| Apr 2024 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | On 4/14/24, while driving ~45mph with no cars or other obstacles anywhere in sight, automatic braking engaged. It was out of the blue, and alarming. Fortunately, no car was behind me, so no accident occurred. I had no indication of any problem prior to this incident. This problem has not occurred again. The Honda dealer offered to run a diagnostic for $100, but seemed disbelieving that they would find anything, so I did not pursue, still thought it was dangerous enough that I should report this. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I've owned this car for 4 years. The automatic braking has engaged a couple of times each year. There is never any traffic in front of me when this happens. It only happens on multi-lane highways. It has happend during the day and at night. Weather is always clear when it happens. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | STEERING | I’m not 100% sure but it seems like something to do with the power steering . When turning the steering wheel sometimes it feels stuck in place and needs a little force to free it . If making a turn you can let go and it will maintain the turn. I have tried it with lane assist on and off and it doesn’t seem to make a difference . Sometimes it drives normal without sticking. I’m taking it back to the dealer where it was purchased to have the service center see if they can pin point it. No warning lights or codes are on. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

After diagnosis, the part was ordered and replaced within 2 days for approximately $777. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | It is about Bubbles in the rear glass panel where I have 100 of bubbles and it is because of error in application (bed part –tint or worst work). It looks terrible and has impact on possibilities if I drive it when is the nighttime and increase the risk of crash. I start asking Honda to repair it long time ago and was denied. (Tint is dealership installed and 2 other dealership in Jacksonville have lifetime warranty on installed tint and also most of glass tint services in Jacksonville). I contacted American Honda CO and they told me that they do not have anything to do with it because it is not factory installed tint and they cannot commend to dealerships what to do. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2024 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | The fuel pump system failed and did not accurately display the amount of fuel in tank. This caused car to run out of gas on busy highway, and shut down and all systems turned off. Was able to coast to side of road and from there was eventually towed to local dealership. They diagnosed the fuel system problem and repaired. This was second time it happened, first time was not diagnosed, just fill with gas. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The CR-V violently jerked to the right and exited the interstate at approximately 70mph (I was on cruise control), travelled down an embankment hitting several trees and came to a stop in trees on the edge of a farm pond. All airbags deployed, and per the Tow company, the engine and transaxles departed the vehicle and were found a short distance in front of the vehicle. | Jan 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The component(s) may be electrical in nature for fuel pumps don't produce electricity. On 1/9/2024 after the car been locked and off for a few hours noticed something running at the rear of the car. The fuel pump was running. Got the car fob, started and cut off. No fuel pump was running after shutdown. My father was with me, it's his car. For safety sakes, premature failure of the fuel pump or engine will cause a stall, and while driving, potentially cause a crash. (Big picture), This car line in general has major fuel pump failures, and downstream, motor failure (fuel intrusion, known fact). If a fuel injector had a problem (leak by), motor failure. These known problems may originate at the starting switch, computer, or other in-between components. Called this into Vicksburg Miss. Cannon Honda dealership 1/10/24. It was said there was at least one more with the same problem, fuel pump running after shutdown, killing the battery or running it down. This car was bought at this dealership a year and half ago. No one has looked at the car, but if contacted, may by agreement, look at the car if a loaner can be acquired. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed; however, no cause for the failure was found. The contact called the local dealer and was informed that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacture was not contacted. The failure mileage was 17,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 17,000 |
| Dec 2023 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | When I am in adaptive cruise control mode, and I am in the left lane and a large vehicle like a semi-truck or a pickup truck pulling a large trailer is in the right lane passes me, from time to time it will engage the braking system even though there is nothing in front of my vehicle. Recently it has also been happening if I am in the right lane and vehicle exits the highway on an off ramp. I have been lucky to date that no vehicle was behind me when the braking system engaged, or there would have been an accident. This issue has been occurring ever since I bought the 2020 CRV new and have brought it to the attention of the dealer several times, and they say they could not find an issue. My last scheduled maintenance appointment they recommended recalibrating the system, and the issue is still there. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2023 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Driving about 35mph. Nearest vehicle ahead of me (semi trailer) was about a block ahead. My brake alert came on. I did not brake because there was no need to. Then the car applied the brakes automatically. No accident as no one was behind me. This occurred first week of Dec 2023. There was a prior incident about a month ago where the car ahead of me was about a car and a half length ahead. Brake alert came on, then Went off. I didn’t brake and really didn’t think too much of it. But after reading online, others having issues I thought it needs to be reported. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | The break pedal felt stiff and I had hard time coming to a stop. That was going on for a few days until the car was dropped off for service. The reason was a break booster failure. We were told that it never happens. Even though the car only had about 15K miles we were out of warranty so had to pay $2400 to get it fixed. We filed a claim with Honda but were denied in reimbursement. Honda had break booster recalls in multiple models but not this one. However, there's no reason for the break booster failure other than a manufacturer's defect. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2023 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | My rear fuel pump failed suddenly when we were driving in highway. No warning at all. We just completed our vehicle inspections by the Honda dealer 3 days prior. We also had them do oil change, replace brake and transmission fluid. It cost us about $2000 for towing and repairs. We found that there is a recall on other crv made the same year. How can I get my repairs reimbursed? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Nov 2023 | TIRES | 235/60R18 service bulletin 20-081 October 8 2020 after only 16000 miles and a trip to the dealership I advised that the wear and tear of every tire was different and need attention. I ask why the difference between the wear they suggested check the vehicle for problems with the suspension, nothing was found. I ask for replacement under warranty I even showed the service bulletin from honda mentioned at the top of this page , they ask me to contact the tire manufacturer witch I did, the manufacturer told me since I didn't purchase the tires directly from them warranty was denied, I went back to the manufacturer honda file a case which they denied because they didn't think my case fits the service bulletin from them. At the end I make the expense to replace the tires , what makes a huge difference in the handling of the vehicle. Case# 13736110 with honda | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2023 | POWER TRAIN,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | One year after I bought my new 2020 Honda crv the Torque Converter seal leaked and the oil seal was replaced. I had only 4670 miles on it. In August of this yr 2023 my battery died in the middle of no where and had to wait for AAA in 103 temp for 45 minutes. Today October 20th,2023 my car stalled in the middle of a 4 lane busy intersection. The car was towed to the dealership and the fuel pump was replaced at only 14,400 miles! this vin has had no recalls but im so disappointed since I bought a Honda for its reliability. I have a disabled 81 yr old husband and this has been more than stressful. My warranty expires this Dec 2023 and im afraid I bought a lemon. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V383000 (Air Bags), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was 45,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 45,000 |
