Aug 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EQUIPMENT 2022 Ford F-150 tremor owner with B&O Unleashed sound system. Yesterday 8/22/2023 when starting my truck I experienced a loud big boom followed by loud static and popping sounds which was varying in pinch and level for all speakers. I could not turn off the audio or turn down the audio. I turned off the truck and it continued to make the same noises for some time before stopping on its own. I had to drive for over 30 minutes with this going on in order to get home. I eventually got back into the truck later on and started the truck with the issue resolved and back to normal operations for now. I have also had multiple issues since the purchase of the truck in July 2022 of when attempting to roll up my automatic windows and they keep reopening on there own. Sometimes it takes two or three tries to keep the window up.

Aug 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,EQUIPMENT Component: Stereo + Speakers I was put at risk because of the extremely loud sound coming from the speakers that I could not control. I was unable to hear traffic around me or concentrate on driving. It startled me so much I almost swerved into traffic. It was inspected by the manufacturer and they performed a reprogramming of the (audio controller?). There were no other warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the problem. It first appeared after owning the vehicle for 6 months. Details of incidents: I have had this happen 6 times: Turn on vehicle. Explosive POP comes from the speakers followed by no sound. Volume controls are unresponsive. No audio plays. After 15-20 seconds, the audio returns and volume controls are responsive again. I have had this happen 2 times: Turn on vehicle. Explosive POP comes from the speakers followed by continual max volume static. Volume controls are unresponsive. Restarting the vehicle does not fix the problem. Static continues for up to 40 minutes. Once vehicle was turned off for more than a few minutes, the problem stopped and audio returned to normal.

Aug 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EQUIPMENT The following occurred in a 2022 Ford F150 Raptor with less than 500 miles. As soon as I put the car in drive and turned out of the parking lot, there was a huge boom that sounded like an explosion. I assumed that something had burst or all of my glass was shattered and the sound of loud crackling noises could be heard coming from the speakers. After the explosion-like sound, I was unable to hear for some time and I nearly went deaf. Regardless of whether I turned the audio on or off, the loud crackling noise would not go away. without delay The service manager afterwards contacted me and told me that the sound system needed to be reconfigured after I drove to the dealer to demonstrate the problem.

Jul 2023 STRUCTURE While driving down interstate Friday, July 28, at approximately 6:15PM in North Augusta, SC, I heard a loud noise and could not identify what had happened. It was raining so I did not notice that the fixed portion of the panoramic sunroof over the back seat was shattered. I did not think to even look back there closely. The next morning I got into vehicle to find glass in back seat and water all over floor and seat in back. The whole panel had shattered.

Jul 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Door latches are inoperable from the inside after slamming the door. Three out of four doors have become inoperable from the inside since new. The problem is repairable however I fear that upon a front impact doors will become inoperable and create confined space entrapment. Incidents were 11/1/2022 (rear passenger), 4/12/2023 (driver's), and 6/15/2023 (rear driver's).

Jul 2023 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Several times the infotainment system specifically the camera system fails to operate. When backing up the camera system is unavailable, the screen just shows the Ford emblem. This condition has happened several times and takes 3-4 minutes to correct or the vehicle must be shut off and restarted to get the system to work. Backing a vehicle of this size without the camera is somewhat difficult. I mentioned it to the dealer, they said Ford is aware of the issue but can't tell me when or if it is going to be corrected. I also took the truck in for an update and told them of an incident that occurred when I got into the truck after it had been sitting for 4-5 hours. When I started the truck an incredibly loud alarm coming from the sound system went off. I sounded like all of the speakers blew but after they checked they hadn't. It's only done that once and the dealer told me my incident was the only one they've heard of. I have not had an accident due to this issue. There have not been any warning lights.

Jul 2023 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE When adaptive cruise control is set, the vehicle thinks there is a crash ahead and applies the brakes when in reality nothing is in front of the vehicle . This causes a very dangerous situation for vehicles behind the truck when it applies emergency braking.

Jul 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Upon entering the Ford f150 vehicle and turning it on there was loud sonic boom noise through the speakers and then ear piercing static. It could not be turned down by the radio controls. Radio was turned off but static still wouldn’t stop. Vehicle was turned off and static still was still going. I waited 15 minutes with the vehicle off and it finally quit. Truck started no problem and static gone. I have read of numerous reports about this same thing with the B&O Unleashed radio system which I have. I have suffered some hearing loss and ringing in my ears even after 2 days. If this had happened on the highway or in traffic it would probably have caused a wreck.

Jul 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM I have had two instances where a loud pop occurs when playing the stereo, and then an even louder static noise begins. The static noise does not stop. The first time, I took the truck to the dealership and they had to disconnect the battery. Approximately 3 months later, the same issue occurred, but now it was accompanied by a burning smell. After the first incident, the dealer repaired (not replaced) the module. But, again, the static noise returned two months later. I now have constant ringing in both ears, which may indicate permanent hearing loss.

Jul 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER My radio/stereo/speakers introduced an extremely loud "pop" noise, or "banging" noise. It was reminiscent to my time overseas in the military and gunfire. It was extremely startling and hurtful to all three passengers in my vehicle, including myself, my spouse, and my 2-year-old child. This is a recurring issue as of now, and many others are complaining about the same issue happening to them.

The contact then received notification that parts were currently available. The dealer was notified, and the contact was informed that unless the windshield wipers had failed, they would not perform the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and confirmed that the recall repair would not be performed unless the windshield wipers became inoperable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Jul 2023 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,EQUIPMENT while driving, with the audio system off, suddenly I heard a loud explosion. next I heard what sounded like class breaking. I thought i was involved in an accident and slammed on my brakes. Realizing I was ok, the next thought that came to mind was that someone shot at me.
