| Jan 2026 | ENGINE | The vehicle does not always turn on after coming to a stop. The auto start-stop function does not work at all times. There have been a few situations where the car will not turn back on and takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes to turn back on, and leaves us stranded at stop signs, red lights and turning lanes and we are unable to get out of the traffic which we feel is very unsafe as people have to try and go around us as we impede traffic . The vehicle displays error message stating their is a problem with the battery system, but once it turns back on (no specific time or way to get it going that we are aware of) the error light disappears. We have taken it to the dealer but they state since they cannot recreate the error , happened at ~3k miles, ~10k miles, ~16k and last time ~24k and the error turns off once the car is able to go, they will not do anything. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | My vehicle is affected by a serious safety defect involving engine fire risk. FCA US LLC Stellantis has issued a safety recall 78C/NHTSA 25V-766 for this condition and has publicly stated that the remedy for this condition is not currently available. I have been instructed to park outside and limit the use of the vehicle. This defect presents an unreasonable risk of fire and is unsafe and unreliable. A loss of drive power may result in a vehicle crash without prior warning. This defect poses a substantial impairment of use, value, and safety. This defect poses a substantial danger to life, health, and property. This defect constitutes a serious safety hazard, and FCA US LLC Stellantis has failed to provide a timely or effective repair remedy. Because no repair is currently available, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. Under Texas law, a manufacturer is not permitted unlimited time to develop a repair when a vehicle presents a dangerous condition. I have sent a demand letter on January 8, 2026 to FCA US LLC Stellantis, certified mail return receipt of my demand to buyback the vehicle at the paid purchase price, including sales tax, finance charges, down payment, registration fees, etc. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Recall 2 The engine can just cut out - complete loss of power at any time resulting in a vehicle crash with no warning. Recall 3 Engine Fires I keep getting recalls and there are no estimated dates for repairs. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE | THIS IS A LEASED VEHICLE THAT HAS HAD 3 RECALLS : 2 RECALLS , THAT AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING, COULD BE SCHEDULE FOR A POTENTIAL FIX (DONE ON 12/31). THERE IS 1 THAT STILL HAS NO FIX. THESE ARE HIGHLY DANGERS RISKS (FIRES, EXPLOSIONS, COMPLETE SHUT DOWN WHILE DRIVING, ETC) THIS IS MY FAMILY VEHICLE, CHILDREN ARE IN THIS CAR. I AM CURRENTLY PAYING WELL MORE THAN THE CAR IS VALUED AT SINCE IT DEPRICIATED DO TO RISKS OF SAFTY, AND I AM RISKING MY CHILDREN'S AND MY OWN LIFE BELIEVING THAT THERE WILL BE A FIX AND I DONT EXPLODE TAKING THEM TO SCHOOL OR MYSELF TO WORK. THIS VEHICLE HAS SHUT DOWN ON ME TWICE IN 8 WEEKS BEFORE HAVING THE RECALLS THAT COULD BE DONE SCHEDULED. IT JUST DIES NO INTERIOR LIGHTS, NO WAY TO SHIFT IT OUT OF GEAR TO GET IT TO SAFE PLACE TO BE IN A DEAD VEHICLE. SINCE HAVING THE 2 RECALLS AND THE 12V LOOKED AT IT HAS BEEN RUNNING IN FORM MODE..NOT WHY YOU PURCHASE A HYBRID. JEEP CUSTOMER CARE IS A JOKE AND STALLANTIS (ALSO MY LEASING COMPANY) WILL ONLY RETUNS MY CALLS IF I “FORGET” TO MAKE PAYMENT BY THE 10TH OF THE MONTH…FINALLY FIGURED THAT OUT. MY GUESS IS A LEMON LAW ATTORNEY MAY BE THE ONLY WAY TO PROTECT MY FAMILY, SINCE THE ONLY ONES WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE CONCERS AND SAFTY OF MYSELF AND MY CHHILDRENS ARE THE DEALERSHIP. THIS WAS MY FAMILIES 5TH JEEP AND COULD POSSIBLLY BE OUR LAST | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | While driving, the vehicle lost all propulsion and came to a stop. Fortunately my wife was able to pull to the side of the road safely. It has not been inspected because we believe it falls within the A7C recall for which there is no current remedy. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | I own a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ). A high-voltage battery safety recall for fire risk was issued on October 30, 2025 (NHTSA 25V-741 / Stellantis 68C). From the date of the recall, I did not use the plug-in battery function as intended because of the fire-risk recall instructions. A remedy was not available until mid-December 2025. When I brought the vehicle in for the recall remedy, the battery failed the recall procedure/diagnostic and now requires a full high-voltage battery replacement. The vehicle will be out of service for approximately two weeks. This recall has prevented normal safe use of the PHEV battery function and has resulted in extended loss of use while awaiting battery replacement. My vehicle was previously subject