| Aug 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER,VISIBILITY/WIPER | The drivers-side Sunvisor keeps falling down randomly and dangles in way of line of sight to the road. It will not stay up. The safety issue is while driving in heavy traffic in Houston, TX the visor fell down obstructing my view and I almost crashed trying to keep the Visor Up with one hand and avoiding cars changing lanes. I did take my truck to the dealer and they told me it would cost $180 just to look at and then they would tell how much it would cost to fix. I feel this should be a Safety Matter and corrected free of charge. I looked on the internet and it seems there are a lot of problems with this same issue. There were not any warning lights before or after the visor would obstruck my vision. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | ENGINE | Broken exhaust manifold bolt. Allows exhaust gas to enter engine compartment. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Back window leaks allowing water to seap in and build up mold/mildew under head liner. Dealer says this is a common problem with the ram and manufacturer won't cover after factory warranty. Manufacturer is aware of problem but won't recall or fix issue . Mold can cause a health risk if not detected early enough. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I noticed the rear view window mouldings are cracked inside the cabin of my truck by the 3rd brake light. Everytime it rains or wash my vehicle it’s leaking water inside the cabin onto the back seat. I called the local dealer ship (empire Chrysler jeep ram dodge) and set an appointment to get it fixed under warranty. They made me wait two months after the warranty expire to be seen. Now both corporate and the dealership won’t cover the manufacture issue because my truck is out of the warranty. The rear view glass needs to be replaced in order to fix the issue. I do not have glass coverage, and I will not pay to get it replaced. I do not want mold growing inside the cave of my truck, making me and my family sick. I also had a case number with RAM customer care and they told me the same thing. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I was on my farm road and I had to back up a long distance. I was surprised to find out the truck is governed not to exceed 20 mph in reverse. While I know most people can’t go in reverse that fast , I do, I can and it’s frustrating knowing I can’t. I look at this as a safety issue because what if I was in a threatening situation and had to back up quickly to get out of that place. So picture in your head someone it trying to do me harm on a single lane road and they have stopped in front of me to carjack me or something similar. I quickly put my car in reverse only to find my max speed is 20 mph. The carjackers car has no limit and they quickly catch me and run me off the road etc etc. I do not need to have that decision of how fast I go in reverse made for me. Is this a new government regulation or something by RAM? I would like an answer. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | STEERING | Vibration and noise when turning. We have taken it to the Dodge dealers 5 time and they said nothing found until last visit after truck was through warranty. They report a new steering pump is needed. This issue first appeared in 2021 and was dismissed by the dealer mechanics. The dear was able to feel and hear issue when driving the truck. This steering issue poses a safety issue every time we drive the truck. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Start/stop went unavailable and vehicle stalled and applied parking brake. Both incidents were while stop/start had been on and after releasing the brake. | Jul 2023 | ENGINE | Exhaust Manifolds have cracked twice on the right and once on the left side in the first 45K miles of the vehicles life. Both times replaced under warranty, there appears to be a design defect here that should be resolved. Leaking exhaust manifold in California will violate CARB emission standards. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | The plastic clip that holds the sun visor into the roof has broken after 32,000 miles of driving, when the plastic has failed he visor can fall out of position and into the field of view, the visor can no longer be stored in its correct position, it also needs to be held while driving so that it does not obstruct ones vision. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | STEERING | While making a right turn from a stop, I lost all steering almost running into the car adjacent. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | ENGINE | Both exhaust manifolds cracked creating an exhaust allowing exhaust gases/fumes into the vehicles cabin causing an obvious safety issue. No warnings lights of any sort, the components were inspected by the dealership and confirmed that they were cracked. This is a recurring problem as a quick search about ram exhaust manifolds will provide a never ending list of stories and the dealer themselves stated they are constantly replacing cracked exhaust manifolds everyday and the parts are hard to get due to the issue being so common. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jul 2023 | STRUCTURE | I am having issues with water coming in on the driver side. Every time it rains it drips right where my break pedal is and makes is really slippery and completely floods the floor where the driver seat is. This is a safety issue if I am trying to break and the break is so slippery because water is constantly on the break pedal. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jul 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING,STRUCTURE | The frame of the back window is cracking causing water to leak into the cab. After talking to the dealership they are saying this is happening with RAM Trucks that has not been recalled. He stated that the control module is located under the rear seat which is getting wet and causing problems to the trun signals, starting of the truck and lighting to malfunction which could cause an accident. There is also airbags located on the rear roof that could cause them not to go off. This repair is going to be between 2000 and 5000 bucks depending on the damage. I believe this should be a safety recall due to the chance of someone's life being lost. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | The start/stop feature on the truck has been malfunctioning and the light has repeatedly came on. The truck has stalled on me while driving on two different occasions. I was in the middle of driving on a busy road and also a highway and the truck stalled on me which could of caused any vehicle to the side of me, or behind me to hit my vehicle causing an accident especially when I have both my kids in the car. The dealer allegedly fixed the problem but clearly it is NOT fixed. The problem has been diagnosed by the dealer at their establishment. They say nothing shows the truck stalling in the computer but I have proof. The truck shook, the start/stop light came on along with the check engine light and then stalled out on me both times. I opened a case with ram care and they dont seem to be of any help nor is the dealer. The dealer refused both times to check the “e-torque” battery that controls the start/stop feature for any failures or malfunctions and gave the excuse that theirs nothing indicating its the battery yet that battery specifically controls that feature. Ram has also recalled 131k trucks and wranglers for stalling. Ive brought the truck to them 2 times this month alone and they refuse to check that battery which 2 other dealers said was the problem. I would of brought it to the other 2 dealers but ram care advised to bring it to the dealer where I purchased the truck from. This is seriously unreal and if something happens or my kids get hurt due to an accident this is gonna be a major lawsuit. I need your help. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The vehicle was taken to the dealer and diagnosed with a possible brake light or antenna failure. The rear window glass was replaced. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred twice, and the rear window glass was replaced; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer for rear window replacement. The contact stated that the rear window glass had been replaced by two local dealers; however, the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance other than replacing the glass. The failure mileage was approximately 16,800. | Crash: No Fire: No | 16,800 |
