| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN | I received an "important safety recall" notice 25S82 from Ford motor company in August, 2025. The notice from Ford states that replacement parts are available and to schedule an appointment with a local Ford dealership to replace necessary parts and address the safety recall concerns. Since August of 2025, I have contacted my dealership several times and they continue to indicate that parts are still not available from Ford to address the safety recall / concerns. I called the number on Ford's recall notice again today and they either don't answer or immediately hang up on customers like me when the call does go through to speak to an agent. Nine (9) months have passed now and neither Ford nor their dealership network has done anything to address the manufacture defects / safety concerns associated with my vehicle. My dealership has indicated there is a nation-wide back order on the replacement parts but that conflicts with Ford's written communication to consumers and it's no excuse for inaction that could put public safety further at risk. Please take necessary actions to increase Ford's focus on and resolution to this persistent risk. Thank you. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL | While driving my 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor, the vehicle suddenly lost throttle response. The accelerator pedal produced no response and the engine would not rev even though the vehicle remained powered on. A battery warning light briefly illuminated at the time of the incident. I was able to bring the vehicle to a stop, but during the event the steering wheel became locked or extremely stiff and the vehicle did not respond normally to inputs. After stopping, I placed the truck in park and was unable to shift the transmission back out of park. The vehicle appeared to remain powered on but multiple systems were not responding. After pressing the start/stop button and cycling the vehicle, the issue cleared and the truck began operating normally again. Prior to this incident, the vehicle had already been scheduled to go to the dealership because it had been displaying numerous warning lights and diagnostic codes across multiple systems, totaling approximately 30 alerts. The vehicle was taken to a Ford dealership for diagnosis. The dealership reported codes indicating a network communication issue between vehicle modules but stated they were unable to reproduce the failure and no repair was performed. The dealership has requested that I take possession of the vehicle despite the unresolved cause of this failure. Given the loss of throttle response and steering function while the vehicle was in motion, I currently feel the vehicle is unsafe to operate until the underlying issue is identified and corrected. A sudden loss of throttle response and steering control while the vehicle is in motion creates a significant risk of collision, particularly in traffic or at highway speeds. The fact that the failure temporarily cleared after cycling the vehicle suggests a potential intermittent electronic or communication failure affecting critical vehicle control systems. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN | Recall Number 25V512 was issued August 11, 2025. It is now seven months later and my local dealer is still unable to obtain the parts for this recall. My dealer is Newberg Ford in Newberg, OR 97132 | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN | The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving from a complete stop on several occasions, the vehicle was sluggish while depressing the accelerator pedal. The failure mostly occurred while driving between 10 and 20 MPH, and the vehicle jerked while driving 20 MPH. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact received a message for "Power Train Malfunction - Reduction" from the Mobile App. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. Upon investigating online, the contact associated the failure with TSB Number: 22-2428. The dealer advised the contact that the manufacturer would be notified of the failure. The contact was awaiting a call back from the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 40,000 |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING | The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH and hauling a trailer, the rear brake lights failed to illuminate. There were several messages displayed related to the trailer connection and brake lights. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the trailer was difficult to control, and the display screen inside the vehicle was flashing off and on. The vehicle was driven back to a storage facility. While reversing and attempting to park the trailer, the message that the trailer was disconnected from the vehicle was displayed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer was contacted and informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V104000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 30,000 |
| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN | The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V512000 (Power Train); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that while stopped at a red light, there was an abnormal popping sound coming from the vehicle while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was forced to place the vehicle into 4WD which allowed the contact to drive the vehicle; however, there was an abnormal grinding and popping sound coming from the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and provided a case number. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 74,653. | Crash: No Fire: No | 74,653 |
| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN,WHEELS | Rear axle component failed on my 2023 Ford F-150 Lariat. Vehicle completely lost mobility and would not move. We were stranded on a dangerous freeway exit. A recall repair for issue was performed. A second failure of the axle was later discovered during tire service. This is a repeat failure of a major drivetrain component and raises significant safety concerns. Additionally, the first failure was very traumatic. We had just left the funeral home preparing for my 15 year old daughters funeral. The freeway exit it left us stranded at was unsafe to remain in the vehicle. In order to be safe, we had to go stand in a cemetery. Having this component fail just after a year of being fixed is a serious ongoing safety concern. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | The moonroof on our F-150 exploded going down the interstate. Nothing was hit and it sounded like a gunshot. The headliner remains intact with no damage and glass blew out at an upward angle. We submitted to Ford for a warranty claim but they denied it. Based on my research this is a known problem from Ford and they are not addressing it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | POWER TRAIN | Ford F-150 Rear Axle and Hub Replacement: It has been 130 days since I received Safety Recall Notice 25S82 / NHTSA Recall 25V512 from Ford stating parts were available and to contact my local dealer for repairs. I did so and they told me they do not have the parts I have followed up with them three times and I am still waiting for parts. Should these part fail on the highway it could leave me stranded or worst case scenario I could lose control and crash. I need NHTSA to put pressure on for to get this done! