| Aug 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | On April 17, 2023 I was on my way home from work and got a message " Battery Saver Mode Activated." I checked the voltage and it was at 11.4. By the time I got home, the voltage had gone down to 10.3. I took the vehicle to the dealership on April 19, 2022 for repair. It was a bad alternator. On June 29, 2023, my family and I were on vacation and at a hotel in North Little Rock, Arkansas. I got up the next morning, 0330, and started the car and I got a message, " Battery Saver Mode Activated." I checked the voltage. It was at 11.3. I had to drive to the nearest truck stop so we would not be stranded on the side of a dark highway. The battery light came on and a message came up something like, "Charging system low. Vehicle could stall anytime." The battery light remained on. We made it to the truck stop, voltage was at 10.1, and I had to call a tow service to take my vehicle and my family to the nearest dealership in Stuttgart, Arkansas. It was another bad alternator and was repaired again and returned to me on August 4, 2023. Both instances, I was on busy highways with no gas stations for miles and not very good cell service. I live in Texas and the weather was hot and I had my son, my granddaughter, and 3 dogs with me. I couldn't get the windows down because the battery was dead. I contacted the manufacture.
