Feb 2026 SUSPENSION I am filing a complaint regarding Ford Safety Recall 23S65 and the way Ford Motor Company have handled my vehicle over the past seven months. My truck has been held at the dealership since July 2025, and the recall repair has still not been completed. Despite this extremely long delay, Ford has not issued a stop‑drive order, grounding order, or any owner notification stating that the vehicle is unsafe to operate. The recall bulletin states the half‑shaft remains retained even if the bolt fails, yet the dealership refuses to release my vehicle, citing “liability.” Ford Customer Service has been unable to provide any documentation supporting the dealer’s refusal. Ford updated the dealer‑facing recall bulletin to require replacement of both half‑shafts if one side fails inspection. However, Ford never sent owners an updated recall notice explaining this change, never informed owners that the vehicle must remain at the dealership, and never issued any communication indicating increased safety risk. I, as the owner, received no updated recall letter at all. My family and I have repeatedly asked the dealership and my Ford case representative to replace the broken side and release the truck until parts arrive for the other side. We were told this was “not allowed,” but neither Ford nor the dealer can provide written documentation requiring the vehicle to be held. My case representative has been extremely difficult to reach and has not provided clear or consistent information. This situation has left me without my vehicle for over seven months, with no timeline, no communication, and no justification for the vehicle being held. This appears to violate the intent of federal recall law, which requires timely repairs and prohibits withholding a vehicle without a stop‑drive order. I am requesting NHTSA review Ford’s handling of Recall 23S65, the excessive repair delays, and the lack of owner notification regarding updated repair requirements.

Feb 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I was driving to work early in the morning on [XXX], approximately 6:30 am, when all of suddenly i heard a loud bang and I could no longer accelerate my vehicle. I was fortunate enough to have the time to steer off to the shoulder of the highway. I got out of my vechile and my drive shaft was hanging off, broken and twisted. I called a tow truck and got it told to the Ford dealership in Independence, were i bought my vehicle. After a Ford mechanic inspected my vechile the total cost was 8,500 dollars for the repairs. My vehicle warranty was not able to cover that cost because it was over by 5,000 miles. I tow the vehicle to my house to get the opinions of other mechanics to see if they're able to fix the truck. After the mechanics looked at the damage, they all said that it looked like a fabrication issue or a recall. A drive shaft should not just fall off from a 2022 F-150 truck with the mileage the vehicle has. Also, the Rear ends of trucks usually last at least 300,00 miles, and that part was destroyed in my vehicle. My drive shaft looks like it exploded in a unatual fashion. I have attached photos of the damages of the vehicles to provide a visual image of what the mechanic saw. I purchased this newer model truck, so I would not be in this situation. I have made all my monthly payments on time and have kept up with all the maintenance required. I am currently renting a vehicle from Enterprise to get to work, and I would love to get out of this situation. I was lucky enough for my car insurance company to cover most of the cost and for me not to sustain any injuries. I believe it would have been a different story if it had happened during heavy traffic elsewhere, where I could not pull over on the side of the road, my life could have been seriously at risk. Jan 2026 FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE See attached document for complaint. Almost 5 months ago I received a Safety Recall Notice from Ford about fuel pump failure on certain vehicles including my 2022 F-150. My vehicle suffers from insufficient fuel flow and I'm afraid of losing power or the motor stopping completely at freeway speeds in heavy traffic with little or no shoulder. The clear solution would be to replace the fuel pump. How can Ford be allowed after almost five months to have not fixed the problem? The fuel pump problem is beyond a reasonable amount of time to take corrective action. The local dealership has not seen a Ford remedy for the problem and I've complained twice about the pump on my vehicle. The dealership hopes to see a remedy each month. I would appreciate a response from The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on this very serious safety recall. Almost 5 months surely must be beyond a reasonable time to correct a serious safety issue. Hope to hear from you soon and Thank You in advance.