to the earlier HV battery fire-risk recall(s), including NHTSA 24V-720 (FCA 95B) (and earlier NHTSA 23V-787 (FCA B9A)), before the newer battery recall campaign INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | After a bad OTA update in October, in November before the stop charge recall was issued I noticed on Nov 21, when in "ELECTRIC" mode, after 10 or so minutes of driving the vehicle loses the ability to accelerate past half application of the accelerator. This lack of power continues until the accelerator is FULLY pushed on the floor forcing the gas engine on and causing immediate and dangerous acceleration. After this incident on the 11/21, I didn't charge again until I had the 68C recall performed where the dealer told me they think it's fixed. On my way home from the dealer it happened again. From here I emailed the dealer over the holiday and sent them videos of the problem. I opened a case with Jeep and brought it in. I was then told they replicated my issue but that it's normal now since all the updates. They refused to go for a quick ride along and closed my Jeep case with no resolution or help. This problem that did not exist before the OTA update. I don't know if it's related to the OTA update or related to the A7C recall, wither way I don't feel safe driving this with any amount of charge in it, even though the dealer gave an OK to charge. The dealer wants nothing to do with addressing this because I think they can't fix it since there is no CEL or codes in the computer. I don't know what to do from here. You will find attached the email chain and see YouTube addresses. I can share these directly if needed or produce much better ones. This is completely repeatable and consistent. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The contact stated that after several attempts, the vehicle started, and the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The dealer informed the contact that an error code was reset and was a communication error. In addition, the contact was informed that the check engine warning light was off. The contact had received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact was informed that the recall repair for NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System) was performed and that the battery did not need to be replaced. In addition, the contact was informed that the vehicle was safe to drive. The contact was concerned about the potential fire risk regarding the repair. The contact requested a signed document including the statement; however, the dealer declined. The contact was informed that the signed document was not part of the policy. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000. The VIN was unavailable. | Crash: No Fire: No | 20,000 |
| Jan 2026 | ENGINE | New Safety Recall 78C (NHTSA 25V-766) for 2.0L engine fire risk due to sand contamination. And there is no current remedy. Attached recall letter. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | THREE urgent fire risk/catastrophic recalls with no remedy avail. Urged not safe to drive or charge due to fire risk. Urged to park away from buildings due to fire risk. Cannot schedule an appointment for repair as no remedy is avail. Considering, vehicle is not serviceable since September 2025. Requesting a buyback as I need a reliable and safe vehicle ASAP. Currently posing a catastrophic risk to my family, neighbors and employer/co-workers as this is my only means of transportation. Unsafe and hazardous. I purchased this vehicle back in August 2024, currently only has 17,000 miles and all services are UTD minus the recalls considering no remedy avail. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jan 2026 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | i purchased this certified preowned vehicle in the month of 10/2025 from manahwkin jeep. ii drove the vehicle aproximately 1000 mile since i purchased it. i contacted the dealership that the vehicle is hybrid battery not staying charged and that the motor is stalling and losing power when i drive it along with abnormal sounds from the engine . i had to pull over and recycle the ignition numerous times . when i checked the oil i noticed that there was a dirt /sandy substance on the dipstick, the service advisor told me this is normal and i believe is abnormal . i feel my issues that i am experiencing are consistent with the current recalls 68c and 78c . i feel that the dealership is giving me the runaround | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | Recall 78C on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe poses an imminent threat. Jeep has no current fix for the issue. Jeep is providing no buyback options or trade-in assistance to get out from under the vehicle. I was told by Stellantis not to drive the vehicle and that I was to fully front the cost of a rental (and be reimbursed later) while still paying a car payment for a vehicle they said not to drive. I am now saddled with a dangerous vehicle I can not trade in and Jeep is providing no assistance or fix for the 78C recall. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | POWER TRAIN,ENGINE | I am reporting an unresolved safety recall on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (recall 78C). This recall involves manufacturing debris left in the engine, which can cause sudden loss of power while driving and, in some cases, engine fires. There is currently no fix available for this recall. Despite the known safety risk, Stellantis is instructing owners to continue driving the vehicle. I have told the manufacturer that I do not feel safe operating a vehicle under an active safety recall with no remedy, but I was told there is nothing they can do. This vehicle is leased, and while a separate battery recall (68C) was addressed with rental reimbursement, Stellantis is refusing to provide any interim accommodation for recall 78C, even though it remains open and unresolved. Being told to continue driving a vehicle with a known risk of sudden power loss or fire, with no repair available, presents a serious safety concern for drivers and the public. I am concerned about the risk of an accident or fire occurring before a fix is available. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | On Thursday, December 18, 2025, while driving approximately 70 mph on US-30 in Indiana, my vehicle suddenly displayed a warning indicating speed would be limited and that I needed to place the vehicle in Park and restart it. At the time, I was traveling in the left lane with semi-trucks beside and behind me. The abrupt loss of speed and ability to accelerate created an immediately dangerous situation. Luckily, I was able to maneuver across traffic to the right shoulder. After placing the vehicle in Park and attempting a restart, the vehicle did not recover as expected and could not be shifted out of Park. I was stranded on the shoulder of a high-speed highway with heavy truck traffic. I have an open case with Jeep Customer Care and have made numerous calls. I have been routed between Customer Care, the Recall team, and Roadside Assistance. The vehicle currently has multiple open recalls, including those for potential power loss due to software defects, engine contamination with debris that can cause failure, fire risk, or loss of drive power, and fire risks from the hybrid battery system. No representative can confirm whether these recalls are related to my failure, despite the symptoms (sudden speed limitation, failure to restart, and inability to shift out of Park) closely matching descriptions in the power loss and engine failure recalls. On December 18th I was promised a case manager callback within one business day. That did not occur. I called again 12/22 and was routed to Roadside Assistance again, which cannot help me, and then to Recall and I just received a supervisor callback from the Recall department, and he provided no additional resolution. I have repeatedly requested escalation in all of my calls and have been continuously told there is no escalation. Not only is this a serious safety risk, but a complete failure by Stellantis/Chrysler/Jeep to provide any resolutions to a very serious problem. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Subject: Safety Complaint – 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe (VIN: [XXX] ) – Recall 68C High Voltage Battery Fire Risk Dear NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation, I am filing this safety complaint for my leased 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Plug-in Hybrid (VIN: [XXX] ) regarding Safety Recall 68C (NHTSA Campaign Number 25V-741) – High Voltage Battery Defect. The recall notice states that the HV battery may become damaged during normal vehicle operation, leading to internal short circuit, overheating, and potential vehicle fire – even when parked or not charging. This poses a serious life-threatening risk to occupants, family members, and bystanders. Current interim remedy is insufficient: Owners advised to refrain from recharging and park away from structures/other vehicles. Permanent remedy (battery replacement) is still under development as of December 2025. Vehicle is effectively unusable for normal family use (cannot park in garage, constant fire fear). I operate in E-Save mode only (no charging), but risk remains per manufacturer notice. Family details: Wife and two children – safety severely impacted. I request NHTSA to: Escalate investigation into this defect. Pressure Stellantis/FCA US LLC for immediate permanent remedy by way of lease termination. Consider expanding recall scope if needed. Attached letter addressed to co-signee. Thank you for your urgent attention to this life-threatening safety issue. Sincerely, [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] Lease through Chrysler Capital INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | My 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is affected by multiple active safety recalls, including