The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. | Jul 2023 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Like to report due to lack of fix a recall as fuel starvation - which have a High pressure Fuel pump defective I ended paid the cost of Filter diesel plus other other damage parts. Now seems to be that I eat the cost of recall. Out the blue now the part is on order. I am very sure the High Pressure Fuel Pump is defectives has damage other components. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | OEM UConnect 8.5" screen delamination resulting in constant screen flashing due to "ghost touches" causing distractions to driver. Issue causes the inability to turn screen off when flashing and changing screens on its own which can be hazardous any time, especially at night; when phone is connected to vehicle bluetooth system, the UConnect screen makes random calls which also distracts driver due to having to end a call on the actual phone, otherwise the person called at random is constantly put on hold and resumed to the point it is impossible to speak (hands-free laws in my city create the necessity to be able to speak via bluetooth) and, in the event an emergency call to 911 has to be made while driving, it does not appear the screen malfunction will allow it; climate randomly switches from heat to cool and continuously adjusts fan speed; equalizer on audio system controls itself and prevents driver from altering; radio station changes constantly and back and forth between AM and FM; inability to change clock if necessary; inability to change screen settings whatsoever. This vehicle may be inspected at any time. Dodge dealership maintenance confirmed it is a known issue and recommends the system be replaces (at my expense), even though this exact issue can be found in online forums, etc. dating back to 2017. There were no warnings, only what looked to be a crack in the screen which was later found to be an air bubble under the lamination that continues to spread. My vehicle is very rarely left parked while uncovered and has only been used per the owner's manual. This issue was also not disclosed when the vehicle was bought. My screen in particular did not start having issues until the end of 2022, at approx. 46,000 miles. The manufacturer's warranty has lapsed and an extended warranty was not purchased. However, had I known this could be an issue the manufacturer would not take responsibility for, I would have purchased an extended warranty. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | AIR BAGS | The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, and a case was filed. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not under recall. The failure mileage was 47,818. | Crash: No Fire: No | 47,818 |
| Jul 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | When driving, the vehicle jerked and stopped working, could not drive and would not respond. I had to coast to the curb as best as possible. Vehicle was towed to preferred independent service center. I had just gotten off the freeway and if this had happened about 2 minutes prior we could have been stopped completely on the freeway. Major safety risk to me and my family. The problem, recall 66A, is currently being repaired, and has been confirmed, by our independent service center. No warnings prior to failure. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jul 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | My truck will randomly apply the front brakes by itself making the truck undrivable. I have to immediately pull over to the shoulder of the road. The front of the truck will shake violently until I pull over. This will happen at all speeds. I have called Chrysler Corp. And the dealer I purchased the truck new. Both representatives indicated they had never heard of this issue and it was isolated to my truck. The only way I am able to continue to drive my truck after this condition happens is , I have to take the negative terminal off the battery and wait for about 20 minutes for the system to reset. From my research many of these issues on the Ram trucks stem from the ABS and HCU module. My truck only has 27,000 miles. This condition had been going on for over a year now. My wife refuses to drive the truck anymore. Thank you for all your help | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2023 | ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | More than 1 year after a safety recall, there is still no remedy available. This is unacceptable for a safety issue. Now there is a new recall for the same issue that was previously recalled. Something seems fishy. Is my truck safe to drive? Buy it back if it can't be fixed. Seems reasonable to me. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

Upon having the code read it was P-0336 which is for a crankcase speed sensor. I was nearly rear ended by a tractor trailer due to the loss of power. Stellantis was unable to help with answers as far as the recall information regarding recall 66A which is to be an extension of recall 20V-475. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Jun 2023 | FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM | Back March 2023 making a stop traffic the truck engine started stalling and lost power then suddenly accelerated. The same exact thing happens on 6/5/23. This vehicle has a recall for fuel starvation but nothing isn’t fixed - no remedy is offered- I don understand why a safety recall is issued my life is in danger along with any occupant passengers . If vehicle has a safety recall is for a reason enforce a remedy. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| May 2023 | ENGINE | I bought this vehicle around 2 years ago from a local dealer. A week or so after purchase, I heard a small rattling sound at start up and a continuous ticking sound whle running. My sales rep said "that is normal, mine does it too and its nothing to worry about." 5 days ago, the sound at start was way louder than after purchase and lasted a bit longer. My extensive research, including talking to a Dodge service tech, it is broken bolts in the manifold due to excessive heat and warping of the manifold. Apparently this issue has been going on for years and has affected many Dodge/Ram owners. My vehicle is 3 months past its 5 year warranty and now I am left holding the bag to repair something that should be covered under a recall. This "ticking" and "rattling" sound is actually an exhaust leak and is potentially deathly dangerous to anyone occupying a vehicle (while its running) with this issue. Current possible cost for replacement of parts would be around $750 per side. Plus, with the install of all new parts, this even would occur again, at some point, resulting in getting it repaired again, and again, and again. I think, as do many others, that the Mopar company shouldbe liable for these repairs with a permanent fix so it doesnt continue happening. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The top third of the U Connect 8.4 screen is delaminating causing distracting information to appear on screen. Keeps asking if I want to adjust the clock. Also makes random radio station changes and picks random GPS points while driving. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The infotainment system randomly starts changing stations rapidly. After resetting the system by disconnecting the battery, it now has the "would you like to change your clock settings" dialogue box pop up and no matter what you do, it pops right back up and you cannot control anything. I believe this is dangerous as it is distracting, and more importantly, there are many systems in this vehicle controlled by the touch screen. The HVAC control buttons are limited and when the touch screen is acting up, you only have limited choices which can be distracting in cool and damp weather when you need to keep you windows clear. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2023 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,BACK OVER PREVENTION | The contact owns a 2018 Ram 1500. The contact stated while his vehicle was being jump started, several attempts were needed to start the vehicle. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 49,000 |
