| Nov 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? Excessively Loud Popping Noise B&O Unleashed. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? It is so loud that when it happened I slammed on my brakes thinking something exploded. Luckily I was in a gravel driveway on my way out when it happened. It seems to be a problem with AppleCarPlay. It happened when I tried playing an audiobook via wireless carplay and it happened again today with wired carplay and playing some music. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? I have not had a dealer look at it yet to others to look at. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? The sound is so deafening that my head is ringing and pounding with just a minute the sound going off. I have not had anyone look at it. I want it to stop as quickly as possible. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? There were no warning lamps or messages. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Turned on radio, very loud pop over the speakers followed by static. From being on Ford forums I quickly changed audio sources to make it stop. | Oct 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Extremely ear piercing loud noise like an explosion coming from radio when vehicle was started. Glad I was not driving as it startled me. This could of caused a major safety issue. From an operational standpoint no volume from the radio until I started the vehicle the next morning. I researched the event and found other owners affected by the same or similar issue. This is why I'm on this site reporting my same experience. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Extremely loud short static noise when trying to play audio through B&O Unleashed sound system that was factory equipped with my F150. After static I lost all audio. I changed input and the extremely loud short static noise happened again, this time with continuous clicking at full volume after the static stopped. Volume controls were completely unresponsive, I also could not turn audio off. The full volume continued until the vehicle was turned off and parked for over 10 minutes. After that everything worked as it should. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Sep 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING | There are two things that have been happening, and are widely prevalent on different online forums as well. 1) While the vehicle is on the stereo will end up going into a loud max volume crackling and popping and won't shut off even when the truck is turned off. This has already caused an accident. | Sep 2022 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | Twice I have been driving my 2022 Ford F150 and I have tried to turn the wipers on when it started raining, and the wipers did not move. 1) This initial time this happened was early Spring 2022. I was driving in the freeway, and it started to rain. I was using the wipers on intermittent, and everything was fine. At some point I turned the wipers off because it stopped raining. When it started to rain again, I turned the wipers on, and nothing happened. I turned them on and off for the next hour or so, with no wiper action. Finally, after about 90 minutes I turned them on again and the wipers worked. 2) The second incident was on 9/17/2022. I was driving in the mountains when it started to rain. The wipers were working fine. The rain stopped, and I turned the wipers off. Then a downpour started. I tried to turn the on, and nothing happened. I turned the wipers on and off several time. Still no wiper action. This became a dangerous situation on a curvy mountain road. I should have stopped driving due to the lack of wiper action and the fact it was dusk and I was about out of daylight. I chose to drive on, but that was a reckless decision at best. About an hour later the wipers started to work again. I've taken the truck into Crater Lake Ford for the wipers. In the end, I gather they tested them, found they were working fine, and did nothing to fix the problem. I'm very concerned that I will get caught out in a rainstorm again and the same problem will happen again. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | SERVICE BRAKES | The truck show a warning when on reverse, the rear brake assiste does not work since I bought the truck and dealer has no fix to it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | EXCESSIVE LOUD STATIC NOISE / CRACKING FROM MY 2022 F150 PLATINUM B & O UNLEASHED RADIO. LASTED FOR ABOUT 3 TO 5 MINUTES WHILE ON SATELLITE RADIO. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | B&O Unleashed Stereo system will produce deafening sound, volume maxed out. The sound is a screeching pulsing sound. It makes your ears ring it is so loud. When you turn the vehicle off it still makes the sound. Turning any of the radio dials does not lower the volume or get it to shut off. You have to get out of your vehicle and wait for the stereo to shut off, can be up to 10 minutes for that to happen. There is no way to drive with it make that noise. You have to pull over and wait for it to stop. This has happened twice in my 6 months of ownership, dealer say the typical, "Can't reproduce it". | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Car was in the driveway and refused to start. Back light flashed and the battery died. I stated to the dealership that the adaptive cruise was not working. The dealership stated that it was working and that they test drove it and it was working. I brought it in a second time and stated the adaptive cruise was not working. Again the dealership stated that it was working. Third time I complained and they admitted that the factory had not installed adaptive cruise and that the vehicle did not have the sensors for the Pre-collision Assist w/AEB. They would wait for the parts and install the necessary hardware. Prior to delivery my vehicle had a Factory Hold on it . Ford did not warn me that safety features I had paid for were not installed. Ford had their dealer deny that my vehicle was missing these safety features. These missing safety features and Ford"s denial put myself and others at risk. These safety features was why I bought a new truck in the first place. Ford and its dealers did not act in a responsible or ethical manner with complete disregard for safety. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EQUIPMENT | After starting the vehicle, I heard a loud pop and then loud static that couldn't be turned off. The sound is very deafening and hazardous to babies with developing ears. Has happened twice already in the past week. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2022 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | This brand new 2022 truck is less than a month old. Windshield wipers were turned on at normal speed (not intermittent) and the wipers froze at the vertical position. Adjusting the wipers control knob did nothing, and about 15 seconds later the wipers resumed proper function. Five minutes later, they froze again at the same position. This was very dangerous to lose visibility in a heavy rain. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2022 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | I had just purchased my truck not even 30 days and the wipers went out. It was a very rainy day and the wipers just stopped. I had to pull over and get a tow truck to take me to the dealer. I was unable to see and almost hit a car parked on the side of the road because I could not see. I have talked to Ford and the dealer and they both tell me that this is an ongoing issue with no resolution. They have over 600 customers for the 2022 model year with the same issue on non working wipers . They told me it could be 2 to 8 months before they start producing wiper motors for repair. They suggest rainx until the issue is resolved??? My truck is currently parked in the dealer lot. This truck was not appart of the recall like my other truck was. Shouldnt this be part of the recall also and maybe a stop sale until they fix this? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Despite the failure, the vehicle resumed normal operation and the contact was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer for an inspection. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure.
