| Feb 2024 | POWER TRAIN | I discovered this safety recall Nov. 2023. The recall was opened 2/2023. I found an article in Car and Driver from 2/2021 that described this issue. Jeep leased me this vehicle even though the defect was already known. I am 3 years into a 4 year lease. Because of this inactivity is solving this recall (and a bad case of "Death Wobbles) I want to terminate this lease without penalty. I just want to get rid of this unsafe vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed a failure with the steering linkage. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but did not assist. The contact also received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V116000 (Power Train); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. | Feb 2024 | STEERING | My jeep has 42,000 miles on it and the entire steering assembly has to be replaced. This is directly related to poor quality parts including Ball Joints that failed early resulting in excess vibration in the steering system and ultimately complete wearing out of all component. total cost of repair (excluding tires) is in excess of $3,500. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2024 | STEERING | My son was driving our 2021 Jeep Wrangler in the town of state college and the power steering pump stopped working - the vehicle has less than 25k miles. He was able to to move the car out of traffic and avoid an accident. He is very lucky as if this would have happened on the 300 miles of highway between our home and state college at 65mph this could have ended in tragedy After waiting three weeks for the first available appt at the dealer - the dealer said the power steering pump is defective. no warning lights, no symptoms of a problem. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I have been waiting for a recall to be fixed and Jeep has no known date of delivery for the recall part BUT Jeep has new ones on the lot for sale. My entire vehicle is acting up, one day my reverse sensors malfunction then they don't, my defrost is not working, I can't remote start at all and I live in Buffalo so I need a warm vehicle, the Jeep 4xe will jump forward when coming to a stop, the heater isn't responding when I turn up dial, the death wobble has happened. And my dealer is worthless - no communication so I have to resort to this writing. I bought the 4xe Jan 4, 2021 (brand new) because the "electric" miles get me back and forth to work just fine and less money for gas. The Jeep itself was $63K, and I bought extended warranty. Fast forward to today. I have gone over 2 months w/o electric b/c no parts avail. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | NHTSA Safety Issue ID: 23V787000 Open safety recall with NO FIX. Dealership will not give me a rental car. My car is at risk of starting on fire per the OPEN RECALL what has NO FIX. My family goes in this car and my son is secured in a child restraint seat. If it starts on fire I will not be able to save his life. I also cannot charge it and I bought the PHEV for fuel savings This recall has been open since November 2023 and it’s now 4 months later with NO FIX. My car has 20k miles still under the full factory bumper to bumper warranty and FCA is refusing to help me with a rental car and or car payments. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION | While driving our jeep there are many times on the highway that it starts to shake and wobble very bad. To the point where we have to slow down sometimes under 50mph before it stops doing it. It is very dangerous and the dealer keeps telling us when they test drive it it doesn't do it so there's nothing they can do. Stay away from these | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I received a recall notice (B9A) for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe due to a risk of vehicle fire. The notice states that we should not recharge the vehicle and not park inside buildings nor near other vehicles. I spoke with FCA recall assistance today and they confirmed that there is no remedy available and, despite it being more than two months since sending the notice, no timeline for when a remedy will be rolled out. They have not offered a replacement or a refund as options. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Driving down a freeway at 65+ mph, I was changing gears from 4th gear into 5th gear. As I was changing gears the blew the clutch. I couldn't get it to any gear at all. I could barely stop and get over in traffic. The clutch was doing a few odd things in the preview couple days before it went bad. I was head to get gas then to the dealership when that issue happened. There was no warning lights at all. The jeep only had 3,600 miles on it. It was a 2021 jeep unlimited rubicon The safely of me and others was at risk. The jeep could have caught on fire or blew up. It was scary! The jeep is currently at a certified jeep dealer. Unable to get parts to fix it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE | FROM JEEP - "An internally failed HV battery could lead to a vehicle fire with the ignition on or off. A vehicle fire can result in increased risk of occupant injury and/or injury to persons outside the vehicle, as well as property damage. Customers are advised to refrain from recharging these vehicles and not to park them inside of buildings or structures, or near other vehicles until the vehicle has the final repair completed." First: I live in Philadelphia and DO NOT have the ability to park away from structures, buildings or other vehicles. The jeep 4xe is capable of lighting on fire at ANY POINT and there is nothing I can do to reduce my risk. The recall has been made public since Nov 22,2023 and there is still no lead on a fix nearly 3 months later. Second: These are plug in hybrid vehicles that are of premium cost for the plug in/electric feature. Losing the ability to charge them greatly reduces the use and value of the vehicle. This is by far the worst recall I have ever seen and am dumbfounded that I now sit here nearly 100 days after the recall with no further instruction or lead on a solution. Jeep should be forced to compensate and provide a reasonable alternative until the solution is established. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V787000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL | My 2021 Wrangler began experiencing a violent shaking and reduction of steering control in July 2023. The violent shaking would begin if my vehicle hit a bump while traveling at 65 mph or more. To regain control, I would have to brake and reduce speed to under 65mph (which also is extremely dangerous to do on a freeway). Thunder Jeep in Bartow, FL replaced a broken steering component that temporarily fixed the issue. The issue has now returned in late January 2024. I do not feel safe driving this vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION | Steering wheel violently shakes at speeds above 50 mph, essentially if hitting any sort of bump in the road. This is known as the Jeep "death wobble." We received a damper from Jeep that supposedly fixes the problem. That did not fix anything. Steering wheel still violently shakes at speeds above 50 mph. It can shake for short periods of time (5-10 seconds) or indefinitely. We have to completely stop the car, typically on the shoulder of a freeway/highway, in order to get the shaking to stop. My wife and I feel incredibly unsafe while driving this vehicle. The damper took 10 weeks to arrive so we had to just deal with it for that time period. We thought the nightmare would be over after the damper was installed, but that's not the case. We are now left with a very expensive vehicle that we do not feel safe driving. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION | Over 60mph, hit a small road imperfection and steering shakes violently with the full loss of steering control until vehicle speed is reduced to below 45mph | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | AIR BAGS | Air bags never deployed when I was struck by a vehicle going 55 mph. | Crash: Yes Fire: No Injuries: 1 Towed Medical attention | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Was informed of this recall back in November of 2023. It is approximately 3 months later, and the dealership has heard nothing from Stellantis about how to repair this recall. I also have heard nothing from Stellantis. In the mean time, I cannot fully use the vehicle in the manner it was made, which is why I made the purchase. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION,WHEELS | I have been experiencing the "death wobble" front end issues. It prevents me from highway driving. First experience almost caused an accident. Dealer said it requires a new steering damper but have been terrible with information on if and when part was shipped and when I can expect the issue to be resolved. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | STEERING,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | was driving on the freeway about 65mph-70mph when suddenly the Jeep started the shake tremendously. Luckily there was no traffic, and I was able to pull over and stop the car immediately. this is a big safety concern as it made it hard to control and traumatizing for the driver. cars should not do that. We are scheduling an appointment to ensure nothing is broken. No warnings were shown when the incident happened. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | My 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4XE has been in for service four times. When the vehicle hits a bump at higher speeds ie the freeway, the steering wheel and entire car shake and rattle. The death wobble. I have to slow down or come to a complete stop. This is very dangerous on the freeway. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