Jan 2026 SUSPENSION,POWER TRAIN,UNKNOWN OR OTHER Driving on the highway at highway speeds, heard clanking then a loud bang, then vehicle would not longer respond to the accelerator so we coasted onto the median. We had the vehicle towed and found out from a Ford dealer that the rear axle had broken due to Ford's failure to repair under Manufacturer Recall Number23S65 NHTSA Recall Number23V896 and that had caused damage to the rear differential. We were fortunate not to have been in or caused a significant accident. I had the vehicle at a Ford dealer in Illinois in 2024, but the recall was not performed due to lack of parts. This incident happened thereafter, in November of 2025, and the vehicle has been off of the road at a Ford dealer in Indiana since. Same story, no parts. Ford offers no timeline for repair, advising it could be 3 months, could be a year - it is indefinite. I recently was advised that there are 70,000 orders for the parts for this repair, and although I am on the "emergency off road list" that is still 15,000 orders long. Additionally, I had the vehicle in early in my ownership window for lags when the transmission shifted at certain times, it was checked and given the all clear, but - intermittently arose - given Ford representations I ignored it but never felt the delays were safe as it slowed vehicle responsiveness, albeit it slightly. I now see active litigation around these transmission issues in the F-150.

Jan 2026 POWER TRAIN,WHEELS,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I have two recalls that I cannot get any assistance with Recall # 23S65 Rear Axle Bolt Breakage and new recall #25S75 which is Fuel Pump Riser. I have acquired services from four different dealerships and have taken photos and mileage to get repairs completed. I hear clicking noise in my truck and afraid of it causing serious damage and injury along with my fuel pump issue and bad gas mileage and noises when initial cranking my vehicle. I would like to know what dealership in Southwest Louisiana could I bring my vehicle in to resolve these issues that I have been dealing with close to a year. If not, what dealership will provide me courtesy like vehicle rental until completed. I currently of the Bubba Ostalet Ford 246 N. Broadway St. Jennings, La 70546.

The Ford dealers are well aware of this problem and there are many videos out that describe the problem. There is no for warning of a problem.

Jan 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I received a recall on my 2022 ford f150 vehicle stating that the wheel end hub bolt in the rear axle may become loose or break. Continued use of the vehicle can cause damages to other vehicles and/or cause crashes. I tried to have this repaired when I received a recall notice back in November 2025 but they were unable to help. I dropped my vehicle off on 1/6/26 for recall repair and they are telling me there are no parts available and won't get a new update letter until 4th quarter 2026.I did ask about providing a rental in the meantime they immediately denied my request. At this time I do not feel safe removing my vehicle from the lot or driving it. I spoke with Earl at Ford Recall Assistance Center on 1/23/26 (ref call number: [XXX]) . I can not go without a vehicle, this is absolutely unacceptable and I am submitting this complaint and will be moving forward with legal counsel. Jan 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Brought vehicle to shop to have tires rotated, axle bolt fell out after miles of noise. Reported to Ford, deemed drivable. Clicking sound from rear end began in November, brought to dealership. Vehicle deemed undrivable via Ford due to ongoing axle issues and noise coming from axle. Vehicle has been at the Ford dealership since November 12, 2025. Ford has provided a rental which is not a work vehicle. Ford has given me no answers, in fact, the last time I called on 1/16/26, the "advocate" asked me if I'd like to get in touch with the parts department. She said there is no timeline for getting my truck back.

Jan 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM So I was walking back to my truck and could hear a really loud humming/buzzing. As I approached my truck in the parking lot, I realized it was my truck. It was SUPER loud, like the radio was turned all the way up. It had a consistent rhythm to it also. I was wondering if maybe the alarm had tried to go off since I was a QT, but it was just blasting through the internal speakers, nothing over the external speaker. I started it hoping it would stop. It did not, I shut it back off, and restarted it. It was making the super loud noise this entire time. I turned off the radio, turned off the display, disconnected my phone from the connection, and nothing worked. I had to drive home about 15 minutes with it making this horrible and loud pulsating noise the entire time. I parked, turned it off and was going to get tools out of the garage to take off the battery terminal and as I walked back towards it, the noise just stopped. It was so loud, my ears were ringing for a couple of hours afterward. I looked in my ford pass app and it doesn't show any faults or anything. The video/audio does not do it justice for how insanely loud it was..... But you can hear the rhythm that it had. My daughter had a panic attack and ended up vomiting. The vehicle was not on, the phone was not connected as it was not in the truck. There were no warning lights or signs that I could see because it was making the noise as I was approaching the truck. I have a short video of it with the audio noise.
