Had it shattered while she was driving, it could have caused a major accident. The sliding rails broke and the warranty would not cover it. Insurance would not cover it either and Toyota is quoting us $8,000 to repair. The car accelerated hard, plowing through the garage door, a washer/dryer unit, a storage rack and into the back wall of the garage. The car bounced back but was still accelerating, leaving marks from the tire spinning in the garage. The brakes were ineffective in stopping the vehicle.
