| Sep 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES | my wife was driving and she got warning lights for "brake assist failure" "speed limited" and "Service ESC". Brake pedal went all the way to floor and she came to a rolling stop. She couldve been in a accident if there were vehicles in front of her and it was also near a school bus stop. We recieved the vehicle from the shop a week ago today for other issues. (onstar). Was also in shop at dealership prior to that for coolant leak, a/c failure and a loud humming noise. Also door latch to rear hatch. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Started 09/17/25: While braking, a front-end clunk or thud occurs. Directly afterwards, a cluster of warning lights appeared including Brake, ABS, Collision avoidance/forward collision, and Stabile track stability control) Brake pedal is now inconsistent and soft. Every time the brakes are activated, the thud or clunk occurs. When I start the vehicle, I get warning messages of Service Brake Assist, Service ESC on the dash that I must acknowledge. Called Hendricks Chevy Columbia SC on 9/18/25. Told to bring into dealership on 9/19/25. Dealership attempted diagnosis but could not. They bled brakes and reset all warning lights. I drove car approx. 10 miles and symptoms reoccurred, including all warning lights and thud/clunk. Called Dealership again and told to bring into on 9/22/25. It is now 9/23/25 and they have not diagnosed it yet. I was assigned a loaner car for 5 days. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

(See photo below). Safety of self and others put at risk as car became uncontrollable due to complete loss of braking power while driving. Dealership has not notified yet due to long waiting of other vehicles undergoing maintenance (in my case 2 days at time of this report) Part hasn’t been inspected yet. Issue seems in line with similar incident referring to other 2025 and 2024 Traverse molels. Warning signs and alerts appeared only at time of incident (See photo below) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE | the whole dashboard lit up with break and park indicator lit up in red on dashboard. warning flashed about automatic break system failure and ESC warning | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I rear ended a car on 3/12/25, and my automatic emergency braking system light was on at the time. When my car was returned to me, I set the braking system off, so the light was still on, but when I tried to turn the system back on in June, the light came on and told me I needed to get it serviced. As it wasn't a priority to have the automatic emergency braking system, I didn't take my car into the dealership until August 18, when 3 more dashboard indicators came on. The dealership stated they would be waiting on a part for my brakes, but it is on national backorder, with no ETA. It has been in the shop for over 4 weeks (it was dropped of 8/18, but lights came on 8/10). | Crash: Yes Fire: No | Unknown |

| Sep 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES | Several alerts came on, including ABS light, SERVICE ESC, SERVICE BRAKE ASSIST, ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL UNAVAILABLE. Blind spot alert stopped working. Dealership reset everything but the issue came back within a few hours. They said it may have something to do with the brake system | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2025 | STRUCTURE | The antenna cover (shark fin) on the roof of the vehicle detached while driving and flew off. Looking at the piece that flew off, the clips that are made to clip in and keep it attached to the roof broke off somehow and seemed to be very weak where some were still attached. The safety of other vehicles are put at risk by it being unexpected flying debris and could potentially hit a vehicle/motorcycle following behind or debris is the roadway. My dealer specifically has not seen many, but when researching online, it’s is a very common issue with the 2024 and 2025 Chevrolet Traverse. My vehicle was brought to my dealership and a person from the body shop will attempt to attach it back for a temporary fix until the issue can be resolved and not have to pay hundreds of dollars for something that the vehicle owner had no control over breaking. There was no warning of this attachment breaking off, nor should it be something that a vehicle owner should have to worry about replacing six months in of purchasing a brand new vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Sep 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,AIR BAGS,SERVICE BRAKES | The contact owns a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 45 MPH through a green light, another vehicle failed to yield at 50 MPH for a red light due to being impaired, causing a collision in which the contact’s vehicle was T-boned. No warning lights were illuminated before the crash. The front and side curtain air bags failed to deploy. The contact reported that no injuries were immediately sustained, and no medical attention was provided at the scene. However, the contact was later transported to a local emergency facility and diagnosed with a back injury. A police report was filed.. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the air bags, service brakes, and battery of the vehicle had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was opened. | Sep 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES | Normal evening running errands and brake pedal went to the floor, unable to stop and starting rolling into oncoming traffic. Put transmission in Park, then reverse to get out the main highway and back to the service road, car would continue to roll. Service ESC, Service Brake Assist, Engine light and more popped up on dash. Vehicle had to get towed. This could have been a very dangerous situation. Being told the Master Cylinder needs to be replaced. Part is ordered with no delivery date. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2025 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | The roof-mounted antenna (shark fin style) detached from my 2025 Chevrolet Traverse (approx mileage:7,500) during normal use. This should not occur on a new vehicle, and I have seen multiple other owners of the same model year reporting the same issue. If the antenna were to detach while driving, it could create a safety hazard to other vehicles on the road. My vehicle is scheduled for dealer inspection, but I believe this should be documented as a potential defect. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | STRUCTURE | While driving with the front windows all the way up and the back windows all the way down at 60mph or higher the door panels vibrate real bad like they want pop off from the frame of the car, which is unacceptable. You should be able to drive with windows how you want to in you vehicle without your door vibrating like they want to pop off. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Car had Service brake assist warning along with 3 or lights on dadhboard. I was told master brake cylinder needs replacing | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES | When putting my vehicle in park it jumps forward about 1 foot. This happen about 70% of the time when I shift into park. Also, my vehicle will brake randomly while driving. This happened one time on the freeway where my car came to a complete stop, luckily there was no one driving close behind me. More often this occurs while backing out of my driveway. My vehicle is available for inspection at any time. These problems are concerning because if my car jumps forward after being placed in park, I could potentially hit a vehicle parked in front of me or a person walking by. The braking while driving is very scary, especially since I was on the freeway and it could've possibly resulted in a serious accident. I took my vehicle to the dealership, and they had it for several days. When I picked it up, I was told that they were unable to recreate the issue of the car jumping forward. Regarding the braking while driving I was told that "a bulletin had been issued for this problem but since there is currently no fix, we advise the safety features be turned off." The mechanic then went on to say, "I'm unable to turn these features off because it would be a liability, but I can show you how." I spoke to the head of the service department the next day because I am scared to drive my young children around in this vehicle and was told that the braking sensors are just sensitive. At this point I'm not driving the car for safety reasons. No messages come on when the vehicle jumps forward after parking. When the vehicle brakes completely while driving I've seen the message saying once "obstacle detected" but other times I've been so startled I don't look at the dash, I'm more worried about getting hit in that moment. I did notice my seat vibrate every time this has happened. This all began shortly after buying my vehicle in February 2025. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Suddenly with just over 8300 miles on the vehicle, lights for ABS, traction control, forward collision and parking brake all came on. The brake pedal started to feel spongy on the way to the dealership. The dealership replaced the master cylinder under warranty. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | We purchased this 2025 Chevy Traverse on 6-13-2025. The dash goes dark/blank thus not allowing me to know the speed, amount of gas nor any information on the driving including driver assist measurements. I have taken the car in twice with no satisfaction. I received it back on Friday - 8/22/2025 and within 3 miles the screen was blank again. This makes the vehicle unsafe and dangerous. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
