| May 2026 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | We bought our 2023 Camry brand new off the lot and had no idea until the first rainstorm we were in that there was an issue with the wiper motor. Anytime there is moderate to hard rainfall and we turn the wipers on high they run at a low speed causing poor to no visibility. We have to pull over every time wait out the rain. We’ve mentioned our concern many times to the dealership where we have our Toyotas serviced and they just tell us they don’t see a recall for this problem. This is incredibly dangerous and hazardous and it needs to be fixed - we just don’t know how to go about it at this point. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I am filing a complaint regarding my 2023 Toyota Camry with 23,375 miles. The vehicle has been diagnosed with an infotainment system failure that presents identical symptoms to an active recall affecting similar vehicles. Toyota has confirmed my VIN is not included in the recall campaign, despite the failure matching the recall description. The dealership has documented the defect, and Toyota approved only 50% goodwill assistance. The system malfunction affects core vehicle functions controlled through the infotainment interface, creating driver distraction and potential safety concerns. I am concerned that vehicles outside the current VIN range are experiencing the same defect and that the recall population may be too narrowly defined. I am requesting review of this issue to determine whether additional vehicles, including mine, should be included in the recall. I have attached the diagnostic invoice for the dealership to confirm no updates or repairs could be performed and a new infotainment system would be required at an out of pocket cost of 50% of $2277.87. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,BACK OVER PREVENTION | I came out to my vehicle and attempted to start it as usual and the EPB would not disengage and I had to have it towed to the dealer. | Jun 2025 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Component(s) Involved: Front and rear subframe/crossmember, driveline (CV axles, differential), stability and traction control system (including yaw sensor, steering angle sensor, and Accessory Gateway ECU). Available for Inspection: Yes. The vehicle is available for inspection, and I have detailed photographs, video, screenshots, diagnostic scan reports, and live data logs documenting the issue. How Safety Was Put at Risk: The vehicle experiences severe vibration, uneven wheel acceleration, and deactivation of traction and stability control. This compromises braking, emergency handling, and overall stability — especially dangerous in rain, snow, or during evasive maneuvers. The alignment of the rear differential and axles is visibly off-center, indicating a shifted or bent subframe. These defects pose a risk of driveline damage or failure while driving. Was the Problem Confirmed by a Service Center? Yes, multiple Toyota dealerships and independent shops confirmed symptoms including vibration, tire wear, and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). However, no dealership has acknowledged or addressed the underlying subframe misalignment or driveline distortion. Some attempted to blame scan tools (Moses), while others dismissed the vehicle as “safe to drive” despite active faults (L&S Toyota) Has It Been Inspected by Manufacturer/Police/Insurance? It has been seen by manufacturer-affiliated dealers and independent mechanics, but not formally by Toyota Corporate or insurance. The prior owner also reported similar problems under warranty, indicating these issues existed before resale. --- Warning Lamps or Symptoms Before Failure: Yes. And no. Issues appeared immediately after purchase and include: “Smart Key Not Detected” error Traction Control, VSC, and ABS warning lights TPMS malfunction warning Sudden clunks from rear suspension Irregular tire wear DTCs like U1117, U0140, U0115 AND MORE indicating network and stability system failures (Email for more.) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed and determined that the lock actuators on the rear doors were inoperable and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 37,500. | Crash: No Fire: No | 37,500 |
| Apr 2025 | POWER TRAIN,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | This 2023 was bought brand new and has been driven for 2.5 years. At just over 60000 miles the transmission failed. I have had this car serviced regularly with no indications or warnings of any problems until it just stopped shifting normally one day. Took it to toyota and they ran a diagnostic indeed stating the transmission has to be replaced entirely. And because I am just over 60000 miles they will not honor a warranty on it. Transmissions should not go out at 62000 miles. This is a defect. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2025 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | The vehicle ADAS system (pre-collision, ABS, RSA, adaptive cruise control) malfunctioned (due to no physical or external fault) and sent messages to be brought to the dealer. Upon being brought to the dealer they’re telling me that the car’s physical battery (low amperage) is responsible for disabling the vehicles factory safety settings. Aside from having an open dispute with this dealer at the moment to cover the problem under my platinum warranty, this is a major defect in Toyota motor corps factory vehicle settings. At the moment the car is a safety liability because of a “battery” | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2025 | SERVICE BRAKES | When pressing the brake pedal a clicking vibrating sound comes from the brake pedal area.
