| Dec 2023 | STEERING,LANE DEPARTURE | I like how tesla has created an audible and visual clue to know when the Assistive functions enable, engage and they disengage. With this hyundai, there is a steering Icon, that lights up in the instrument cluster, that we should search to confirm its engaged, and then when it disengages, it just disappears without any warining or notification that the driver is in control. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I bought a new 2024 hyundai palisade. They advertise it being capable of driving the car with digital key app. But it’s a hit or a miss. The other day it unlocked the door with the digital key, but when I tried to start the car, it would keep asking me to have the key. This is an unreliable way and should either be fixed or not used. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2023 | EXTERIOR LIGHTING | The low beam headlights are a safely issue with the 2024 Palisade. The low beams on mine are downright dangerous. 1. They are dim. They don't illuminate the pavement adequately. 2. The low beam light projection is too short, and the cutoff line is too severe. Coming over a hill or around a curve, the low beams don't illuminate the outside curb nor telephone poles which are located on the outside curbline. I own a late model Subaru Outback and a late model BMW. Both of those cars have terrific LED headlights that give bright light and effective focus. I otherwise like my 2024 Hyundai, but I would not have bought it if I had known about the deficient headlights. My next car likely won't be a Hyundai if my research reveals the problem has not been properly fixed. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Nov 2023 | EQUIPMENT | I had a flat tire with 1000 miles on the vehicle. I lowered the spare tire and retrieved the jack from the trunk. I placed the jack under the proper spot on the vehicle. I raised the jack and the threaded rod on the jack bent. When this happened I could no longer raise or lower the vehicle.I called AAA and they came out to replace the tire. At this point the jack is useless and Hyundai said it is a Courtesy that I have the Jack | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Nov 2023 | EXTERIOR LIGHTING | The low beam headlights have a very short range, followed a severe cutoff line. There is total darkness beyond the cutoff line. These headlights are dangerous, especially on curves, | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | Driving down cobblestone street approximately 15mph came to a stop sign and when pressing the brakes the abs kicked in nd the whole front end was shaking. I have never in 35yrs of driving have had this happen on a cobblestone street. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | When I hit any kind of bump in the road while braking my brakes go soft and malfunction. It happens daily. Every time I brake and come in contact with any rough surface. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2023 | POWER TRAIN | The transmission failed at under 800 miles on this new vehicle. Each gear shift in the transmission was substantially extended and the vehicle would jerk when sitting into gear. You could hear/feel the engine revving while only accelerating slightly. When entering the highway, the vehicle's extended shift caused a very slow and delayed acceleration, requiring other drivers to change lanes or rapidly slow down to avoid a collision. The Hyundai dealer confirmed the transmission issue, and submitted a warranty claim to Hyundai which was approved. The vehicle is currently pending repair. There were no warning lamps or messages. I have several videos showing the problem, but can not attach them. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
