| Mar 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | UNKOWN, I was turning a corner going rough 10 mph and the truck shut off completely and on the dash it showed auto start stop restart engine. I took the key out and restarted the truck and it was fine. It scares me obviously that if this happens in a busy intersection will I be able to stop and start it again without getting hit. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Mar 2022 | ENGINE | UNKOWN My truck will lose power when hitting the gas. The rpms' rev up and then after a second it kicks back in. The 10 speed transmission continues to be very jerky and unsmooth. I asked the dealer and was told that's the number 1 complaint but there's nothing they can do about. The loss of power while pushing the gas to go is the biggest safety concern for me. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Feb 2022 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | We were parked in a store parking lot after driving truck for 45 mins. Truck was turned off for 30 mins. Put the key in to start truck and nothing electrical worked. No dash lights, no chiming, no lights, nothing at all electrical worked. Turned key to start and nothing. It was like it was in a sleep mode. After about 5 mins of trying everything electrical and checking battery terminals I tried the radio power on button and everything came back on. It has been fine with no issues for 2 days now. I just hate to have it happen while driving. I called the Ford dealership near me and he they didn't know what it could be. Told me if it happens again to let them know right away. There were no warning lamps, messages or symptons before. I couldn't find anything lose around battery. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Feb 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | My truck rough idles and shakes violently and then stalls and an error comes up in the dash telling me “auto startstop shift to P then restart engine” Has happened numerous times. Truck currently has 44,xxx miles. This is extremely dangerous at any light, turning intersection, or stop sign. I have read many online threads through online forums of this happening in other f150s to no avail from owners and dealers alike. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | POWER TRAIN | The Ford 10R80 Transmission is extremely clunky, unsafe, and unreliable. Me, among tens of thousands of others have the exact same problems with them and Ford ignores and disregards them and the safety hazards they create. Your form does not allow for multiple instances or dates. This is/has been a consistent issue form the purchase of the vehicle, to the new transmission I now have to put into it under 100k miles. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | warning light comes on intermittently . Took to ford dealer and was told aftermarket bug deflecter was causing the issue. My co worker has the same exact vehicle without deflector and has the same problem. My vehicle has only 22000 miles and this has being an ongoing issue from since 2019. They will not honor their warranty and was told to take it back to the ford dealer i bought it from. This is a safety issue because it startles you when it goes off and you are nowhere close to a vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | AIR BAGS,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | on 3/6/2020 I was in a serious car accident in the vehicle. which required surgeries for not only myself but also other drivers on the road. The driver air bags did not deploy, the turck was totaled and had body damage around the entire vehicle. There was a blood stain from my head hitting the driver door window but no air bag deployment. The gas pedal was not attached when reviewing the photos taken. The collision detection did not detect. we have asked Ford Motor Company to come and look at the car as it has been in a protective hold but the response from FMC was that due to covid they would not send anyone and we were left on out own. There were no warning messages, lamps, lights or indicators prior to the collision. | Crash: Yes Fire: No Injuries: 6 Towed Medical attention | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | As I was driving along an outer road I was continuously going a speed of 35mph. I accelerated up to 40mph when my truck slipped into a new gear, causing the truck to remain at the same RPMs but began declining in speed suddenly causing me to almost fall back into the traffic behind me. The road was slightly uphill and was beginning to fall slower than the rest of traffic as my truck would not accelerate. Once I reached the height of the hill the road began downward which my truck began to coast to a stop light. At the stop light I tried restarting my truck but same message followed by the wrench and check engine light came on. My truck was struggling to accelerate and had my maxed out at 10mph on a 55mph road. At the moment the truck slipped gears, a light on my dash came on stating "Drive Mode Unavailable" that prompted me to hit ok on my steering wheel to remove so I could read the digital speedometer. After hitting okay a wrench lit up on my dash as well as my check engine light. After restarting the truck several times after waiting hours to restart, the same prompts lit up. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | Auto startstop activated when stopped at a stoplight. When removing foot from brake pedal to go at the green light, the engine stalled with a warning on the dash to put the vehicle in park and start the vehicle again. This did start the vehicle. This has happened twice in the past month and the last time another vehicle from the rear almost rear ended me since I was parked at a green light. Dealer had worked on it prior to this and I will try again. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | AIR BAGS,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | While driving down a two lane street, a van ran in front of me causing me to T-bone that vehicle. The advance warning did not activate, the brakes did not automatically activate, and worst, the air bag did not deploy causing me some injuries. | Crash: Yes Fire: No Injuries: 2 Towed Medical attention | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | STRUCTURE,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | The touch sensitive door control for the side passenger door intermittently operates. This creates a hazardous situation when trying to enter the vehicle when parked on the street and the vehicle remains locked. An owner has to retreat, find the key fob and unlock the door remotely. The touch system is erratic and does not give any warning when it malfunctions. Same issue with trying to lock the door but not as hazardous since one is moving away from the vehicle. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jan 2022 | SEATS | On 12/06/2021 at approximately 0205, my F150 was rear ended while stop at a light my vehicle was totaled and I noticed the seat back broke and was touching the rear seat and angled to the left. I tried to straighten the seat back up to remove my work bag that was pinned behind it and the seat was locked in place. I researched and found a consumer report article from Ford dated October 2019 that stated the 3rd prong is missing from the seat on the F150’s from 2018-2020 and can cause injuries in a vehicle crash. | Crash: Yes Fire: No Injuries: 1 Towed Medical attention | Unknown |

| Dec 2021 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE | I have had the engine shut off while driving … due to the code auto start stop shift to park… I could’ve been in an accident this is the 4th time this has happened. Fix this issue | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2021 | POWER TRAIN,UNKNOWN OR OTHER | My Ford F-150 is a ten-gear truck. For the past several months, my truck gears don't shift, won't stay in gear, and most recently, won't go into gear i.e. I couldn't put my truck in reverse. As I'm driving, I will experience loud bangs and shudders randomly and without warning. My car has 70k miles on it, has not been in an accident, and has been regularly maintained. I took my card to the Ford dealership to address the issue and was told it had to do with a computer issue. Whatever they did has made it worse. I know there is a class-action lawsuit pending over this very issue in Pennsylvania (I live in California) and my truck is no longer safe to drive, as I fear it will slip into gear and possibly cause an accident. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Dec 2021 | VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL | The vehicle hesitates while speeding up. This hesitation is dangerous in situations like entering and exiting the highway from an off-ramp, where acceleration is necessary to merge with traffic. The vehicle hesitation to accelerate is unpredictable. I tired several times to upload documentation as jpeg files. Each time I get Failed to Upload message. Consumer stated vehicle's hesitation has occurred several times and vehicle has not been repaired. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Nov 2021 | AIR BAGS,SEAT BELTS,SERVICE BRAKES | Rcm has lost communication all fuses are in working order. Pre collision has stopped working my parking brake, hill start assist and seat belt warnings have stopped as well. My truck only has 49000 miles on it and a major component has gone out how could this be my fault. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
