Jul 2024 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE My accord seems to trigger automatic brakes for no reason. I have noticed it happening primarily on freeways and expressways (while traveling at high speed)which is extremely dangerous. There has been only a single instance of this behavior while driving on a 35 MPH posted speed corridor. My latest experience was on 6/29/24 around 10:30 am. Contacted the dealership with the issue. They said they will call back, but haven't heard from them yet.

Jul 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM There has been no incident. Honda is not repairing the recall in a timely manner. I am unable to sell my car due to this recall. It has been 8 months. Do they have an unlimited time?

Jun 2024 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE I was driving about 35 mph with nothing in front of me and suddenly, the “brake” warning came on and the automatic brake engaged. There was a car behind me, but thankfully far enough behind that a rear end collision did not occur. I’m very concerned. I think the system is called CMBS (collision mitigation braking system). I would just as soon not have to have it!

Jun 2024 STRUCTURE Paint on top of the hood is peeling and causing rust. Upon talking to 2 different paint and body shops, I was informed they have had other Honda owners with pearl white paint come in for same issue. I took my car to local Honda dealership and they informed me there is no recall on this paint so they can’t do anything. However, when doing google search there have been numerous issues with Honda paint. As someone who paid thousands of dollars for car, getting maintenance only at Honda dealerships and not getting in any accidents, now I have problem that costs thousands of dollars and there’s no responsibility from manufacturer. Someone needs to address this issue
