Jul 2022 VISIBILITY/WIPER I was driving on the interstate at 60mph when we were caught in a downpour. We were pulling a 7000lb trailer and the windshield wipers completely stopped working. Visibility was virtually zero. I was in the right lane and was able to navigate to the shoulder. I could tell I was on the shoulder due to the rumble strips. Once on the shoulder I was able to get the wipers to reset and become functional again. Every time I get caught in rain I get to the right lane in case of a failure. The vehicle is available for inspection. Our safety was put at risk. The problem has not been reproduced but an appointment is scheduled with the dealership. The vehicle has not been inspected (not sure where to take it). There were no warnings prior to the failure.

Jun 2022 STRUCTURE The tailgate opens without warning and no warning is given when it opens. The tailgate opens without warning while driving, parked and not running. This has opened on me several time causing numerous safety issues to include contents of my bed falling out on the roadway while driving. The tailgate has opened as my young daughter was walking by and it nearly striking her in the head. As I left the store today when I returned to my vehicle the tailgate was down and had opened while I was not in or near the vehicle. I contacted the dealership where the vehicle was purchased and was told that there is no recall or fix for the issue at this time. I was told they are aware of the issue but could not fix it. There are no lights, sounds or warnings to when the tailgate will open.

Jun 2022 BACK OVER PREVENTION APIM (SYNC4) went out and does not work. The APIM controls most functions in the truck. I do not have a working display screen, cannot charge phone, cannot use any of the features I paid to use, no back up camera, and no radio. The trucks user/owners manual is also apart of the APIM (SYNC4) system. Nothing connected with the APIM works. I have waited over 1 month for replacement APIM and Ford has still not sent a replacement. I believe this is happening with new Ford Broncos using the same APIM (SYNC4). There are tons of Ford owner forums complaining about this same issue. I believe Ford and Ford Service is hiding this problem. My Ford Service records shows "Services Performed" as "Unknown."

Jun 2022 VISIBILITY/WIPER Pushed washer fluid button in. Washer fluid came out but wipers did not engage like required. Tried turning wipers on in all positions got nothing. When left in on position wipers move in half inch increments but no more than 3” from home position. Took to local repair center but they cannot get new one. I’m aware of 2021 F150 doing same thing which there is a recall. Not sure what to do. Still driving car without proper safety equipment l

Apr 2022 VISIBILITY/WIPER 3 weeks after purchasing my truck, I tried to turn on the windshield wipers and they did not work. Later that day I tried again and they worked. Fast forward 3 more weeks and now they do not work at all for. Sometimes I can spray windshield wiper fluid but it will not wipe. Other times spraying doesn’t work neither does the wipers. Been 2 days now. Appointment next week.

Feb 2022 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE Truck check engine light came on and started to blink. The truck would shake when trying to accelerate. Pulled over, turned truck off and the light went off. When started back up it was gone. A few days later the truck did the same thing, but the light did not go off. It remained on, when accelerating the truck began to shake. When I took to the dealer, they mentioned they this truck had a check engine light on when they received, they replaced the ignition coils (under warranty) before purchasing. It’s believed the coils may have gone again. The truck is currently at the dealers getting repaired. For a brand new truck, the coils have already needed to be replaced by dealer.
