Mar 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM While driving at speeds between 3-70 MPH, the vehicle will intermittently display multiple warning lamps along with having an immediate loss of motive power (go into LIMP mode). When this occurs, the car must be coasted over to the side of the road & restarted typically twice to clear all of the dash alerts. Having a car go into LIMP mode while driving on city streets, highways or interstates puts our family in danger as well as the safety of others on the road near us. This issue has reproduced itself over a dozen times for our family & the service department has not been able to reproduce/confirm when brought in for repair. The service team on the 1st service date found multiple codes for loss of communications. They cleared the codes, found no permanent codes, performed a hard reset on the system & sent the car home. The 2nd service call again showed multiple codes for loss of communications. They were not able to reproduce the issue & sent the car home. The 3rd service call displayed the same codes as before. They updated the ICM software & sent the car home. The 4th service call displayed the same codes. The service team attempted to reproduce the issue by driving the vehicle for ~250 miles unsuccessfully & wanted to send the car home. We disagreed & they mentioned we should open a case with Honda which we did. Several days later Honda & the service team replaced the integrated control unit. It will take much time & many miles before we can be certain the ICM replacement did or did not resolve the issue. The issue 1st occurred near 6,200 in mileage and roughly 4 months after purchase. The car now has over 27,000 miles. As far as warning lamps during an event, multiple pop up that are images/icons as well as text of issues you can scroll through. Battery lamp, vehicle stability assist reduced traction and handling, brake system problem brake performance may be reduced, electric power steering system problem steering assist reduced, etc.

Feb 2025 POWER TRAIN,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES I was driving approximately 60 mph on a local highway when my the check engine light came on. The dashboard then started flashing warning messages for multiple error messages stating that many features were failing such as power steering, acceleration, brakes, lane assist, stability assist, and more. My car then lost power and decelerated, coming to a complete stop in the middle of the highway. I was unable accelerate or steer my vehicle to the side of the road. No one hit me but this could have easily caused an accident where either myself or others were hurt. I turned the car off and when I restarted it, my dashboard message stated that I had a brake system problem and that I should see my dealer. I was able to drive to the dealer where they ran a diagnostic and could not replicate the problem. They only stated it was a loss of communication in the computer but that "it would probably not happen again." They did nothing to identify what could have caused the loss in communication and said if it happened again, to bring the car back. I plan to take it to a certified mechanic to inspect the vehicle but I feel very unsafe driving a car that may lose power.

Feb 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM There has been a recall on my vehicle for almost two years. About every two or three months I get another notification that I need to bring it in to be repaired. No matter which dealership I take it to there are no parts available nor have there been for 18 months. I am told that I will need to wait with no timeline of when the vehicle will be repaired. The vehicle was shifted into park and restarted. The contact was able to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to determine the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The vehicle was previously taken to the same dealer for a routine oil change and recall. The contact traded the vehicle. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 22,000.

Feb 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES See video here: [XXX] Description: Driving at a slow speed, all of a sudden my car went dead. Brakes went out, gas didn't work, and the car went through a series of errors essentially telling me nothing on the car worked. For around 30 seconds to a minute the car was non-responsive. Then eventually power came back and I got an error message telling me to take the car in because of a brake malfunction. This brake message was on the dash until I parked the car again, then there was no error and the car started up and behaved normally. This has happened twice, once in a parking lot, once in a parking garage. Luckily neither time I was headed towards another car, as I would have crashed. Feb 2025 POWER TRAIN,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES The vehicle unexpectedly stalled - lost power while driving and the brake system warning light came on. There were no warning lights, messages or other issues with the vehicle prior to this failure. Was fortunate that the car coasted to a stop on the side of a busy road with no traffic following behind. The vehicle was then towed to a Honda dealership for inspection. Was advised by the service department that there was a software update - unbeknown to us. The error code was cleared and the service department completed the pcm update per Service Bulletin 25-017.

Feb 2025 SERVICE BRAKES The car suddenly lost all acceleration, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree (5 or six lights came on. Check engine, brake problem, battery, low tire sensor ect). Once stop i could not accelerate. I had to turn the car on and off twice to go anywhere. Once back on the brake system light stayed on stating there was a problem with the electronic braking system. If I didn't put my flashers on immediately I would have been rear ended by a truck that slammed it's brakes on behind me.

Feb 2025 SERVICE BRAKES Vehicle has lost power twice: dashboard signals break issue - see dealer. Car totally loses power while driving. Both instances occurred under 40 MPH.Must find a safe place to stop to park and restart car. Cause is unknown. HONDA dealer saw car after 1st incident and could find nothing. Car will again be looked at by HONDA dealer. My safety and others' could easily have been put at risk, especially if this happened at a high speed during heavy traffic.

Feb 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER While driving at moderate speed (between 25 and 35mph), the car's dashboard indicated that The Brake System, Lane Departure, Honda Scene, Electric Motor/power Steering, and several other systems were having issues and I should see the dealer. I would have attempted to record these, but I was at an intersection, trying not to get hit. The battery light, tire pressure light, and another indicator (I cannot recall which one) was on. I was able to stop before entering the intersection. After letting up on the break, I did not move forward. I pressed the gas, and still did not move forward. I powered the car off by pressing the power down button after putting the car into park. Upon restart, the Break System error about the "Break Performance being reduced..." was still there and I was able to make my way into a nearby parking lot. I parked, and restarted the car again. The error was still there, but no more indicator lights were on. Inspecting around the car and under the hood, I didn't see anything that stood out. I restarted the car again, and had no lights, but the break message did appear again before disappearing. I was able to drive back home without further incident.

