| Sep 2025 | ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING | See attached document for complaint. I'm writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the excessive delay in resolving the recall issued for my vehicle. While I understand that safety recalls can involve complex logistics, the prolonged timeframe without any clear resolution has created both an inconvenience and a safety risk for me and other vehicle owners affected by the same issue. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2025 | ENGINE | My motor locked up a year ago. Before the recall. At 74k miles. GM stated they did not know why it happened. Although there was 6 of the same trucks in their lot under 20k miles with the same problem. I was forced to pay out of pocket. I notified my GM dealer that my engine was knocking at 15k miles and they did nothing. Now that I have a new engine I have brought it to the dealer 3 times because it is also knocking. They’ve told me they hear it but theirs no code so nothing wrong with it….. GM refused to help me in any way nor will they help me get a reimbursement for their manufacture defective engine that I payed for. I had to take a $10k loan out to get back on the road. Every day that passes I am paying more interest because of GM. They will not even let my bring it in for an inspection and the heavier weight oil (they want me to pay diagnostic fee HA) I don’t want to take legal action but it feels like if I don’t, GM is going to ruin my life. Such a Blatant disregard for the customer. This whole thing has put me in such a terrible financial crisis I’ve been living check to check since this happened. PLEASE HELP ME. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | POWER TRAIN | Transmission fail to shift. Have to stop, restart truck to get it to shift causing safety issue. Warning lighted eventually came on. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | My truck is under the national recall from GMC for the 6.2L engine problems. I even received the recall notice from GMC stating this. This truck has been in and out of the shop for engine problems things I took delivery of it in 2022. The latest was in April of 2025 and while it was in the repair service at the dealership, the national recall came out. During that time the dealership tried to tell me the problem was with my exhaust system so I was not covered under the recall. I knew they were not being truthful so I refused to take possession of the truck as I new it had all the symptoms that GMC was describing in my recall notice. My truck sat at the dealership for almost 5 months and last week they force me to take possession of my truck my taking back my "loaner vehicle". They stated "my truck passed the required inspection", which I knew they were being dishonest, but was forced to take the truck back anyway. Three days after taking possession I was on the interstate doing 60 mph and the engine totally seized up and almost caused an accident from the vehicles behind me running into me because of the sudden decrease in speed. I was able to safely pull over and had to get towed back to the dealership. This incident is beyond just a engine recall now because they new my truck was not safe to drive and forced me to take back my truck. Im just thankful I was driving and not my wife, or having my two grandchildren in the truck with me. To make mtters worse in this scenerio, this truck is actually my replacement truck because my 2021 truck had to be taken back per the Lemon Law in 2022, so this will now be truck #2 being Lemon Law and my original truck loan isnt even paid off. I have all of the various engine repair paperwork on this truck dating back to 2022. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Vehicle showed me error code “ brake failure dont drive over 43mph “ And some other error codes I took the vehicle to the dealer because it was serious They made me sign a diagnostic fee document that i will be responsible for the diagnostic But the issue was just battery needed to be replaced according to the dealer we did the repair at the dealer Battery + hours + diagnostic But the misleading error codes made me take the car to dealer what was unnecessary So please look into it Customer are getting charged for unnecessary repairs because of misleading error | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2025 | STRUCTURE | Recall Number N242490120 was performed in April 2025 at: Rivard Buick GMC, Tampa, Florida, Phone # 813-620-6500 The Grille was inspected and repaired with adhesive to reinforce the plastic tabs to the grille so it would not detach and cause a safety issue when driving. This recall was performed before we purchased the vehicle and we are located in Oklahoma City, OK. The vehicle has been listed for sale at our car dealership in Oklahoma City and had to have multiple Warranty Repairs at GMC/Chevy over the summer. We Sold the vehicle on [XXX] to a customer: [XXX] and he was driving the vehicle and the Grille detached and fell off the vehicle while driving. The Grille hit his hood and windshield and caused damage. He could have had an accident when the grille detached from the front of the vehicle. We dropped the vehicle off at Bob Howard GMC on 8/26/25 and they said since the recall has been performed that it is not covered and nothing they can do about fixing it under Recall or Warranty. We reached out to GMC Customer Service 1800 # and they told us the same thing, and we would have to repair it out of pocket. I find this extremely unprofessional and avoiding taking care of the issue that should have been taken care of the first time. The part is faulty and part of the Recall to be repaired or replaced properly so this hazardous part does not cause a problem while driving and that is exactly what happened even after having the recall taken care of at GMC. We at La Raza Motors Inc. have inspected the vehicle/Grille and upon discovering the previous recall/repair that was performed at Rivard Buick GMC in Tampa, Florida, the Grille was not properly repaired and not up to standard. This part should have been replaced instead of repaired. [XXX] retrieved the broken/detached Grille after it detached to see what had happened and we have pictures. No police report was made at the time of the incident. No lights or warnings were on at the time of the incident. