rear ended and has also caused a slight case of whiplash. I’ve contacted my Honda dealer and while they say they’ve had complaints I am told there’s nothing in the works to remedy the issue. I was told to clean my vehicle front sensors (which were not dirty at the time of these instances) and that’s all I could do. This has happened multiple times throughout my ownership of this vehicle with the last incident occurring in late September of this year. | Crash: No Fire: No Injuries: 1 | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | STEERING | March 2024 - Brought vehicle to local Honda dealership, car is diagnosed with a power steering column issue that is affecting tons of Honda models 2022-2024 across the U.S. This issue was not a recall at the time. Estimated 6 months for the part to come in, I open a case with Honda corporate. Since, dealer has refused to do the work on my car, despite it being under warranty. Dealer refuses to communicate with me. This issue has now been made a recall and Honda has confirmed my VIN is affected (worm wheel). New Honda dealership is not taking appointments to provide recall services, they will "call us when parts come in" and are not taking any information about the customer, so how can they call? Said it could be months before the part comes in. I have not been provided a loaner or any productive assistance. This is a 2023 CRV with less than 30k miles and I cannot drive it safely. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
