| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The screen between the speedometer and tachometer has blanked out completely no fuel gauge no odometer nothing | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster displayed a blank screen. The dealer was made aware of the failure. The contact was advised to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not associated with a recall related to the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | On 4/28/26, my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited suffered a catastrophic high-voltage system failure, causing the vehicle to completely shut off at highway speeds on a live road. Stuck on the highway for nearly 3 hours at around rush hour blocking one lane of traffic. The dealership (Ourisman Jeep) diagnosed a failed 48V Hybrid Power Pack Unit (Part #68381513AA) under STAR Order #9575**. This sudden loss of power on the highway is a severe safety defect, and the manufacturer is refusing to cover the $3,327.94 repair or the resulting 3-week rental vehicle loss of use." | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | STEERING | Driving downhill at 70mph on highway. crossed from #2 lane to #1 lane. I did not hit any potholes, I believe I just drove over the "bot dots". This started the "death wobble", the uncontrolled oscillations in the front suspension/tires. I had to take my foot off the accelerator and let the vehicle come down to about 35mph before the violent shaking stopped. I could reproduce this on my own by hitting potholes at speeds as low as 60mph. There were no warning lights on the dash before, during or after incident. Suspension was subsequently checked at an independent shop but they saw no "smoking gun" in the front end. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | On April 13, 2026, at approximately 67,312 miles, my vehicle experienced a fuel system failure when the main fuel supply line leading to the high-pressure fuel pump cracked and began actively leaking raw gasoline onto the top of the transmission in the engine compartment. There were no prior dashboard warning lights or error messages; the only symptom leading up to the failure was a extremely strong odor of raw gasoline coming from the engine bay area. I believed this fuel leak created an immediate, severe risk of an engine compartment fire. I immediately brought the vehicle to an authorized factory dealership, where certified technicians acting on behalf of the manufacturer inspected the system, confirmed the active leak emitting raw fuel odors, and successfully removed and replaced the failed supply line to resolve the issue. If needed, the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Furthermore, my vehicle is factory-equipped with the 2.0L Turbo engine, meaning this failure is identical to the documented fire hazard covered under FCA Safety Recall Y10 (NHTSA Campaign 21V-665). Even though my specific production sequence was not actively flagged under the manufacturer's recall lookup system, I believe the component failed in the exact same hazardous manner described in the official recall. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | STEERING | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated while driving at 50 MPH, the vehicle was violently shaking. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred after driving over a bump in the road. The contact stated that the violent shaking felt like a tornado. In addition, the contact stated that the failure was persistent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a failed steering damper. The contact was informed that the steering damper needed to be replaced. The vehicle ws not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 82,000 |
| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The cam bus connector also known as the green star box behind the glove box was defective. I would drive 32-35 miles and my dashboard would light up with 17 codes, abs, 4wd, steering, anti skid, my speed would disappear as well as my mph into three dashes, my check engine light would eliminate as well as service 4wd, pull over to a safe location vechile disabled as the entire jeep slammed itself into park. I can’t imagine what would have happened to me if I didn’t get this resolved and I was going to work driving on the highway doing 55 and this happened and the vehicle slammed itself into park. I would not be here today to tell my story and potentially save other lives as I’m sure this is a known recall and or should be! I called jeep and was notified that this is a known recall but my vin was listed for the recall. So here I am in hopes to get this resolved for all jeeps out there to get this addressed. I would also like to be reimbursed for the parts and labor getting this fixed. I have the video footage of this happening as well and a pic of the cam bus fuse connector showing the burnt electrical components. This will not let me upload a video only photos.. the video is very important in this case and I feel you should have it for this, if so please email me or contact me and I can send it. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Purchased the 2020 Jeep Wranger on January 9, 2025 with less than 50K miles on it and still under warranty. Around March 2020 the instrument panel began to glitch and by April it was completely blank. I had it diagnosed by Eddys Jeep in Wichita Kansas who gave me a price for repair but parts were on back order. I then took it to my mechanic who ordered the parts which have been on order for over a year. We are unable to see the speed, fuel level, back up camera, no radio or phone charging or warnign lights. Dash is completely dark. I would like to replace the vehicle but am unable to get fair market value and do not want to be held liable for selling a lemon. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Instrument cluster went out a month ago on daughter’s jeep. Part has been backordered for a month & now pushed out again by a week. Daughter was driving this am to school and the jeep quick on her on a busy rd and put her at risk to wreck or get hit. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal fuel odor entering the cabin of the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. Upon further inspection, the contact became aware of gasoline leaking from the fuel supply line onto the engine. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact stated that the fuel leak was associated with NHTSA Campaign: 21V665000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 120,000 |
