Aug 2025 FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE,BACK OVER PREVENTION The contact owns a 2022 Ford Bronco. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V273000 (Back Over Prevention), 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention), and 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the parts for the recall repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact stated that after the initial start, the back over the prevention camera displayed a black screen until the vehicle was restarted. The failure was intermittent. While driving out of a grocery store parking lot at approximately 5 - 10 MPH and attempting to accelerate into oncoming traffic, the vehicle stalled. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was pushed to a nearby parking lot with the help of the contact's spouse. The contact used a diagnostic machine to perform a diagnostic test on the vehicle. The DTC for a faulty fuel system was retrieved. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who confirmed that parts for the recall repairs were not yet available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issues. The failure mileage was approximately 39,000.

Jul 2025 STRUCTURE,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,VISIBILITY/WIPER The rear hardtop panel on my 2022 Ford Bronco has developed serious cracking and surface separation after only three years of light, garage-kept use. The fiberglass is fracturing near the seams, exposing the underlying material. Water is now visibly collecting in the openings, which will lead to internal moisture intrusion, mold, and eventually corrosion of structural components underneath the hardtop mounting area. This poses a serious long-term safety concern, especially in the event of rear impacts or rollover situations. A Ford dealer inspected the issue and submitted a warranty claim, which was denied. The Ford representative acknowledged the damage but said they could not act without a recall or broader investigation. No warning lights or messages appeared; the issue is external and has progressed gradually. The damage began well before my bumper-to-bumper coverage expired, but has recently worsened. Ford’s own General Service Bulletin GSB 23-7174 lists rear hardtop panel cracking and edge delamination as warrantable conditions. My panel clearly fits those descriptions. Still, I was quoted nearly $10,000 for a full replacement, which is unreasonable. This is not an isolated case. Many 2021–2022 Bronco owners have posted identical problems online. Ford is clearly aware of this issue—which is why they issued that bulletin—but is denying claims unless pressured through complaints. I believe this is a materials or manufacturing defect and ask NHTSA to investigate this clear and ongoing failure.

Jul 2025 SUSPENSION Rear passenger shock was leaking oil around braking system creating burnt oil smell while driving. At this point mileage for warranty was over by 2,000 miles and was not covered by Ford warranty. We had to pay over $900.00 for the replacement from Ford. Fast forward 2 months, on the freeway driving 70 mph, the rear driver’s side shock reservoir detached and almost hit the car behind us. Again, we are paying Ford again for the other shock. This recall really needs to be in forced a lot quicker because of the safety of other drivers.

Jul 2025 SERVICE BRAKES After owning the car for 3 years and two weeks my Check Brake System light went on. I took my car to the dealer and was told that I needed a new brake vacuum line. They replaced it with a different part than what was originally installed, leading me to believe that there is something wrong with the original part. And there is no recall for the original part. And because I was out of the warranty period, I had to pay for the $230 part plus $525 of labor. Total bill was $875 for a car just out of warranty.

Jul 2025 AIR BAGS,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE On June 13, 2025 my 2022 Ford Bronco and was involved in a serious collision in which the airbags did not deploy, the emergency braking and forward collision warning did not activate either. The second vehicle was t-boned at an estimated speed at the point of impact was 45mph. Both vehicles were a total loss. The Bronco suffered a bent frame and the passenger door would not open. The repair estimate was in excess of $36,000. I have reported the concern to Ford Motor Company under case number CXH-04933824-C1C3G9. At the time of the accident, there were no open recalls, warnings or notifications affecting the airbags or other safety systems. Jul 2025 SUSPENSION,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The vehicle currently has three active recalls with each not having a remedy as of to date although one I was notified of 7 months ago. I have already had to have a faulty fuel pump repair within the first month or so of onset of purchase where vehicle just lost power and died on side of the road and had to be towed. Then had to fight the dealership and write complaint to Ford after having defective camshaft which took multiple attempts and documentation for FORD and the dealership to repair properly. Vehicle would shift between 2wd/4wd/AWD randomly while driving. Then I had been notified about a windshield wiper motor recall that just dropped of out the system before attempting repair. So never had that update ran or problem addressed. Now I have three other major safety recalls. Definitely a LEMON. Need Ford to stand behind their vehicle. I pay way too much not be safe. None of these failure or problems provided any prior warming indicators.

May 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Main instrument cluster panel goes completely black. Not able to see what gear vehicle is in, gas miles till empty. Digital speedometer is gone. If a safety warning pops up you cant see it. Started about a month ago and took it in for repair. Ford said it was a module and it was fixed for 2 weeks but it is now doing it again. Dealer is aware of the issue and apparently is happening in other Ford Broncos according to the main Bronco forum.

May 2025 EXTERIOR LIGHTING When turning right, with the turn signal active, the turn signal will over-correct back to neutral and activate the left turn signal. This happens almost every time a sharp right turn is made, such as leaving a parking lot. The signal stalk must then by manually moved back to neutral. This is repeatable and occurs multiple times a week. This creates risk by presenting a false left turn signal to other drivers. This is a common issue on the Bronco, but Ford Motor Company has not provided a fix, TSB, or Recall.

May 2025 STEERING When turning the steering wheel right or left going in a slight decline or incline the wheel seems to lock up or requires a hard pull to move the wheel, its now to the point my wife can no longer drive the car. I have almost run off the road one time and just this morning almost hit my neighbors mail box I am taking the car to the dealer but they say there is no recall, There are certain models of the same year that are being recalled, I think the company, slow in adding models of my type. I have stopped driving the car, Hopefully the dealer will fix it.k to the dealer and Ford and both say this problem is not part of the recall. the car has 27000 miles and is 3 years old.