Feb 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE came to stop sign. As I turned the corner, engine died in the intersection, all warning lights and dashboard warnings came on. I was dead in the intersection. I had to put car into park, turn the car off, turn car back on and then I could start the car and move out of the intersection to the side of the road. All warning lights and dashboard warnings were on. I have pic of warnings from last event (of 4). able to drive car, everything was normal except brake warnings was on the whole trip (30 min) but brakes worked fine. Parked car for 2 hours and when I came out, all warnings were NOT displayed. This has happened at about the following dates and mileage on the car BETWEEN events. Car purchased new 2/25/2023. First event was about 7/16/2023 at about 2994 miles. Second event was about 2/20/2024 at about 4978 miles since first event (7972 total miles). Third event was about 6/20/2024 at about 3885 miles since 2nd event (11857 total miles). Fourth event was on 11/9/2024 at exactly 3970 miles since 3rd event (15827 total miles. Each time, I have taken it into a dealer. They did a software update after 3rd event and after 4th event, replaced ICM module (ignition control module). Honda factory person worked with dealership after 3rd and 4th event. To date, we do not have any evidence that replacing the ICM has fixed the problem but also no evidence it has not fixed the problem as the events seem to happen every 3,000 to 4,000 miles. I have lots of documentation I have sent to Honda and have a case number with them (13997837). I have asked Honda to replace the car. They started the process but just this week in a call, they said they were ending that process for now. Not sure if I was able to ADD copies of my dealership invoices, my own correspondence with Honda. If they are not on this document, call me and I will send them to you or email them to you.

Feb 2025 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Recurring issue where car loses all power to the powertrain, brakes, etc. while driving. Electrical systems inside the car and lights still functions, but complete loss of system to accelerate or keep the car going. After incident, computerized dashboard scrolls through multiple errors and then repeats (I have video). When I turn the car to the off position and then restart, only a single error for the braking system shows on the dash/computer system. If I turn it off again, and then back on, all errors are gone and the car drives "normally." Dealership could not repeat the issue and said computer system did not show any errors, even when I showed them pictures of the errors. First occurrence was 3/6/2024 on freeway during rush hour traffic, ~55mph. Car had 8010 miles on it. Second occurrence was 1/15/2025 on side highway where speed limit was 55mph; I was traveling about 40mph. Third occurrence on 2/7/2025 was just starting from a red light at an intersection and just made it through the intersection when car failed. Taking to dealership again for diagnosis.

Jan 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I am a [XXX]. I contacted Honda customer service to escalate my situation. I have not yet received help from the Winston-Salem Honda dealer as of 9:00 a.m. on 10/18/24. I have complained to the Department of Justice's consumer protection division. I have sent documentation. I reached out on Facebook. I was last contacted by Dallas, even though Mike's name is on my last paperwork. This is suspicious. My rubber on my door has been replaced. My seatbelt was missing a bolt. Tires with regular, correct maintenance from the dealer should last 30,000 miles. Because Honda of Winston-Salem did not follow the schedule, after bringing my car to them many times, I have to replace my four tires at under 22,000 miles. I have lost 30% of my tires' lifespan unnecessarily due to a lack of regular balancing and rotation, despite multiple visits to Honda of Winston-Salem. My last recall letter arrived over 60 days ago. My seatbelt, CVT transmission, and engine have recalls. My window tint has faded, my door is failing, my brakes have issues, there are electrical issues, and the ceiling is sagging. My Hondalink is incorrect. I asked for help with car features and I paid $3000 up front extended warranty, but they refused to assist. Jan 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE I was traveling down road clear day at 50 miles an hour and the car slowed down to 20 miles an hour immediately in seconds like the automatic breaks were applied car would not accelerate for 3/4 of a mile the card just kept slowing down. I was able to pull off road (very dangerous) road was crowded. and I had to go over 2 lanes I shut car off when i restarted I dash said warning Brake System Problem brake performance may be reduced See your dealer. At this time all systems seemed to be operating ok I was able to accelerate. I drove home shut car off started 1 hour later no warring light everything normal. Dec 2024 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Driving on town road up a hill at about 30 mph when I got a brake system warning and the engine shut off and accelerator did not work. I was able glide to the side of the road (steering worked). I turned the car off and on and was able to continue driving to my destination but the same error message was present along with several others (eg TPMS, lane assist, collision mitigation). After being parked for 1 hour, I started car and there were no error messages and car functioned normally. Brought car to dealer (Westbrook CT Honda) and they ran diagnostic codes but found nothing other than what they described as an older voltage flux. They had never heard of a car's engine shutting off with the break system error. Told me that if it happened again to have car towed in so that there would be no code resets. I can only imagine my fear level if this had happened at 65 mph in the middle lane of a highway! I found a on-line forum where others are describing the same thing. Time for a recall?
