Jan 2026 STEERING The power steering rack and pinion intermittently loses power especially at low speeds or when the vehicle is powered on. It is available for inspection upon request and has been inspected by a certified ram technician. This same issue is described in campaign number 19V812000 published by the nhtsa among other vehicles of this same make and model. There were no prior warnings or indications of the issue. [XXX] is the first time this issue presented but has become a daily occurrence and is the only mode of transportation for a family of four, consisting of two young children under the age of [XXX] . The concern is the safety of traveling with this issue may cause a crash or leave this family stranded due to the failure of the electrical components not allowing the vehicle to reset. Factory reset and software updates have been attempted, however further investigation has led to the diagnosis of internal components shorting out. Jan 2026 SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC,ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC) The contact owns a 2019 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at high speeds, the steering wheel was shaking and the 4WD, ABS, and stability control features were inoperable. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V653000 (Service, Brakes, Hydraulic, Electronic Stability Control (ESC). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,200.

Jan 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The etorque alternator bearing failure locked it up causing the vehicle to die in traffic while attempting to make a left turn. This alternator had been replaced 13 months earlier due to a bearing failure. I have now been waiting 2.5 months for replacement and was told today by Ram dealer that orders are blocked until the end of feb. The last time it failed I found the only one in the state to make the repair but not as lucky this time. 5000 on backorder nationwide with no delivery date. Truck is now useless

Jan 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM December 26, 2025, while driving, the vehicle shut down, and it went into park. After researching the cause of the issue, the RF module had water in it. Additional research indicates the third brake light leaks into the cabin causing water to enter the module causing corrosion and a short. Vehicle was towed to the dealer for repair. Dealer indicated the RF module did fail. They also stated it may be caused by a leaking rear window. The service writer stated they would cover the brake light issue but not the rear window if it caused the problem. Water into the cabin by either area is obviously an electrical problem but also a fire hazard. Any water into a wire harness or component has the potential to short and cause a fire. Before the shutdown, the right front and left rear tire pressure sensors were coming on and off at times. The remote start became non-functional at times.

Jan 2026 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM I bought this truck 11/13/2025 and it has been in the shop since I bought it. It’s been “fixed” 4 times, including replacing the fuel pump. The vehicle is still stalling out and the same check engine code po62A keeps popping up. The engine light has popped up right after I’ve picked it up from the mechanic every time. It’s been to 3 different mechanics and no one can seem to fix the issue. It has become unsafe for me to drive. The dealership is no longer returner my calls or helping with these issues. I’m stuck paying off a vehicle that isn’t properly running.

Dec 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Rear passaenger door handle broke preventing the door from staying closed. A passenger had to sit in the back seat(with seatbelt on) to hold door close inorder to get truck home. When home, I used Cargo Straps and strapped the inside door handles from drivers side to passenger side to keep the door closed. Made dealer aware of issue and they are not able to get me in to fix until Dec 31 (2 weeks from now) only cause I had another previously scheduled appointment on that date for another issue. This same exact problem happend back in Dec 2023 which was fixed by the dealer. It only happens WHEN ITS COLD AND FREEZING out.

Dec 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Dashboard has bubbled. I contacted the dealership because I have an extended warranty with CNA and the claim was denied due to weather/ sun damage. My truck is a 2019 model and should not have this issue. The Service Rep. at the dealership told me he has noticed several dodge vehicles with the same issue. He said the glue that was used was an inferior adhesive. He said they recently repaired a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same problem.

Dec 2025 STEERING 2019 ram 1500 bighorn Power steering is going out intermittently while driving without notice or indication that it's going to happen, and it's throws power steering service light. The behavior matches exactly to the confirmed recall from Dodge "Safety Recall VB8 / NHTSA 19V812 Electric Power Steering Gear", I'm unclear why this vehicle VIN was not part of the recall as the recall description matches exactly in behavior, make, model and year of the truck. It's poses a safety risk to myself and drivers around me when losing control of steering unexpectedly.

Dec 2025 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,WHEELS,ENGINE Have had several issues with this truck and there seems to be a lot of similar issues: 1. Hemi tick - Had to have the exhaust manifolds replaced because they were cracked for no apparent reason... happened right after warranty was up 2. Alternator (etorque) started whining and had to get it replaced after 100k miles gently driven. Could have left me stranded. 3. Visor falling out (Very Dangerous) No t only in my truck, but when I had 2 rentals from dealership, same truck different years (2021 & 2023) they had the same issue. All of these seem to be a widespread issue!

Dec 2025 AIR BAGS,SEAT BELTS I was driving down the road on my way home from work. And without warning the airbags in both front seats and both front seat belts and the top one close or inside the roof all went off at the same time. Causing me to almost wreak my truck. I went off in the ditch then back on the highway before stopping on the opposite side of the road There is no damage to my truck except a busted plastic piece on the running board. But both front seats are ripped open now cause of the airbags going off the seat belts are locked up and the liner in the roof is messed up. And it now says there is something wrong with my traction control

Dec 2025 POWER TRAIN,ENGINE My 2019 RAM 1500 diesel (built 12/12/2019 is included in Recall 23V-411 for tone wheel delamination. My tone wheel has failed (confirmed by technician). Stellantis provides free tone wheel replacement under Recall 73A for 2014 and 2016 models but excludes 2015/2017/2018/2019 models despite having the identical defect from the same supplier. I received only Recall 66A (software) which did not prevent failure. Stellantis now wants me to pay $3,037 to replace the defective part they replace free in other model years. This discriminatory recall remedy is inadequate and unjust.

It will also hard shift to 1st like it’s lagging hard from 2nd or deciding if it wants to shift to neutral. It will happen at random times, in the middle of a turn, middle of an intersection. Dec 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I have a rear window leak that is that is from a manufacturing defect, as described in this TSB: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10247466-9999.pdf I originally took the vehicle into the dealer in advance of my factory extended warranty expiring and they said they would call me back to schedule a fix/replacement. They never did. Now, my extended warranty has expired and when I went back in to schedule, they are saying that the repair will not be covered, despite the TSB and warranty extension being in place because the "XL1" code does not show up in their system. The dealer instructed me to call Stellantis Customer Care, where I was connected with an overseas call center that said they were unable to do anything and that I should return the vehicle to the dealer, who already told me they will not cover the repair. It has been several months of back and forth and I would like to get this corrected before I go through ANOTHER winter season with a leak.

Dec 2025 STEERING,AIR BAGS I have a faulty steering column in my truck that needs to be replaced. This is not normal wear and tear. The truck only has 60k miles on it and is still under warranty till 1/17/26. The steering column is supposed to last the Life of the truck. I brought the truck to dealership (nye) to diagnose the cause of the bad steering column. But instead they tell me they cant tell me the cause of the faulty steering column. Instead I recieve a quote to pay to replace it. I have called and even emailed the manager as he is suppose to be cerified to diagnose the cause or to give his professional opinion but I get no call back or even reply to my emails. This was in an accident before but the insurance says this is not caused by the accident. Id like to mention the airbags didn't deploy when the truck drove into the telephone pole. This is unsafe to drive and needs to be addressed.
