| Nov 2024 | SUSPENSION | On several occasions the vehicle experienced the 'death wobble' this is a known issue and was recalled on earlier models but the 2021 has not been recalled. The suspension shakes aggressively out of nowhere at highway speeds. This is extremely dangerous! The entire car shakes and rattles aggressively on the highway, it is so easy to lose control of the vehicle! I could not get it to stop and had to dangerously pull over on the side of the highway! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I purchased my Jeep March 14th 2024 I purchased my Jeep as a buy back that had already been fixed. I purchased an additional 6000 warranty to be double protected. I received a letter from FCA on 10.18.2024 stating the 95B recall letting me know my vehicle can catch on fire at anytime. They also have no fix for this issue. I want them to buy back my jeep due to this extremely dangerous recall and they refuse. I cannot begin to explain how unsafe I feel on a daily basis. This has given me extreme anxiety that I now have to take daily medication for. I think it’s criminal that they will not buy back my jeep! There has to be a class action lawsuit if not I’ll hire my own attorney. This is beyond criminal. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Jeep/Stellantis needs more oversight over their 4XE "Battery Separator" problems. November 22, 2023 (Recall B9A) - Battery Separator Fires September 28, 2024 (Recall 95A/B) - Battery Separator Fires Clearly Stellantis has known about this exact issue for around a year, and likely significantly longer in the lead-up to issuing the original B9A recall. How many cars need to catch fire? How many people should risk injury? How much loss-of use is acceptable for those not able to charge their EVs? Clearly Stellantis is simply struggling to find a way to reduce their liability, by narrowing down the affected vehicles. However after 12-18 months, enough is enough. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | My 20214XE Hybrid from the day I bought it was often saying "electric not available" There was a potential fire recall last winter that took four months to remedy, during that time we were told not to charge it, park in our garage, park near our home/structures or park by other cars. I purchase a hybrid that I'm not able to use as a hybrid. Finally, got the repair in the spring. Literally, two months later, it starts doing all kinds of dangerous things. I would come to a stop or be in the middle of a turn and would have no power whatsoever, gas pedal to the floor and going nowhere and then would lunge forward. Took to the dealer, computer said CRITICAL hybrid battery overheating, the original repair clearly didn't work. Eventually, it was approved for hybrid battery being replaced. All was well until 2 weeks ago when it got "jeep death wobble", violently shaking back and forth at about 60mph. They did repair it but informed us that there is ANOTHER RISK FOR FIRE RECALL, do not charge it or park in garage, etc. etc. I have a vehicle that is a risk for BURNING MY HOUSE DOWN, this is multiple times and unacceptable. I also purchased a hybrid that I am not able to use as a hybrid. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Vehicle stops at low speed and will not move. When placed in park it will not shift back into drive. Hybrid charge lights flashing and several warning lights display on the dash. The dealer is waiting on parts that Jeep says are back ordered indefinitely. Dealership say keep driving it. Jeep is looking for the parts but have not addressed the significant safety risk of shutting down in the roadway and unable to move. I have to shut the vehicle down in the roadway and wait to restart the vehicle to clear the issue. It will not even allow me to pull the emergency transmission release when this condition occurs to move the vehicle out of the roadway. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | My instrument cluster went blank while I was driving on several occasions and I felt very unsafe and had to pull over to safety. Once I shut the vehicle off and restarted it the cluster returned to normal condition but then it happened again. I took it to the Jeep service center and they told me there was no recall 30B on my vehicle. Now what should I do? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | SUSPENSION | Driving on an Interstate Highway in Florida, hit a small "rut" in the roadway at Highway speeds and the front end started shaking "VIOLENTLY" to the point I though the vehicle was going to "Roll Over". I had to slow down, switch from the center lane of a three lane highway crossing over the outside lane then onto the shoulder of the Highway, get the speed down from 70 to 50 mph before the "Violent Shaking" stopped. When speaking with a service center for Jeep I was told this is a "KNOWN ISSUE" with the 2021 Jeep Wrangler but there is no recall for the vehicle year 2021 BUT there were for other vehicle years, which I find UNBELEIVABLE!!!! As a retired Police Officer I will tell you this is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY OR SOMEONE WILL GET KILLED IN A CRASH!!! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | STRUCTURE,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | On 9/29/24 with the rear window removed and the top in a closed position while driving highway speeds, the driver side rear window of my vehicle, without warning, flew off and moments later the rear driver side support flew off. The side windows of the vehicle had previously never been removed. It was a shocking experience that left me quite shaken, yet out of control to mitigate. Fortunately, there were no vehicles immediately behind me taking the impact of flying car parts, however, had there been this could have been deadly. The dealership will not be able to fully access the vehicle until 10/16/24. Upon speaking to the service manager they will take a quick look at it today (9/30) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V720000(ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. VIN tool confirms parts not available. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,EXTERIOR LIGHTING | On October 17th. The vehicle exhibited serious electrical issues when I attempted to start it in my school parking lot. Upon pressing the start button, the car would not start, and all electrical items began malfunctioning. The lights inside and outside the vehicle were flashing, the windshield wipers activated on their own, the horn was beeping intermittently, and the car was emitting alarming noises. The situation escalated when the tow truck driver arrived. He was unable to start the vehicle. Instead, the engine produced a loud revving sound, as if it were about to blow up. This experience was not only frustrating but also alarming, considering the potential safety risks. The dealership said they will get to it as soon as they can, but are 7-10 days booked. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Oct 2024 | STEERING,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL | When driving on highway my car is losing control. This is non-stop every time I hit a bump in the road. The vehicle becomes uncontrollable. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | My instrument panel is not working, it went completely black, then it flashed on and off while driving, now it is completely black again. I can't see how fast i am going can't tell how much gas i have in the tank, and all the warning lights won't work, this caused me to run out of gas on the side of the highway and have to have someone being gas and put in the tank risking getting hit, not to mention it is just unsafe for the instrument panel to not work | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | I would like to express a concern with how Jeep is handing the issue with the hybrid batteries in the Wrangler 4XE. I'm connected with the 4XE across the US and Canada and I am seeing issues with how they are addressing the potential for fires in the batteries. In my case, my Jeep was initially part of the B9A recall but was removed from the list. I was on the 04B recall list and had that update performed. A few months later, my battery triggered the P0BBD code that indicated that I needed a new battery. We have seen this trend in the 4XE community where someone who wasn't on the B9A list ended up having a battery issue. Some of these instances include Jeeps that were on the 04B list but had yet to receive that update because Jeep communicated that it was a "defrost" recall without telling customers that they were receiving the same updates that were included in the B9A. So some people are putting off a very important recall because they believe it is just a defrost recall. After I had my battery replaced, the latest 95B recall was issued. My Jeep is on this recall list even though I just had a new battery installed. It would sure seem like the issue with the separators in the battery would have already been known when my new battery was installed. To me, that is an unsafe mishandling of the situation to put a known faulty battery in during a replacement. I do not feel that Jeep is handing these battery issues well and I believe they need some sort of accountability in place to make sure they are truly resolving the issue and not putting band aids on a major issue. We have tracked some data in the 4XE community and are aware that way more batteries were impacted than Jeep announced would be. As well, many batteries have had to be replaced after the recall. This tell me that either Jeep isn't being very forthcoming with the data or they just don't know the correct method for addressing this matter. We need something done before someone gets hurt or killed. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Vehicle was parked inside my garage charging and there was smoke coming out of the back seat where the Hybrid battery is situated. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Oct 2024 | SUSPENSION | Jeep Death Wobble. While driving at 65 mph on the freeway, I drove over a small bump in the road. My vehicle started to shake uncontrollably. The shaking would not stop until I slowed down to under 30 MPH. This is very unsafe to do while driving on a busy CA freeway. The first time this shaking happened my vehicle had about 26,000 miles. Within the next 1000 miles of driving, the wobble has happened approximately 10 more times, one of which the vehicle went off the road into a ditch. I contacted Jeep and they said they would not fix the problem because the 3-yr/36,000 mile warranty expired. I asked if they were ok with having unsafe vehicles on the road and they said "yes". The front suspension is the system that failed. My safety was at risk when the vehicle was shaiking and went off the road. The safety of other drivers was at risk when I had to slow down to under 30 MPH to get my vehicle to stop shaking. The vehicle was taken to a Jeep dealership for inspection/repair but they would not diagnose the problem without me pre-paying a $250 fee. The vehicle was taken to an independent service center and the problem was confirmed. The vehicle was not inspected byt he manufacturer, police, or insurance. There were no warning lights or symptoms before this problem first appeared. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Beginning September 30th I experienced the Death Wobble while driving on the highway. It cause violent shaking of my vehicle. It stopped when i slowed to about 50 MPH, each subsequent day after that it would start shaking when i reached a speed of over 60 MPH. It is currently with the dealer to be repaired. Issues include: steering shock has air, also there is an updated longer shoulder bolt that holds the dampner that should fix the steering wheel shake. They also discovered the shock absorbers leak shock oil. In addition, I have had to replace the auxiliary battery placed 2x since I have bought and it is already draining to low levels, which will prevent the electronic system to work less than 1 year after replacing the battery last. These all are defects to the design and should be recalled as they are safety issues. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | EQUIPMENT | I plugged in my charger to my Jeep 4xe and I heard a sizzling sound from the wall charger unit and outlet. I immediately disconnected the charger and cut the power to the unit from the breaker box. This was installed in 2021 by a professional electrician. I am grateful I was observant because this would have caused a fire. There was evidence of this starting in the outlet box (black residue). This was. a major near miss safety incident. Hired a professional electrician to repair the charger. The wall charging unit is Jeep branded: HCS-40P Hardwired Electric Vehicle Charging Station, Jeep Branded by Clipper Creek Part number: 0922-00-013 Today there is a note on the MOPAR website: No Longer Stellantis LEV Readiness Compliant Curious...should this unit have been recalled? | Crash: No Fire: Yes | Unknown |

| Oct 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I saw in the news on 9/30/24 that my 2021 Jeep 4XE Wrangler was recalled due to a safety issue (Jeep could catch fire). No information was available that day indicating whether my Jeep was included in the recall. I called my local Jeep dealer and they had no information. I waited for more information to be released on 10/1/24 and saw nothing. I chose to park my Jeep outside and not charge because of what I had heard in the news. I called Mopar on 10/2/24 and was told that the VIN numbers had not been released for the recall but would be released on 10/3/24. I checked my VIN on that day and saw that my vehicle was included in the recall. I called my Jeep service center and was told that they don't have the parts for the recall and they may not be available for months. I asked if I needed to continue to park outside and not charge and was told they don't know anything about that. I called Mopar on 10/4/24 and was told that there is no remedy available and that I do need to park outside and not charge due to fire risk. What if I did not watch the news? What if I did not make these calls? This is safety concern if very alarming to me. I am now stuck with a Jeep that I can no longer charge (which is why I bought it) and I am concerned it could catch on fire and there is no timeline on the fix for this hazardous situation. This is the second recall for a fire hazard for this Jeep. How do I know this time it will be fixed? Thank you for your attention to this frustrating and dangerous situation. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | While driving the vehicle shut off and displayed a warning to check battery charging system. I had to deploy emergency flashers and coast into a gas station parking lot. After parking and I was able to restart vehicle after a couple attempts and it ran normally. It has not happened since but very concerning as I was in a 50 mph area when vehicle shut off and was luckily able to safely find a pull off area. I stopped by the local dealer to report the issue but they saw no outstanding recalls or service bulletins so nothing was done. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Oct 2024 | STEERING,SUSPENSION | I have experience multiple episodes of the "death wobble"that previous 2021 Jeep Wrangler have reported over the past year. The steering wheel starts to wobble at times going over 60mph or hitting a bump. It appears that that the auto maker does not have an answer given the reports I have reviewed by NHTSA. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2024 | SUSPENSION | The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at various speeds over 45 MPH, the vehicle was shaking and vibrating after driving over bumps on the roadway. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The contact stated that the failure had occurred after the dealer installed the manufacturer's lift kit accessory to the vehicle. No additional information was available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 12,980. | Crash: No Fire: No | 12,980 |