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2025 | ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING | See attached document for complaint. Text from attached document: Unacceptable delays in repair: We have contacted 2 local dealerships, both of which have informed us that the necessary parts are unavaila ble and cannot provide a clear time line for when repairs will be completed. Leesburg Buick GMC Hummer (Country Buick GMC at time of vehicle purchase) Joyce Koons Buick GMC (Service Manager: Michael Nguyen) • Poor communication from GM: We have received no follow-up communication from GM regarding the status of the recall or expected resolution. We have contacted GM twice by phone using the number provided in the recall notice. During the first call, we were transferred to a dealer in Arizona- despite resid ing in Virginia. On our second call, on 8/2, we were informed that our case had been escalated and that we would be contacted within 24-48 hours. As of now, we have not received any return phone call. • Ongoing safety concerns: We are unable to drive the vehicle due to the risk of engine failure, which compromises our safety and that of others on the road. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2025 | ENGINE | I was notified by GMC of recall N25249000 by letter in May 2025. Shortly after I scheduled an appointment with my GM dealer to get the recall repaired but the dealer told me that GM has not told them how to repair the issue. The GM dealer told me they would let me know when GM tells the dealer how to repair the issue, so I could bring the vehicle back to repair the recall. I just received another notice from GMC about the recall today (08/11/2025). It has been roughly 4 months of waiting to get this recall fixed on my vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2025 | ENGINE | The vehicle’s shift control module in the transmission is malfunctioning. The vehicle is shifting hard and having trouble finding the gears. The safety issue is that this is a known GMC transmission malfunction with the risk that the rear wheels can lock up when downshifting in the higher gears. Sudden rear wheels lock up proses a risk to cause an accident on the roadway potentially harming the driver and passengers in the defective vehicle as well as risking other drivers on the road. No warnings were given before the malfunction. The vehicle has been regularly serviced on time and taken care of. The malfunction began and within one week the vehicle progressed to shifting so hard I didn’t feel comfortable driving it especially with my child in tow. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Speed limit on that specific section of the freeway (I80) is 80mph. As I was taking the on-ramp to enter traffic, My GMC started shifted very hard and losing power. The vehicle was sputtering and making strange sounds. I was unable to exceed 60mph due to excessive vibrations/shaking the vehicle. Steering was starting to be difficult at the same time I noticed Oil Pressure Gauge slowly dropping on instrument panel below 25psi. I had to pull over immediately. oil pressure remained lower than normal, verified Oil was filled to manufactures specifications (changed June 30, 2025). Returned the vehicle to my place of residence as safe and slow as I possibly could and parked it as it is a major safety concern. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jul 2025 | POWER TRAIN,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Unloaded my Denali at huge loss with 30,000 miles because gm wouldn’t fix recall after many times in shop, broke down on freeway, and need to travel to Canada on business. Canada won’t allow vehicles with open safety recalls to enter country even though im pretty sure engine was MADE in Canada. Gm corporate office told me there’s nothing they can do. While in shop for 4 days of testing i watched vehicle on app, never started, moved, just put out back for 4 days then told absolutely nothing. Just wanted fair trade in for diesel. Truck looked identical to brand new on lot, 10/10 except engine recall. Gm promised to reimburse rental fees when broke down a week or so, submitted documents to Gm, nothing recieved. Bought ram instead for obvious reasons. Is there a lemon law, class action, agency etc that can help compensate for losses? The public should be warned! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2025 | POWER TRAIN | A 2022 Sierra 1500 had a catastrophic engine failure while driving. The vehicle was unstable and came to rest. The issue has been confirmed base on the recall notice. Customer Service has been contacted on several occasions but the recall is still not opened. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2025 | POWER TRAIN | Purchase a used 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with a 3.0L diesel at around 42,000 miles. Drove it for about 1,500 miles before I started noticing unusual shifting with the transmission which became more noticeable with time. At around 44,000 miles, the truck had two hard shifts going 35-40 MPH on a flat round and put itself into limp mode. Turned off and on the truck multiple times, the engine light always stayed on but the symptoms would come and go. Either way the truck always went back into limp mode after a few miles. I did a quick scan and it came out with a P0700 and P0746 code. I limped it to the dealer and was told that it was a bad valve body which is apparently on back order with no ETA and they can’t tell me when I will get my truck back. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
