| Jul 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | On July 3, 2021 -- we dropped the car off (an appointment we did in May 2023) to fix a safety software issue. The car did not have any warning lamps. We brought the car running, after a week they told us the car no longer is working and that the part is backordered until further notice (probably has no repair). We were not given a loaner and the other alternatives included taking money from our pockets. This is our only car and we commute. We are stuck. They left us with no car for something that we did not cause and are not willing to stop the car payments either. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2023 | TIRES | I have purchased a set of Bridgestone Alenza AS Ultra (P 235 / 55 R 19 105 W XL front, P 255 / 50 R 19 107 W XL back) in August 2022 for my 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro S RWD EV. After only 12,000 miles, tire dry rot started showing up in June 2023 on all tires. The tires have a 80,000 miles warranty so I don't know how come they started to dry rot only after 12,000 miles. If the tires fail while driving, this can be a severe safety hazard as the vehicle may lose control shall the tires fail. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I was notified that there were three safety recalls on my 2021 Volkswagon ID4, including one involving the battery and a risk of fire. The recalls were: 55N-1, 97ZZ, 93P7. I brought the car in for service at the Volkwagon service center in White Plains New York ("White Plains Volkswagon" service center at 410 Saw Mill River Rd, Elmsford, NY 10523) and was told they would address the issues. Three days later, the service center called to say that they were only able to address the 55N-1 issue and didn't have labor available to address the others and that we would have to take our car back. They also said they were unwilling to pay for a rental car or give us a loaner beyond the three days that already passed. We're on a waiting list to address the other safety recall issues but, in the meantime, I feel unsafe driving the car and I don't know why VW couldn't address the issues while the car was in their possession. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Instrument cluster returned error "warnings and information not available. Drive with greater care!" While vehicle was in motion. Issue resulted in loss of speedometer and other systeam safety features including blind spot monitoring, lane assist etc. Loss of speedometer while in motion was of the largest concern. The car produces audible alerts for errors such as low tire pressure or low wiper fluid, but this critical error did not. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I contacted several local Volkswagen dealers regarding safety recall (Manufacturer Recall Number97ZZ, NHTSA Recall Number23V040) to get my vehicle repaired. None of them have parts associated with this repair and told me it will take more than a year to get them. I contacted VW customer service and they are unable to help resolve the issue. I am now forced to drive an unsafe car for more than a year. If VW cannot address this safety issue in a timely manner, I would like them to replace it with a safer vehicle without safety issues. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | 2021 Volkswagen ID.4-Consumer sent Copy of letter sent to Volkswagen Group of America attached. Consumer has not received the 1st software update after 2 years. | May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,STRUCTURE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I have made multiple appointments at WINN VW of Woodland Hills, CA to have these recalls repaired (57J5, 97ZZ) only to have the dealership cancel the appointments both times. I called Galpin VW of Van Nuys, CA and was told flat out that they would not schedule my vehicle for repairs. I was last given an appointment of January 8th, 2024 by Santa Monica VW of Santa Monica CA. I believe that VW is acting with gross negligence and not making a good faith effort to have these recalls repaired in a reasonable timeframe and is therefore putting me and my family lives and safety in danger. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
