Mar 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The surround view cameras including the back up camera are not working. My major saftety concern is that when I am backing up I am unable to see what is behind me.The dealer has tried to fix the cameras at least 4 times and has been unable to resolve the issue.

Feb 2023 SUSPENSION I was driving approximately 25-30mph when the passenger rear spring popped off of the vehicle and was completely disengaged from the vehicle. It popped out of the rear of the vehicle into cars behind me. There were no warning lights, no messages, lights, etc... This happened at approximately 4pm 2/21/23. Two components, the spring, and a round plastic piece were retrieved and saved. Vehicle was taken to a dealership as it has less than 7k miles on it. Dealership has not responded or inspected yet. Insurance was notified. I have a rear mounted camera in the vehicle that captured the exact moment of failure and can share that video as well. Dealership was given the video as well.

Feb 2023 AIR BAGS I was in a head on collision with another car. None of my airbags deployed. The fire department and police department were concerned and shocked that they did not deploy. They cut the wiring to the battery for fear it would deploy late and I was injured in the car with a firefighter holding my neck. My car was a total loss.

Feb 2023 SUSPENSION The Quadra-Lift Air Suspension has failed twice while being driven and once during repairs. I have less than 1000 miles on the vehicle and it has spent more time in the shop than on the road. The system has been inspected and worked on by Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Caliber Collision in Austin, TX. USAA Insurance inspected photos only. There was no prior warning light, only a warning notice light after the system failed.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the ECM was reset; however, while driving the failure recurred and the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 197.

Jan 2023 EXTERIOR LIGHTING The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle with the exterior lighting dial setting in the Auto ON position, the rear taillights failed to illuminate. The contact stated that on several occasions while operating the vehicle, other drivers alerted him that the rear taillights were not illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was only present while the Auto ON light dial setting was activated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to identify the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 200.

Oct 2022 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked with her in the front driver's seat, she smelled a burning odor. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact then saw smoke coming from the left edge of the backrest of the driver's seat. The contact put out the smoke with her hand and sustained a burned finger. The contact did not seek medical assistance. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and sent out a fire inspector who diagnosed the vehicle but did not provide any information to the contact. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 311.
