Jan 2026 EXTERIOR LIGHTING LED headlights from multiple oncoming vehicles have shined very brightly in my eyes that I've almost gone off the road more than a couple times. They don't need to be so bright! And I don't think a lot of drivers who have them really care how it affects other drivers.

Jan 2026 EXTERIOR LIGHTING Headlights are TOO bright and blinding making it difficult to drive safely especially at night. Not kind fo eyes like headlights in the past. Please get rid of these and return to previous ones that allowed for safe and healthy driving.

Jan 2026 EXTERIOR LIGHTING DanvilleVA24543-0062United States1/1/2026"These lights are extremely blinding and have been the specific cause of several near accidents by a friend when I was a passenger. They should be outlawed outright. Period. Jerk drivers nowadays don't bother to dim them either. They should also force manufacturers to put all of them at the same height from the road, most especially those huge pickups that jerks drive to make themselves proud and better than everyone else, that have billion candlepower headlights blasting in your rear view mirrors that blinds everything, the road, your dashboard, your windshield, the interior of your car, as well as in the front of your face. Respectfully submitted, except for the jerk idiots who don't dim their lights even when the low lights are too bright to start with. Dec 2025 EXTERIOR LIGHTING The headlights on this truck are fogging up every time it rains. Ford says it’s “normal”. Fogging of headlights seems like a no brainer safety issue. These are LED headlights so the lights don’t get warm/don’t reduce fogging with heat. Fords technical service bulletin says this is acceptable fogging. I know of no other vehicle that has fogging headlights. This is a known issue for 2024/2025 Ford F150.

Dec 2025 SERVICE BRAKES Since 28 June 2026, there has been an issue with braking system. I called the local Ford dealer twice and was told there has been no reported brake issues with 2024 Ford F-150. The first time this happened, I was driving on a county (dirt road) and I applied the brakes, and the brakes did not work. Thankfully, there was no traffic and I coasted to a stop. The same problem with the brakes has happened four more times.

Dec 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER The rear glass panel of the panoramic sunroof on my 2024 Ford F-150 (approximately 8,800 miles) suddenly and spontaneously shattered while I was driving. There was a single upward-pointing fracture near the front-center of the panel, and the rest of the glass fragmented outward from that point. There was no impact, no debris, no nearby vehicles, and no physical evidence of anything striking the roof or surrounding areas. No objects were found inside the vehicle. The sunroof is available for inspection upon request. This failure created an immediate safety risk. The shattered panel was directly above my two children seated in the rear, and falling glass fragments posed a significant danger of injury. A sudden overhead glass failure also presents a hazard to other drivers if fragments are expelled from the vehicle. There were no signs or symptoms before the breakage. The Ford dealership inspected the vehicle but did not identify any impact damage and did not confirm a cause. The failure has not been reproduced, but I found multiple similar reports from other Ford owners, suggesting this may be consistent with spontaneous internal stress failure of the tempered glass. Given the complete lack of impact evidence and the serious safety risk to occupants and other motorists, I am reporting this as a panoramic sunroof safety defect.

Dec 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Dashboard is occasionally black when the truck is started. The gauges don't work, and an alarm starts ringing. After a short while the gauges start to appear on the screen one at a time. this has happened several times in the few months that I've owned this truck. I see that a recall has been issued for the 2025 and 2026 Model F150's but it is also happening in my 2024 F150 that I bought new in February 2025.

Dec 2025 SUSPENSION The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that soon after purchasing the vehicle, the wrench warning light was displayed on the instrument panel. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V341000 (Suspension); and related the recall to the warning light being illuminated. The contact stated that several appointments were scheduled with the local dealer for the recall repair; however, the dealer failed to service the recall after each visit. The contact was recently informed that the dealer did not have the tool needed to repair the vehicle and was waiting for another dealer to provide the tool for the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 1,200.

Dec 2025 ENGINE My vehicle stalls at red lights in traffic. Warning lights tell me to put it in park and restart the engine. It started around July of 2025 just after a year of owning it. First time to service they could not replicate, but two subsequent visits to the dealer has been replicated repeatedly! They changed battery and GSM but failed to fix the problem. Returned it to me and it stalled repeatedly, as many as 4 times in a 20 minute period. I am terrified I will be injured and at some point I’ll not be able to restart it, one attempt took 4 times to try and restart it. Drivers are angered and honk and yell at me and am afraid I will be a victim of road rage or get hit. Started a case (can provide case number)with Ford back in October to buyback under lemon law. They have refused thus far to move forward, even though it has been in service now for a total of 6 weeks for the same problem and has been replicated by a Ford Master Tech and Ford Engineer. They keep telling me the buyback team is looking into it and they do nothing. Service provider called me earlier today and said they have replicated the stalling several more times but at this time have no fix.

