| Mar 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES | A wire box fell down from behind the dash, and landed behind the brake pedal. This created a severe emergency situation in that the brake pedal could not be depressed at a traffic light, almost causing a car accident. The dealership explained that they have seen this problem before, but it's not a current recall, but should be. I've also been in contact with GM Customer Care [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | POWER TRAIN,VISIBILITY/WIPER,BACK OVER PREVENTION | Since new, this vehicle has had two unresolved safety issues. One of which being the failure of a FMVSS 111 required system - rear vision camera. The two defects are: 1. Service 4WD warning message and inability to use 4WD in inclement weather. This has caused safety concerns for my wife and I when traveling in the winter. 2. Failure of the FMVSS 111 required rear view camera system when in reverse. The display screen goes blank with an error message intermittently when in reverse. Not being able to see behind the vehicle while in reverse has raised safety concerns by both my wife and I in numerous parking situations. The Dealer (Al Serra Chevrolet Grand Blanc MI) has attempted warranty repairs on both issues on 4 service visits: Delivery Date 9/27/2022 1st repair 1/12/2023 2nd repair 11/27/2023 3rd repair 12/19/2023 4th repair 2/27/2023 GM Customer Assistance Case 9-12089878168 2/27/2024 Certified Letter to GM notifying of intent to file for Lemon Law Relief, Final Repair attempt. All 4 repair attempts included the 4WD system failure as well as the Rear View Camera system failure. Many components have been replaced. along with many reprograming attempts of both systems. Both problems return after the Dealer attempts a repair, and have not been successfully repaired to date. The problems first appeared on 1/12/2023. Due to the Camera issue being of such a serious safety hazard, we will not drive the vehicle again until repairs are assured. We cannot risk backing into a pedestrian. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The sound will increase to max volume and I am unable to lower the sound, this has happened numerous times while driving and has also happened while on major freeways. This is a very frightening event when I am driving by myself and even more when I am with my family. This has been reported to the dealer several times but it continues to happen. Today it happened in a parking lot so luckily I could stop, turn the vehicle off, open the door, and turn it back in. The problem persisted after shutting the truck off several times. I finally had to let my phone connect, open Apple Music, played a song and paused it so I could have no sound. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jan 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES | Started my truck and drove off. 10 seconds later all of the lights on instrument cluster came on and displayed steering assist reduced the. It said service brake assist. My brakes weee very spongy and hardly worked luckily I was only driving 20 mph and no one was in front of me. I had to disconnect battery and reconnect to fix the problem. What if I was on the highway doing 70 mph and had to hit my brakes suddenly. Someone or multiple people could have been injured. This truck has 13,000 miles on and it’s a year old. I have ready many reports online of this happening in earlier models. How can car manufactures get away with this ? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2024 | STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES | Engine stalled at highway speed 50mpr, disabled brakes, and steering. I coasted to a stop with absolutely no power. Engine would not restart for 2 minutes. No Engine lights or codes present but warning on dash read service trailer brake system disabled. I drifted to a stop with no brakes at all or power steering. We were not hauling any trailers and no trailer was connected. This was the scariest event I've ever experienced driving. Very unhappy when they're was no reason to stall. Gas tank was half full. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | While I was driving down the interstate the audio went to maximum volume. This caused me to panic while driving 70 mph down a very busy interstate because the music was blasting very loudly. I was quickly trying to turn it down and would not work. The power and mute would not work. I had to grab my phone and switch over to Apple Music play a song and then pause it and just keep it paused the entire drive. This happened about 5-6 times in the past year. This is a very serious safety problem. It could easily cause a wreck from panic or dangerous to a newborn baby in the vehicle with speakers blaring as loud as it can possibly go. I have taken it to a dealership twice over it and was just told it’s an update. This is not something you should have to worry about for the life of a new vehicle or take in for an update every time this happens. Luckily nothing happened to me but could have ended very badly or for someone who gets startled easily and possibly damage your hearing. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Nov 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I was driving at about 40 mph and went to brake and the brake pedal went to the floor with multiple lights appearing on the dash including a warning "brake system failure max speed 43 mph" as well as "service ESC". The brake light went on as well as the ABS light and the check engine light. Brakes were not fully functional and were like old manual brakes that you had to press hard on to slow down. I was fearful getting back to the house. Multiple warnings appeared on my Chevy app. Today I started to move in the driveway to clean up as I am taking to dealer tomorrow. All lights are off and the brakes now appear to work. The warnings are off of the app now (curious as to why for such a potentially lethal event) I have screenshots of the dash warnings but neglected to get a screenshot in the app. My fear is that the dealer will blow this off and the app shows all is good only to leave me drive this for them go out again. This is a signifivant safety issue for Chevy (and for my family) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The volume to the vehicles infotainment system was unexpectedly set by the system to the highest setting without my input while listening to XM radio. My attempts to lower the volume via the volume control knob and steering wheel volume adjustment would lower the volume slightly but the rate the system increased the volume was faster than I could lower it. My safety was put at risk because initially the loud volume shocked me and caused me to panic trying to lower the volume so I can hear my surroundings while attempting to drive in city traffic. My safety was also at risk because my watch alerted me to a volume level that causes permanent damage to my hearing. I have not reported this to the dealer or independent service yet. The vehicle has not been inspected. There were no other warning messages or symptoms to the problem prior to the failure. Today was the first incident. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Now 2 issues this is going to blow all of my speakers and no one will warranty it ( cause its not my fault it goes full ON) and the other issue is ... i'm driving at 5am and this thing goes full blast and when your drinking your coffee or anything and this sudden JOLTED IMPACT OF NOISE hits ya scared the crap out of you... this needs to be fixed... it happens like once a month.. very random... but it happens after the truck has sat for a work shift or in the morning but not always in that scenario | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Sep 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,BACK OVER PREVENTION | Vehicle engine blew up stopped running. I was driving up Highway 17 leaving Santa Cruz heading towards Sacramento when Engine failed was able to pull off the side of the freeway without being sideswiped had to have CHP come and shut down the number one lane in order to get vehicle towed. Was pulling a travel trailer. Vehicle and trailer were towed to the closest hotel in Scotts Valley the following day truck was towed to Watsonville Chevrolet where they tore the engine apart and found the catastrophic failure of the engine, vehicle was inspected by Watsonville Chevrolet mechanic. There were no warning mites before engine stopped working no warning and was very fortunate by God's graces to get off the side of the highway before being sideswiped or rear-ended. The repair took 47 days to fix two days after I got the vehicle back the battery was dead because certain electrical components like battery and stereo were not reconnected therefore caused a drain and would not start. Had to call GM again to have the vehicle towed to Folsom Chevrolet California where they kept the vehicle for 9 days to fix the problem which was electrical. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | The audio in the truck increased to maximum volume on its own- without user/driver input.
