| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | 6.2L engine had complete loss of power while traveling down the highway. Vehicle began to drive rough snd dash suddenly said shift to neutral which I did. After shifting back to drive I had to coast to a shoulder and wait for a tow truck. During repairs vehicle was returned after 6 weeks and engine replacement. 24 hours after receiving vehicle I hit the push to start and vehicle was dead. Replaced battery and lights came one. Hit push to start and it killed all power. Towed back to dealer. They checked connections and tightened box on top of battery and returned vehicle. 72 hours later check engine light came on and vehicle went into limp mode. Drove it back to dealer. After a week they located chaffed wiring on the harness leading to transmission. Was told it is a common problem on the 6.2L engines. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2026 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I was driving with trailer attacked coming from [XXX] , in the middle of the overseas highway (a two lane steet) the truck loss power and stalled and would not start. I was only able to move slightly to the side, with half the trailer with boat still sitting in the road. My family was on board and I am alive and an accident didn't happen. I called a tow truck (took an hour to get to me) and charged me $520 for the tow. The tow truck driver said that he had to tow several chevrolet trucks with the same issue and it was a faulty fuel module. I had a mechanic run a diagnostic and the Code P129F commonly indicates a failure of the Fuel Pump Driver Control Module (FPDM) was the one coming out. I have read many customer experiencing the same issue. And in my case my trucks 3 year warranty expired November 2025 only 6 months ago. | May 2026 | POWER TRAIN | Vehicle developed engine ticking/tapping noise followed by rough running and misfire condition. Independent repair facility performed engine teardown and found cylinder 4 exhaust camshaft lobe severely worn/damaged. Repair facility stated the exhaust roller follower/lifter needle bearings failed and fell out, causing the roller to seize and come off position, resulting in improper valve operation and cylinder malfunction. Vehicle lost proper engine performance and required major internal engine repair including camshaft, lifters/lash adjusters, and roller followers. Failure appears consistent with GM Preliminary Information bulletin PIP5847B for 2019–2024 Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 2.7L L3B engines describing exhaust roller follower bearing failure and camshaft damage. Concern is that sudden valvetrain failure could result in loss of power, engine failure, or unsafe driving condition. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | am writing to formally request an investigation and potential recall regarding a serious and increasingly reported issue affecting certain Chevrolet trucks. Numerous owners have experienced a malfunction in which the vehicle fails to properly recognize that it has been placed in park. As a result, the truck may remain running and not fully shut off, even after the driver has exited the vehicle. This presents a concerning safety risk not only to the owner but also to others nearby. This issue is not isolated. A growing number of drivers have shared similar experiences across various social media platforms, demonstrating that this may be a widespread defect rather than individual mechanical failures. Many of these reports include videos and firsthand accounts showing trucks remaining on, displaying incorrect gear status, or failing to power down as expected. The consistency of these reports suggests a systemic problem that warrants immediate attention. The safety implications of this defect are significant. A vehicle that does not properly register being in park can increase the risk of unintended movement, potential rollaways, or prolonged engine operation. This could lead to property damage, injury, or worse, especially in residential or high-traffic areas. Additionally, a truck that remains running unattended raises concerns about theft and unnecessary emissions. Given the potential dangers and the volume of public complaints, I respectfully urge the NHTSA to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter. If a defect is confirmed, I strongly encourage the issuance of a recall to ensure that affected vehicles are properly repaired. Thank you for your time and consideration of this important safety concern. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | POWER TRAIN | Transmission shifts hard with a hesitaion when first taking off. mostly when cold but it is unperdicable some times even when warm. Intermitate shudder at 30 to 50 mph feels like i am running over small even bumps.Could be a safety problem as it never happens at the same times, makes me drive angst and i don't like it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | BACK OVER PREVENTION: WARNINGS | The rear park assist will randomly turn itself off. It happens while just driving down the road and also at times when backing up. | Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The micro switch that tells the truck that it is in park is not working. So when the truck is put in park the display says vehicle not in park and dings. This started at only 48,000 miles intermittently but is doing so constantly now at 53,500 miles and I’m having to buy a part to replace it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ENGINE | My engine shut off while driving down a highway. I had to coast into an uneven, steep ditch. If someone would have been behind me, it could have caused an accident. I have the 6.2 engine and followed the recall instructions. Dealer said motor was fine and around 7,000 miles later it failed. The oil weight change is not fixing these issues. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ENGINE | No warnings, just took it in and failed test. Waiting on engine replacement over two weeks with no idea when itll be taken care of. Only around 8k miles. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ENGINE | A lifter has failed on the driver side of the engine. Dealer is going to replace the bad lifter, but I’m worried about all the metal debris that has been put into the motor, especially after the recall for the bad crankshaft bearings that could cause it to lock up at any time. There was no warnings or check engine light if they’re just had a very bad tick all of a sudden | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Apr 2026 | POWER TRAIN | One day my truck drove perfect to, the next day while driving it starting losing power drastically on the highway and shuts off that i had to dead steer it to the shoulder.”engine power reduced/grinding/knocking sound came on. I brought it to my mechanic and he says change the engine he is seeing a common thing with these 2.7 liter from this truck model, i paid $6,500 to change it and it worked on the second hand motor that was put in. 4k miles later while driving from GA, i heard the same noises and the same message on the dash and the truck shuts off again in the lane and i had to steer it off to the shoulder. I towed it this time to tropical Chevrolet and paid diagnostic fee for them to look and tell me i need another engine that will run me over fourteen thousand dollars with parts and labor. I told them hey i just had this motor changed 4k miles ago can you figure out whats going on this is unsafe, best they could offer me is trade in the vehicle, no discount no recall no nothing. So i refused and towed it back to the mechanic who swapped it, he said i have warranty and he changed it to another motor and charged me $1,000 because the company he got the engine from said the truck overheated so they wont honor my warranty and he had to pay for it out of pocket…. Yeah! Any way i went to pick up the truck with now the 3rd motor in it and on the highway 5 minutes and 2.8 miles later(i have video proof of this) THE SAME THING HAPPENED! On the turnpike the message came up and the speed dropped no power, it didn't shut off this time but i pulled over safely, still no overheating, i made some videos and sent it to the guys at tropical Chevrolet and didn't even get a reply, i called the mechanic and he tells me to drive it back to him, i did, they did some test and cleared the codes, i drove to auto-nation chevrolet but talking with them led no where, i left, while at the gas pump i turned off the truck and it won’t turn back on now, so it’s towed back to the mechanic | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