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | SUSPENSION,POWER TRAIN,WHEELS | The vibration occurs consistently above approximately 40 mph and becomes more pronounced at highway speeds. It is felt in: • Gas pedal • Underbody near shifter • Steering wheel • Seat Despite numerous repair attempts and replacement of major drivetrain components, the vibration has not been permanently resolved. Truck keeps throwing road force on brand new tires as well. Repairs and attempts have included: • Tire pressure corrections • Multiple tire balances and road force balancing • Replacement of all four tires • Subsequent rebalancing of the replacement tires after road force values continued to fluctuate • Additional tire replacement when road force variation repeatedly returned despite proper balancing • Replacement of both front hubs • Replacement of both front axles • Replacement of front steering knuckles • Replacement of front differential ring and pinion bearing kit • Replacement of right front axle • Replacement of transfer case • Replacement of front driveshaft • Diagnostic tire swapping from another vehicle for comparison At one point, test tires from another truck were installed to isolate the concern, which resulted in the vibration spreading further into the steering wheel and seat. The issue affects drivability and confidence in the vehicle at highway speeds. Current visit beginning January 7, 2026: Vehicle has remained at the dealership continuously with no return to me and no confirmed repair completion (now exceeding 40 consecutive days). The cumulative days out of service significantly exceed 30 days. Despite substantial drivetrain component replacement, the vibration concern persists. The persistent vibration affects normal use, drivability, and confidence in the vehicle at highway speeds. Persistent drivetrain vibration at highway speeds raises safety concerns. Repeated axle, differential, transfer case, and driveshaft replacements indicate unresolved mechanical instability. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | POWER TRAIN | The contact stated that he was a valet parking attendant. The contact stated that while parking a 2023 Ford F-150, the column shift was able to shift without pulling the handle back or depressing the brake pedal. The contact also stated that while driving at 2 MPH, the gear shifter was able to shift into reverse before stopping. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact also stated that the failure occurred when he drove a 2025 Ford F-150. The dealer was not contacted, and there was no inquiry about whether the vehicle was operating normally. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The failure mileage was unavailable. The VIN was unavailable. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I’ve been advised by McGovern Ford in Massachusetts that I need ABS Module and an Electronic Brake Booster and it isn’t covered by any warranty. Yet it’s a safety hazard and the truck is only 2 1/2 years old. Why would those 2 items need to be replaced on a newer truck. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, several unknown warning lights intermittently illuminated. The contact stated that since the purchase of the vehicle, the warning lights had been illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, no cause for the failure was found. The contact stated that the failure persisted. On a separate occasion while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked and failed to accelerate as intended while depressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle failed to accelerate or exceed 30 MPH. In addition, an abnormal rattling sound was coming from the bottom of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The vehicle was not inspected or diagnosed; however, the contact was informed that the failure might be associated with the front differential. The vehicle remained at the dealer unrepaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 1,000 |
| Feb 2026 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | While accelerating from a stop light, my 2023 F-150 Powerboost failed to properly accelerate and my gas pedal stopped working around 20-25 mph. I reported this to the Ford dealership immediately and drove straight to service bay. The failure repeated 3-4 more time before arriving. There was no engine light or error code so the dealership couldn't "fix anything". 16 hours later, the truck engine struggled to stay running, my gas pedal wouldn't engage again, I couldn't accelerate, and I had it towed to the dealership. I'm being told the Fuel Pump Driver Module failed and that it's not covered under the powertrain warranty - my concern is that this failed module creates a significant safety risk which leaves the vehicle inoperable while driving but Ford is treating it as a minor failure and not covering under warranty. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The contact stated that two months later, the parts were still not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 43,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 43,000 |

| Feb 2026 | STRUCTURE | The sunroof of my vehicle burst while I was driving on the highway. There was no warning and the vehicle was not hit by anything. The glass shattered and came into the truck cabin. Air starting getting in the vehicle as well. It was a dangerous situation as I was driving and glass was coming in. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. The dealership is refusing to repair the vehicle and they can’t confirm why the sunroof broke. The glass is caved outward. I have filed a claim with my insurance company to have the vehicle repaired. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | On 3 separate occasions, while traveling at highway speeds on the NJ Garden State Parkway in the left lane, my truck’s service engine light soon wrench would come on out of nowhere, the throttle would cut out, and the gas pedal would go limp and unresponsive. The only way to get it operational again was to turn the truck off, let it sit for 10-15 min to drain the computers, and restart. Imagine doing 70-75 mph in the left most lane and you lose all throttle and have to get your vehicle all the way to the right shoulder without the ability to speed up to avoid being hit in the process. Now imagine that same thing happening 3 times within a month. The dealership found failed factory power train wiring and a failed gateway module. This truck’s a 2023 with 50k highway miles. Shouldn’t be failing like this. Now it’s been at the dealership for 3 weeks….. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2026 | WHEELS | Took my truck into a Ford dealership for an oil change and they gave me a part that broke off the left rear hub. Talked to service dept they said safe to drive unless I hear knocking from the back of vehicle. Also the part to fix it is unavailable. My concern is they said it's ok to drive but the wheel could come off of the axle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I have an open recall that has not been fixed. I’ve been reaching out to my nearest ford dealership and all I get back is the part is”ordered” or still on “back order”. I’ve been waiting since December for this to be resolved and still nothing. I bought the truck in November and immediately had it looked at. Now anything after market wheels/tires/supsension or lifts no shop wants to be liable or comfortable working on my truck until the recall is complete. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
