| Sep 2024 | STEERING,POWER TRAIN,SERVICE BRAKES | Was driving and the engine died, lost power steering, lost gauges (No speedometer, No Tachometer, Gauges quite working at all) and lost power brakes. Had to try and pull over and was not able to stop or steer easily. I almost hit several other cars and a guardrail trying to stop and steer to emergency lane. After I got stopped, I was not able to restart my vehicle, the starter just kept running but the engine would not start and gauges didn't work. I had my vehicle towed home and started trying to figure out what happened. Put my code reader on the truck and it showed 12 different codes including ECM/BCM failure. I started checking fuses and relays but everything was good. Finally found the problem at the ECM. There was a wiring harness that was not secured and was rubbing against the frame of the truck. One little yellow wire had rubbed through and shorted out which killed the whole truck. It looks like the manufacturer didn't secure the wiring harness in several spots which allowed the wiring harness to rub on the frame and the mount that holds the ECM. The mount for the ECM has started to rub through a different wiring harness and had started rubbing through wires in that harness but I caught it in time. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Sep 2024 | SUSPENSION | While driving within the neighborhood, the upper control arm ball joint failed and the wheel folded under. After some research, it appears that this truck purchased new from the dealership where it was upfitted with a suspension leveling accessory as shown in the photo. It should have been included in NHTSA Recall 21V-718 as it clearly is premature failure of the OEM upper control arm ball joint due to the dealer installed Suspension Level Kit. Vehicle was purchased new at Vaden Chevrolet in Pooler GA. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2024 | POWER TRAIN | When I started driving, the transmission began to feel loose, like gears weren’t seated all the way. And then it began revving for no reason, and would eventually catch a gear as I let off the gas. I was driving with my kids and I was afraid that the gears would catch at a high rev rate and send me forward into other vehicles or pedestrians so I needed to end my drive asap. I was attempting to turn left at a light and the truck stopped going into any gear and I was stopped in the middle of the road. I had to push my car out of the way with the help of others. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Aug 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | The rear view camera mounted in the tailgate of my truck displays a distorted and fuzzy display on the video display, when in reverse gear. When I select reverse gear and it's at night, the light at the top center of the tailgate, intended to illuminate the tow hitch, is so bright that it bleaches any view from the screen. I'd suggest the light be on a separate switch to be used only for actually hitching to a trailer. The display shows the guiding marks where the truck will go and it is bleached from view also. This is a hazard because the view is so blurry, nothing of value is displayed. I mentioned this to the dealer's service manager, where I purchased this truck, used, and he said that the camera would have to be replace or at least removed from the tailgate and cleaned and resealed. I noticedd this imperfection upon delivery as a used truck and since it's out of the warranty period i will wait to have it repaired. Thank you.. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | STEERING | The power steering light comes off and on and I lost power steering here and there. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Added needed fluids to reservoirs.). Message alert about 15 seconds after. Light stated shut off engine low oil. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | ENGINE | The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to a local dealer where it was confirmed the vehicle was not under recall. | Jul 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE | IT'S BEEN 3 TIMES I HAVE HAD A RECALL ON THE BRAKES AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE DIAGNOSIS THAT RETURNED p25a2 AND THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR FIXING SOMETHING THAT WENT WRONG SINCE MANUFACTURING MY TRUCK ONLY HAS 6,000 MILES IT SKIDS A LOUD SOUND IS HEARD DOWN AND WHEN I BRAKE FOR A LITTLE MORE AND I CRASH 3 TIMES | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | STEERING,SERVICE BRAKES | The brake system went out last month on my vehicle. While driving down a road approximately 35 mph I went to stop the vehicle and realized my brakes went out. I had to continuously pump the brakes to avoid hitting the car in front of me. When I hit the brakes several codes came up on my dashboard. Then the brakes began working again but the lights on the dashboard stayed on so I went to a parts house and they checked the codes. There was a code for the brake sensor. They cleared the codes at the parts house I did not order the sensor because the warning lights went off and I had no more problems with the brakes. Sunday, July 7th, I started the truck in a parking lot. As I was backing out of the parking spot the power steering went out and I almost hit the car parked next to me. Again the dashboard lit up with codes. I had no choice but to drive the truck to my house with no power steering. It was difficult to drive the truck back home and then to the Chevrolet dealership the next morning. I presently have the truck at the Auto nation Chevrolet. When I brought the truck in to the service department they hooked up the scanner to download the codes on the vehicle. Vehicle had several codes for the brake system, Telematics communication, engine control module, power steering control module and Body control module. The service Manager stated that they would need to charge me $200 to diagnosis the problem. They would need to keep the truck there 3-5 days. I am waiting on their diagnosis to determine the problem but I believe there is a safety issue involved with this vehicle and the repairs should be addressed by the manufacturer before someone gets hurt. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | STEERING,SERVICE BRAKES | Complete loss of power assist steering with multiple safety codes causing loss of vehicle control. Was able to pull over in parking lot to get vehicle off the road. Near impossible to steer when incident happened. Frightening experience. As other complaints have noted frame to body ground strap located behind passenger front tire severely corroded and causing loss of ground contact. No service center open so had to be towed home. Vehicle only has 27,000mi. This has been reported frequently and should be a safety recall as very dangerous. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | POWER TRAIN | While operating vehicle in stop and go traffic the transmission downshifts so hard that the rear end locks up. This abruptly stops the vehicle. This happens quite frequently. The vehicle has had multiple warranty "corrections" made to include a new torque converter and flywheel. The issue was not resolved. Appears to be no correction or applicable TSBS that fix the problem more of a bandaid. This is a wide known issue at this point. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2024 | STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The message "Trailer Brake" and another message indicating a power steering failure were displayed. The contact stated that her husband pulled to the side of the road, turned off and restarted the vehicle; however, the failure persisted. The contact's husband was able to drive to the residence by using physical strength to maneuver the steering wheel. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the failure could be related to a corroded ground strap. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 55,000 |
| Jul 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the tailgate emergency release button located inside the cabin was inoperable. Additionally, the contact stated that while pressing the button on the tailgate to open or close the tailgate, the tailgate would slightly open or be closed. The contact stated that the tailgate required to be pushed manually to open as needed or to be closed securely. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the tailgate motor was replaced; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the contact was informed that the tailgate motor needed to be lubricated. The motor was lubricated; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to an unknown recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 10,000 |
