Mar 2024 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM jeep was unable to remedy this issue for 6 months, since November 2023. I called and they gave me the run around. They wanted to charge me fees to rent a car instead of driving mine and I paid $600/month as a premium to have a EV just to have to fill it up with gas because they didn't have any remedy for 6 months.

Mar 2024 STEERING,POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM After a period of 10 minutes in stop-and-go traffic, a shift warning light indicated on the warning panel. All the lights for the gear shift lever would light up individually. The vehicle turned off the stability control system and indicated a warning to proceed driving however the vehicle may not be able to shift into park. After about 3 miles of driving, it felt like the power steering stopped working and it was extremely difficult to control and turn the vehicle. It also felt like the vehicle would not shift properly. Once the vehicle was to the side of the road, it indicated that the vehicle was not in park despite moving the gear shift lever to park. The vehicle would not turn off of accessory mode. Had whatever happened to the power steering happened at any higher rate of speed, the vehicle would have been impossible to control in a turn or traffic. It took every bit of arm strength to coax the vehicle to the side of the road.

Mar 2024 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM High voltage battery safety recall is unavailable because parts are not available. I was told to call back in a few week. Recall states not to plug in or park in garage or near other vehicles. This poses a serious risk to myself and others and should be repaired immediately or the entire vehicle needs recalled and replaced. I am terrified to be near or even use my vehicle now. It is my only transportation. I am now forced to spend more financially to purchase gas and am unable to economically use the vehicle I purchased. I feel it need repaired immediately or replaced to prevent injury to myself or others.

Mar 2024 STEERING,SUSPENSION While driving vehicle on highway at 70mph, vehicle went completely out of control shaking violently and would not stop violently shaking until a complete stop on a highway. My wife thought she was going to die. Apparently this is known in the Jeep community as the "Death Wobble." There needs to be a recall immediately before someone dies. This is completely un expectable.

Mar 2024 STEERING While driving down the road, whether local road at 45MPH or on the interstate at 70MPH, under certain conditions the front end starts to wobble out of control and I have to stop the vehicle to get the wobble to stop. This is a known problem and on all of the forums you can see discussions about this exact issue. There is a problem with defective steering dampers which may be undersized for the Jeep Wrangler. This has happened on multiple occasions to me. I went to the local dealership early January 2024 under warranty and they confirmed a defective steering damper. They said the part was scheduled to arrive Jan 30, 2024. Today is March 6 and the part is still on back order for at least 45 days as per the parts department. These vehicles need to be pulled off of the road or Jeep needs to be forced to get the parts ASAP. The local dealership said they have several Jeep Wraglers waiting on this part. This is a nationwide problem. Please help get this addressed. Jeep has identified the problem but the lack of parts is the issue. Putting heat on Jeep is what needs to be done. I have attached an article that discusses this issue named the Jeep Death Wobble.

Mar 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM - What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? High voltage battery may fail internally - How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. - Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? MFG & NHTSA recall B9A/23V-787 22 Nov 2024 - Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No, There is no remedy from the mfg at this time of submission. Recommendations from the manufacturer is: 1. refrain from recharging the vehicle; 2. not to park inside of buildings or structures, or 3. near other vehicles until the vehicles has the final repair completed.--> It has been over 6 months since this issue has been known and there is not remedy. Not having access to the primary function of propulsion for such a long length of time is unacceptable and should prompt either a repair (which is not available, replacement vehicle; refund, or some other form of compensation. The mfg has already denied my claim for replacement/refund of the vehicle.