recall 25V-741 related to a high-voltage battery fire risk, recall 25V-710 involving software issues that may cause loss of propulsion, and recall 25V-766 concerning potential engine contamination from casting sand that could result in engine failure. These defects place my safety and the safety of others at risk due to the possibility of sudden loss of power, vehicle immobilization, or fire, including while the vehicle is parked. The vehicle has not experienced a fire or complete failure to date; however, the recalls have been confirmed by the manufacturer and dealer, and I have been informed that no permanent remedy is currently available, with estimates extending into 2026. I have received recall notifications and operational guidance, including limiting battery charging and taking safety precautions, which restrict normal use of the vehicle. No warning lights or fault messages have occurred beyond standard recall notifications, and the vehicle remains available for inspection upon request. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | STEERING,SUSPENSION | On Monday, December 15th at approximately 4:30pm, after having turned East onto highway 556, aka Roy Avenue, accelerating to the speed limit of 45 mph, I crossed over a "seam" connecting the roadway to the bridge, which immediately set off the infamous "death wobble" on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler JLU. I was unable to control the vehicle, and I had to slow down while wrestling with the steering so that I could pull off to the right hand side of the road. Had I not been able to react in such a quick manner, I could have easily collided with oncoming traffic, killed or injured others, or been killed myself. I took the vehicle to the dealer two days later, who said that the issue was a "steering stabilizer", which appears to be the default response from Stellantis as all steering stabilizers are on back-order. There were no warning lights, no indicators that this event was imminent and the dealership indicated that all other parts were in normal working order. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | This vehicle had multiple issues as a 1 year old vehicle. Shaking in the front end on the highway, leading to replacing front sway bar and dampeners. Now multiple fire hazard recalls for the battery and for engine while driving, charging, and just being parked. The vehicle has shut off while driving placing my life and others at risk in the road. No warning lights prior to any of these issues. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | My vehicle is subject to two open safety recalls: 68C (PHEV High Voltage Battery) and 78C (PHEV 2.0L Engine Fire / Loss of Propulsion). Recall 78C currently has no available remedy and involves risk of engine fire and sudden loss of propulsion without warning. The manufacturer has issued guidance advising modified use and safety precautions, including parking the vehicle outside and avoiding certain operating conditions. Based on these warnings and the lack of a remedy, I do not feel safe operating or using the vehicle as intended. I contacted Jeep/Stellantis Recall Customer Care multiple times and was assigned a case number. However, no loaner vehicle or transportation assistance has been provided, my assigned case manager and supervisor did not follow up, and my local Jeep dealer has not contacted me to schedule service or provide alternatives. Due to the unresolved safety recall, lack of remedy, and lack of manufacturer follow-through, I am unable to safely use the vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | 1. Hybrid battery fire hazard – presents a real risk of fire while the vehicle is parked or in operation. 2.Engine debris from factory build – the engine contains debris from the manufacturing process, creating a risk of engine failure or further damage. I’ve reached out to dealership and Stellantis they offered no resolution but say they are “working on it.” No timeline given when resolution will be available while I’m still making my monthly lease payments on a defective, hazardous vehicle. Dealership said no resolution from Stellantis, Stellantis telling me to reach out to Jeep.. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2025 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I have experienced TPSM issues that suddenly "resolve" by itself when taken to the dealership. On top of this, I also experience electrical issues from time to time such as audio from the radio not working, the screen glitching or not turning on, and other electrical issues. The worst issue is that I have a serious recall that can't be fixed due to parts not being available. I didn't purchase a brand new 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe so that I could have these issues. I should not have to worry about my jeep catching fire or parking it away from my home or other vehicles. You're welcome to inspect everything. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
