Apr 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE On Friday the 7th of April while driving about 40 miles/hr my car lost power in traffic. I pushed gas pedal all way to floor to no avail. Then I was able to get it to move at about 20m/hr for short distance and it cut out and engine lite on as well as a horrible smell like something was burning. It had to be towed into dealer.

Mar 2023 ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I have experienced power loss soon after I bought the car in Dec 2021. While I was driving the car was going in a constant speed of 20 to 30 mph. However hard I pressed the gas, car felt not responsive. Reported this to the service center and was advised that this may be since car is learning my driving habit. Later in december 2022, received a recall 236 letter from hyundai which was mentioning an issue similar to the one I experienced. Took the car for recall and informed me that the software upgrade is done as per manufacturer recommendations. Now on March 28th 2023 while I took the car out in the morning, there was more smoke than usual. And the same issue happened again. The car was not going beyond 20 to 30 mph for around 6 miles. Reported the same to the nearest service center and booked an appointment after 2 weeks . Also sent a complaint to hyundai motors directly

Mar 2023 VISIBILITY/WIPER The front windshield wiper mechanism failed to work twice during a build up of snow/ice on the windshield. The first incident was while starting up the car in my driveway. I had to scoop out and scrape the snow from around the bottom of the arm of the wipers. After working on it for a couple of minutes, the wipers started working. The second time they completely stopped working was while I was driving on a 45 MPH road. Heavy, wet snow from the roof had slid down onto my windshield. I could not see because the wipers stopped working. I had to pull over to the side and physically scoop out the snow with my hand that was around the wiper arms at the bottom of the windshield, half under the hood. It was extremely difficult to get to it. I had to do this twice to get the wipers to start working again. I saw yesterday that there is a recall for this exact issue on 100,000+ Palisades. I am reporting this to the Hyundai Dealership from which we bought the vehicle last year. There were no warnings, lights, signs to indicate the wiper failure. Crash: No Fire: No Unknown
Mar 2023 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Hi Team, Issue 1: unexpected Acceleration: Recently I found that is there is unexpected additional acceleration when I press gas pedal initially after changing gears from P to D. I am setting up an appointment with dealer to report and investigate this issue. My Car has only around 13000 miles on it. This issue was initially observed when one morning when i headed somewhere there is unexpected acceleration when I slightly press gas pedal. Issue 2: The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) doesn't work properly when set to adaptive cruise control. It doesn't slow down /stop when getting close to cars parked at signal specially as slight curvy roads.

Mar 2023 ENGINE My vehicle has been having intermittent cylinder misfires for about 4-5 months now. Initially, before I knew this was the issue, I didn't think much of it because the shaking that would occur was mild, but as it gradually worsened I knew there was a bigger issue. I will start my car, the check engine light will be on, and the car will shake very hard with acceleration throughout the entire drive. I know that it is a cylinder misfire because I will get an alert on MyHyundai app telling me that a DTC code has been detected, this is the code, "DTC P030100" (the servicing department confirmed this was the misfire code). I have come to learn that the car usually only populates the code when the issue occurs for consecutive trips. As this is an intermittent issue, there are times when I know that the car is misfiring during the drive (it is obvious), but I will not be sent a DTC notification. I have taken my car to the dealership 3 times for this issue with documented DTC codes for each visit. Upon my initial visit to get this seen about, my local Hyundai dealership changed the spark plugs and coil packs in an attempt to fix the issue (although the spark plugs should not usually need replacing at 20,000 miles). It was about 2 days until it started misfiring again. Since then, I have taken it back to the dealership twice because of this unresolved issue, but if the cylinders are not misfiring the day I take it, the issue is dismissed. I truly do not think they know or care to investigate the matter further. I have taken it to the dealership 3 times within the last 3 weeks regarding this issue. I have to imagine this is a safety issue as it can increase the chance of engine failure. Today was the 3rd visit, I picked it up and as I was told, "we saw the DTC code, but the cylinder was not misfiring when we looked at it, so we drove it around a good bit and no issues so the code was cleared".

Jan 2023 POWER TRAIN Gray-Epperson Hyundai, Cleveland TN still responds that there is no remedy. Dealers are unable to provide loaner cars and will not do transmission inspection. They will only update the software which does not ensure that high pressure pump is affected. Waiting for Code P1C2D03 to pop can leave me stranded miles from home and an approved dealership. I will have to fight with Hyundai for tow reimbursement.

Dec 2022 STEERING,SUSPENSION On delivery the vehicle pulled to the left on the highway. Vehicle returned to dealer next day and 4 wheel alignment supposedly done. Car no longer pulled to left. Vehicle seemed very unstable in wet weather but owner assumed it was ok. At 3000 miles owner discovered all 4 tires wearing severely while adjusting tire pressures. Called dealer and dealership wanted a month to get back into service dept. Took vehicle to a local tire dealership for wheel alignment check. Front tires toe was -2 degrees. Rear tires plus 1.7 degrees. Owner parked vehicle when driving in icy weather became too dangerous as vehicle would try to spin out without driver input. Alignment assumed to be off from factory and dealer staff only corrected what they thought was wrong with front tires instead of doing a full re-alignment.