Nov 2025 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE In 2024 Ford introduced a turn detection in the F-150 (and other Ford vehicles). This feature extends the adaptive cruise control which recognizes speed limit signs and dynamically adjusts the speed control to comply with speed limits. This added Turn Detection, detects curves that have the Yellow highway curve warning signs with the small orange suggested speed limit sign below and automatically slows the vehicle down to at or below the suggested corner speed. The vehicle slowly goes through the curve and then rapidly accelerates out of the curve back the set cruise speed. This causes a huge safety issue especially on highways with higher speed limits where the suggested corner speed is substantially below the general flow of traffic. First Example of safety issue: When driving on a highway with a higher speed limit (especially 60mph or higher) with cruise control set for example to 65mph (speed traffic is naturally flowing at), entering a corner with a suggested speed sign of 55mph causes the vehicle to brake unexpectedly bringing the vehicle from 65mph+ to 52mph rapidly. This unexpected braking cause vehicles following to be caught off guard and in multiple cases almost rear end my truck. Second Example of safety issue: When driving through canyon highways in Colorado where almost every corner has a suggested corner speed, the truck is constantly braking hard into corners and rapidly accelerating out of corners. With the corners so close together in these canyon highways it creates a situation where the truck becomes difficult to steer and keep on the road because of the numerous and rapid speed changes which is very dangerous in a canyon environment. This issue has been problematic since I purchased the truck new, this behavior is acknowledged by Ford when I took it into the dealership to get it addressed and they have indicated that the functionality is working correctly and there is nothing they can do to correct it even though it's a safety issue.

Nov 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES The contact owns a 2024 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving on the highway, the hood unexpectedly opened. The instrument cluster was blank, and while it was raining, water entered the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the doors failed to open as needed, and the vehicle was experiencing charging issues, causing the vehicle to fail to charge as needed. The contact deleted the charging time, and the vehicle started to charge and then stopped. The contact stated that vehicle would charge to 74 percent. The contact also stated that the passenger’s seat heater turned on independently. The message "Hands not on the Steering Wheel" was displayed. While driving 20 MPH, the collision avoidance warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure during the initial visit. The vehicle was towed to an unknown local dealer, where it was determined that there was corrosion in the plugs, and the harness was replaced. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the TPMS alerted the driver that the PSI was at 7. The vehicle was taken to a tire center, which was unable to determine the cause of the failure but changed the tire. The contact stated that the taillight sensor had moisture. The manufacturer was contacted regarding a buy back, but the criteria was not met, and no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.

Nov 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The electronic dash flickers black. It comes back on but it is distracting while driving as it draws my attention to the dash instead of the road. I have took it to the dealership with no investigation because it does not happen with their test drive while in their possession. There is no TSB for this issue per the dealership. There should be some investigation as they could look for a loose cable or inquire with the manufacture of the component through Ford. Something is defective...

Oct 2025 SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE I’ve now had two major safety issues with my 2024 Ford F-150 STX. 1. September 2025 – Loss of Acceleration While Driving I was driving north at about 40 mph when my truck suddenly stopped accelerating. It felt like it went into neutral on its own. I pressed the gas and nothing happened — the truck just started coasting. There were no alerts, no warning lights, and no explanation. I had to safely pull off the road while the truck was basically free-rolling. 2. Most Recent Incident – Emergency Brakes Slamming On in an Empty Parking Lot When I was leaving a facility recently, I was driving slowly through an empty Walgreens parking lot — no cars or obstacles anywhere around me. Out of nowhere, the truck’s emergency brakes slammed on extremely hard. It didn’t just happen once — the brakes locked up five times within about a minute while I was in Drive. There were zero warning messages on the dash each time. The jolts were so violent that my son flew forward and hit the seat in front of him. My right leg slammed into the dash, and the impact was so strong I ended up in the ER afterward with severe pain on my right side.

Oct 2025 POWER TRAIN My 10R80 transmission in my F-150 as an absolute mess. Brand new, less than 16k miles. Hard shifting up and down, shift delays, & clunks. The shift delay between gear 1-3 (it likes to skip gear 2) is downright dangerous. Leaving my parking garage at work, while actively slowing down, the truck decides to shift (very much delayed) from gear 1-3, propelling my truck forward and almost striking my parking garage gate. The transmission behavior on this truck is both unacceptable and dangerous. Imagine a city/pedestrian scenario. I took it to the dealer, was told "they could not replicate" and they sent me home with no solution. They said there were no error codes. I was told they "reflashed the transmission." There has been no observable improvement. Ford knows this transmission is an absolute mess and refuses to do right by the customer. They answer only to their real customer, the board of directors.

The contact received a message that parts were available and to contact the dealer to schedule an appointment. The contact arrived for the appointment and was informed that an inspection needed to be performed on the vehicle. After the inspection was performed, the contact was informed that parts remained unavailable and that he would receive a call once parts were available. The contact spoke with another mechanic at the dealer who informed the contact that the inspection was performed to see if the rear axle bolt had fractured and if the bolt was fractured, the dealer would be required to remain at the dealer until the repair parts were available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact attempted to reach the manufacturer but had difficulties with the automated system. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Sep 2025 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE Took my vehicle into a local Ford dealership and told them that there was rattling coming out of the engine bay. Provided the service advisor with multiple videos as well as took him for a drive to show him the sound. Advised that it happens at startup and on deceleration after the turbo has spooled. Technician who worked on it left it out in a hail storm which caused over $8K in damages and then proceeded to tell me that there were rocks in my skid plate which is what caused the rattle. To this day it still is not fixed. Additionally the following TSB's have been identified as a potential rattle point; however, I believe it to be the wastegate.
