| Oct 2022 | VISIBILITY | Wiper motor is non operational. It has been verified by dealer part is non operational. Non operational wipers put myself and others at risk if there would be visual obscurities that would need to be removed during vehicle operation. The only sign was a loud grinding noise for a few wipes prior to operation ceasing. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | POWER TRAIN | Transmission makes high whining / high pitch noise when accelerating at low speed from 3rd gear all the way to 8th gear (10 speed transmission). It occurs when at low RPM but has also occured when at higher RPM. During this high pitch noise, you can hear from 150ft away and is to the point where if it is constantly happening, windows cannot be down due to piercing noise. Noise can also be heard loud and clear through cab of truck when windows are up. I have real concern this could cause issues down the road on the transmissions longevity and durability. Tis nosie occurs from roughly 15MPH to 55MPH | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | POWER TRAIN,ENGINE | I purchased my 2020 f150 5.0 4x4 in July 2022, I noticed the transmission having a slight change in shifting that that car salesman reassured me that it’s common with this year and model I took his word for it. Since than the truck and the shifting has gotten gradually worse from shifting to drive and into reverse the truck has slammed into gear on 3 occasions, up shift rough as well as down shift. My 2004 f150 has smoother gears and shifted with ease. I’ve contacted Omeara Ford of Thornton,Co where I purchased the truck from and there saying that they would need to get the truck into do a diagnostic and that their 3 months out. This doesn’t sit with me well as I’ve purchased the power train warranty and service contract and now if my truck brakes down I’m responsible?! I need to feel that my 50k truck is going to last and do what I need to do in order to make a living for myself and my family these 10 speed transmission need to be replaced in all the f150 newer models I am looking into the class action lawsuit | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Sep 2022 | SERVICE BRAKES | While approaching an intersection at approximately 40 mph, I attempted to stop my truck for a red stop light. Without warning, my brake pedal went to the floor and my truck did not slow down. Thankfully there was no one in front of me and there was no cross traffic as I rolled through the intersection. As I began to analyze the situation, I started repeatedly pumping my brakes but the pedal kept going to the floor and my truck was not slowing. Thankfully it was an open roadway and I was eventually able to put the truck in neutral and coast to a near stop, at which time I realized that I did have minor braking ability, but only at approximately 10 mph or less. Any faster than that and the pedal would go to the floor. Once stopped in a parking lot, I exited my truck and noticed a large amount of brake fluid beneath it. I immediately called for a tow truck and they towed it to my local dealer. They confirmed that the master cylinder had failed, which also caused the brake booster to fail, resulting in the loss of brake fluid and brake pressure. I should note that while repairing the previously mentioned parts, they also found a hole in the left front brake line, which they also replaced. It is not known if the issues are related. I should also note that in my attached photos, the fluid leaks photos were taken in 2 separate locations because employees of the store requested I moved my truck after I initially stopped. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2022 | VISIBILITY | The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rear windshield shattered and detached after her husband closed the driver's side front door. There was no impact on the rear windshield that could have caused it to shatter. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was waiting for the rear windshield replacement part to be installed on the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 38,000 |
| Aug 2022 | POWER TRAIN | I was on the freeway going 65 mph on California I-80. I had my 2020 Ford F-150 on cruise control, and the transmission was in gear 10. Out of nowhere, the transmission jumped down to 2nd gear, and the truck jerked back instantly. I lost control and had to slam on the brakes and pull over to the side. I turned the truck off, waited 5 mins, and turned it back on. The Ford 10-speed transmission would jump from 2nd gear to 7th gear, then back to 1st gear. I had the truck towed into Frontier Ford in San Jose, CA. They found that the transmission gear blew apart inside the transmission bay. Ford replaced it under warranty; however, the issues are coming back again, harsh shifting, loss of power, and gear slipping. I feel unsafe driving my truck, and Ford keeps telling me nothing is wrong with it, and they can't do anything else. They already replaced the transmission with a brand new one; however, it still has the same issues. What should I do? | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Aug 2022 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | On 8/26/22 I smelled gas after parking 2020 F150 with ~ 33,000 miles. I had filled the tank the previous day ( <20 miles driven since that time). I was in a marina parking lot at that point and dismissed the smell as perhaps someone spilling some fuel from a portable gas tank. Upon arriving home I again smelled a strong odor of gas and noted my fuel gauge registered 3/4 of a tank ( despite driving < 30 miles since refueling). A very brisk gas leak was evident under pressure from a fuel hose fitting. The high pressure stream abated with turning off the engine ( but a slow fuel leak was still notable.) The vehicle was towed to Ravenel Ford in Ravenel, S.C. awaiting inspection/parts. No warning lights. I did note the engine hesitated to start (which it never had done prior) before driving back home from the marina. I do not off-road with the truck and have not scraped any obstacles with the truck. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jul 2022 | POWER TRAIN,SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | I have had problems with the truck since I purchased it. The first week I had it went a trip with my daughter to Oregon. As we were headed back to Montana my crash assist starting going off and there was no other cars or objects around. I took it to Helena, Ford when I got back. The cameras are constantly going out and the crash assist has been failing. My truck will be back in the shop after it gets out of the shop in missoula, Mt. It will be back at Helena Ford for another camera that has gone out which isn’t allowing me to parallel park and may be affecting the crash assist again. My truck is in the shop constantly for the transmission or cameras. I have been constantly telling them my truck is shifting hard. It’s also been having brake problems which they can’t figure out. The brakes have been making a horrible loud sound. I have had transmission problems since I have purchased this. It has been shifting hard and I’ve taken it in for this again and again. They did something each time to the transmission. They also did a recall fix on it. It still continued to shift hard. All information is at Helena Ford, Helena Mt. I had a tow system installed on my truck to tow behind my motor home. I had the system installed by a Professional at Speciality Iron Works in Great Falls, Mt. I had them hook it up to my motorhome and we went through the whole set up according to Fords manual to put it in tow mode to tow behind the motorhome. It said tow mode enabled. When I got to my destination that day it had messed up my transmission and they( Ford Lithia, Missoula, Mt) are saying tow mode was not enabled. Before even looking at my truck they said to be prepared to pay out of pocket because Ford has not been doing anything about these situations. I have a witness that it was in tow mode. He is the manager at the shop that installed my tow system Gary Adams 4064523672. Ford said they couldn’t accept him as a witness because he doesn’t work at a Ford dealership. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2022 | ENGINE | Vehicle was started after sitting for 24 hrs. Turned off the start/stop function and proceeded. Less than a mile into the trip, I attempted a right hand turn. Slowed, made the turn and went to accelerate. The engine stalled. Dash error notice stated "Auto Start/Stop Shift to P, then Restart Engine." Came to a complete stop and restarted. Thankfully, no one was behind me at the time and I wasn't pulling into a stream of traffic. Took to dealer approximately 10 days later. They checked for DTC's.
