May 2025 STEERING When parking or turning at stop lights periodically my steering wheel will lock up and become extremely hard to turn. I get stuck in the middle of an intersection or a parking lot not being able to turn my wheel. I have had the dealership look at it however they could not recreate the issue. The only warning I can feel is the steering starts to tighten up.

Apr 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I am on my 3rd Fuel Pump, it is currently at the Ford Dealership. My wife was accelerating through an intersection, making a left turn, when the engine shuddered, stalled and quite running. Luckily her momentum was able to get her through the intersection and avoid oncoming traffic. The Dealer has installed the 3rd faulty pump with the previous pump only lasting 3 months. Upon research this is a widespread manufacturing issues with the 2.7 ecoboost. I firmly believe this engine/fuel pump should be recalled due to the frequent malfunctions.

Apr 2025 EXTERIOR LIGHTING Driving in wet sticky snow the unheated LED headlamps collect snow quickly and provide almost zero projection of light forward. When driving in areas without overhead lighting at night this becomes a serious safety concern and may lead to a serious accident when drivers cannot see any possible obstructions in the roadway or accurately see the edge of the road surface. Have been unable to demonstrate this flaw to any dealers due to snow being unpredictable and dealerships being closed at night. I do have dash cam video showing the issue that can be provided for review, video uploaded to youtube here [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Apr 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM On 03/31/25 at approx. 12:45 AM our 2022 Ford Wild Trak was engulfed in fire while parked on our driveway. There were no occupants, and it had last been operated on 3/30/25 at approximately 1030 PM. During its last operation there was nothing abnormal to indicate the potential of a engine fire (no warning lights, messages, unusual smell or odors, performance issues, smoke, or fire). Upon observing the Ford Bronco Wild Trak for the first time the engine compartment was fully engulfed, and it was clear the fire had started in the engine compartment. The flames from the Ford Bronco Wild Trak eventually spread to a second vehicle destroying it down to the frame and causing enough damage to a third vehicle rendering it a total loss. All three vehicles were within 4 feet of our residence and the flames were hot enough it melted the garage door window frames. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak is frequently parked in our garage, and it been we would have lost our home and the lives of all four family member would have been put at risk. Researching Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires, we discovered that Ford Bronco Sports and Ford Escapes both have recalls due to faulty fuel injectors resulting in engine fires. The fuel injectors in Ford Bronco Wild Trak’s are similar to the fuel injectors in both the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes. Due to the similarity between the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes with the Wild Trak fuel Injectors we are asking for the NTSBA to initiate an investigation into Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak can be retained for inspection if requested quickly as it is scheduled to be picked up by our insurance company and then disposed.

This is the vehicle that is marketed and intended to be hosed out with water to clean after off-roading . Feb 2025 SUSPENSION Hazardous Recall Issue Not Being Addressed Short Term With Permanent Safety Solution Many Months Away Creating Liability For Me, Destroying My Property and Putting Myself and Other Motorist In Jeopardy. For the past month fluid from my Ford Bronco has been leaking leaving stains on newly paved driveway. We just received the following recall... REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS MAY EXPERIENCE CORROSION BETWEEN THE EXTERNAL RESERVOIR MOUNTING FLANGE AND THE DAMPER BODY, RESULTING IN POSSIBLE SEPARATION OF THE EXTERNAL RESERVOIR. CUSTOMERS MAY EXPERIENCE... LEAKING FLUID NEAR THE REAR WHEELS PRIOR TO THE DETACHMENT OF AN EXTERNAL RESERVOIR. Safety Risk IF A REAR SHOCK ABSORBER EXTERNAL RESERVOIR SEPARATES FROM THE VEHICLE, IT CAN CREATE A POTENTIAL ROAD HAZARD FOR OTHER ROAD USERS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Even though the notice says the recall resolution is not expected for over 6 months, I was willing to pay the deductible for my Ford Warranty to get the safety issue fixed, even if I never get reimbursed for Ford's vehicle issue. Since this is a safety issue and are fearful of the the reservoir tank separating since our vehicle is already loosing significant fluid from the reservoir. I brought my vehicle into the local Ford dealership and they confirmed the issue with my car is the same regarding the Recall notice. Even with the warranty, Ford has rejected the claim to replace the shock absorbers. So now I just have to wait while it destroys my driveway and hope a detachment doesn't occur and jeopardize either myself or others driving around me. For reference I'm including my warranty claim # that was rejected with Ford - [XXX]. Happy to provide VIN (instructions say not personal info here). Feb 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER The rear backup camera intermittently is black or has the last backup image being shown. I took my Bronco into the Ford dealer where nothing could be found wrong after having my Bronco for two days. I was told if the backup camera malfunctioned happened again to take video and pictures of what happened, then bring into the dealer that day if the dealer was open so they could see if they issue remained. I did and was told by another service representative the service department couldn't take a look at the vehicle today a Friday and to bring it in Monday. When I got back my Bronco and restarted the rear camera was functioning correctly. I do have pictures and video of the last image remaining when I placed my Bronco in reverse. One image on the left side of the IMG_5347.jpeg attached shows the image of the reverse image prior to the current backup image. The right side of the picture shows the actual image in reverse. The image IMG_5348.jpeg shows the mileage and the vehicle in reverse. The pdf documents the Ford dealer service department could not find the issue that happen prior to 09/04/2024 service date. I have a video of trying to use the backup camera with the previous image shown in left side of the screen showing what happens. It doesn't happen all the time. If you turnoff vehicle and restart the issue goes away.

Feb 2025 POWER TRAIN Vehicle was shifted into 4L on a relative flat surface. Feb 2025 STRUCTURE Stitching and seals on the soft top have separated creating concern over large tear that could separate the soft top material from the frame and cause a safety issue. Brought this to the attention of the local dealer and said it would be addressed but they failed to address issue with return communication from dealer. Took to another dealer and Ford refused to repair despite it being approved previously and the stitching separating even further. The vehicle has been well maintained and not abused in any form or fashion. This is a concerning issue

Jan 2025 VISIBILITY/WIPER There is a bulletin that ford sent out that includes wipers intermittently not working properly when detecting rain. The issue happens when the normal steady wiper speed is selected and the issue isn’t resolved until the wipers are turned off and on again then the issue persists. Ford will not cover this issue even with a bulletin for a car 2,000 miles over their warranty. Further more fords extended warranty they offer at their dealerships will not cover this issue as well even though it extends the manufacturer warranty.