| Apr 2026 | STEERING | My steering wheel locked while driving on the interstate during heavy traffic and almost causing me and my children to wreck. It has now done this while driving slow causing me to almost lose control of my jeep. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Vehicle Information: 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Complaint: I am reporting a safety issue involving my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon related to both the transmission and instrument cluster. In 2025, the transmission failed unexpectedly. The failure affected the vehicle’s ability to operate normally and created a potential safety hazard while driving. The issue required repair and appears consistent with other reported transmission problems in similar vehicles, even though my specific VIN was not included in any recall. In 2026, the instrument cluster failed, mileage at time of failure 108073. This caused loss or malfunction of critical driver information, including speed and warning indicators. This is a serious safety concern because it limits the driver’s ability to monitor vehicle operation and respond to potential hazards. These failures occurred within a year of each other and involve critical vehicle systems. I am aware that similar issues (transmission and instrument cluster failures) have been reported and/or recalled in other 2020 Jeep Wrangler vehicles, but my VIN has not been included. Given that the same components have failed in my vehicle, I believe this indicates a broader defect that may extend beyond the currently identified recall population. Safety Risk: Both failures pose safety risks: •Transmission failure can lead to loss of power or control while driving •Instrument cluster failure prevents the driver from seeing speed, warnings, and other critical information Request: I request that this issue be investigated and that the recall scope be reviewed and potentially expanded to include additional affected vehicles like mine. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the instrument panel was black and failed to operate. The vehicle mileage and oil change intervals were not available due to the failure. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the VIN was not associated with the recall repair. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Instrument cluster completely failed and went black while driving, causing loss of speedometer, fuel gauge, and warning indicators. •Started intermittent, now permanently failed •Mileage (~65,000) •No warning before failure •Occurs every time vehicle is driven •Safety issue: cannot monitor speed or fuel There currently is not a recall for my vin but other vins are covered and get fixed??? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I have owned my 2020 Jeep Wrangler since it was brand new. The middle instrument cluster panel (where it shows miles, fuel gauge, etc) quit working. I have checked fuses, disconnected the battery overnight, and disconnected the auxiliary battery and the instrument cluster is still not working. There is an established recall (30B) for 2018-2024 jeep wranglers for the instrument cluster failing but it doesn't appear my VIN is included. Checking Jeep forums, it appears to be a common issue, but an expensive one to fix. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the instrument panel became inoperable when starting the vehicle. The contact stated that the instrument panel was blank. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 100,000 |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | My daughter was driving the 2020 jeep wrangler we bought her & the instructor cluster panel went blank. We have had the vehicle less than 1yr & it has only 38,000 miles on it. There is a established recall (30B) for 2018-2024 jeep wranglers for the instrument cluster failing but for some reason our vin is not included? Can you help with coverage for this? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | I am the original owner of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. My instrument cluster has completely failed. I know that there is an active recall for this exact issue (30B) but my VIN number is not included. This is clearly a safety defect as my cluster is non-functional, I do not have a speedometer or warning indicators.i have no idea how much or how little gas I have, if my tire pressure is low…I am the original owner, as stated ,and this is not normal wear. I am also aware that there is an open investigation into this recall and I believe my Jeep should be included in the recall. Prior to the cluster going out, there was not any warning. I started the jeep and it was working and as I was driving it went off. It never came back on. We checked connections and fuses, it’s not that. My husband has addressed it with two separate dealerships and was told there was nothing they could do and offered no suggestions. I went today and spoke with a new dealership and they put me in contact with Jeep Customer Care. I have begun the process but will most likely still be paying out of pocket with money, I frankly do not have. This is a safety issue and should be taken care of by Jeep, and is being covered for some by the recall. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ENGINE | WHILE DRIVING ON HWY AT HIGH RATE OF SPEED WHILE IN MODERATE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC- THE ENGINE FAILED, LOCKED UP AND STALLED IN THE FAST LANE- THERMOSTAT OVERHEATED WITHOUT WARNING OR LIGHTS- ENGINE LOST COMPRESSION- SHOULD BE RECALL AS THIS IS PREVALENT IN THIS MODEL ENGINE- 2020 JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA UNLIMITED 4 CYL 2.0 TURBO | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | STEERING | Steering gear box. Very sloppy while driving . not safe | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Instrument Panel Cluster Failure. Black screen. Can’t see MPH, Gas, mileage or any engine functionality. Consistent with NHTSA safety recall. My VIN is not in the recall despite being a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that is listed in the safety recall. Stellantis won’t cover repair and Jeep dealer in Marshfield won’t cover. Potential 6 month fix with no replacement vehicle offered because part hasn’t been in stock. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The instrument panel has suddenly stopped working. Speedometer, Odometer, fuel, nothing displays. There is an active recall for this very issue 24V652000. However, my VIN is reportedly not included and the dealership says its not covered. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | Instrument cluster has gone blank. Unable to see digital speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, current gear, 4WD status, and other items. Dealership said it was not part of recall 24V652000, they stated the only outstanding recall for this vehicle was 25V741000. Vehicle is scheduled to go in for that recall and further diagnosis of the instrument cluster issue. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The instrument cluster no longer displays any information, it is blank. My safety is at risk as I can not see how much gas I have, mileage, oil pressure or any other warnings that are used by the display. Prior to going completely blank intermittently it would show a greenish color. Other Jeep Wranglers have had this problem, but my VIN was not part of the recall. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2026 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle, the instrument panel became inoperable. The contact was unable to view the odometer, fuel level, or speedometer. The warning lights were inoperable. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V652000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); as a possible cause for the failure, however the VIN was not included in the recall. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 67,000 |
