Two components, the spring, and a round plastic piece were retrieved and saved. Vehicle was taken to a dealership as it has less than 7k miles on it. Dealership has not responded or inspected yet. Insurance was notified. I have a rear mounted camera in the vehicle that captured the exact moment of failure and can share that video as well.
