BOTH THE OWNER & NISSAN FACTORY REP.DROVE THE CAR AND BOTH AGREED THAT I HAD VIBRATIONS IN THE STEERING WHEEL, ETC. WHY? THEIR ANSWERS WERE: "IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE TRANSMISSION." IF NISSAN KNOWS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, WHY ARE THEY CONTINUING TO SELL THESE CARS WITH A KNOWN ENGINEERING DESIGNED-IN DEFECT? I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK BUT LEBRUN WON'T BECAUSE HE DIDN'T BUILD THE CAR. AND NISSAN? THEY TOO REFUSED & HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES AND PROMISES. I FIND THAT THE DEALERSHIP OWNER, NISSAN & THE FACTORY REP. TO BE CORRUPT AND UNETHICAL IN REFUSING TO LIVE UP TO THEIR PUBLISHED WARRANTIES AND PROMISES. THE FACT THAT NISSAN & LEBRUN HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THESE SEVERE VIBRATION PROBLEMS FOR YEARS & THE FACTORY REP. HAD "DETERMINED MY VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGNED" IS UNTRUE. NISSAN HAS REFUSED TO FIX THIS ENGINEERING DESIGNED-IN FLAW IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE & BORDERS ON THE CRIMINAL, ESPECIALLY FOR THE FACT THAT THEY'RE STILL THERE IN THE 2019 AND 2020 ROGUE MODELS. I DROVE A 2020 ROGUE WITH THE OWNER AND THE VIBRATIONS ARE STILL THERE. ALSO, THIS 2018 ROGUE HAS VARIOUS ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS, SUCH AS: IT KEPT, & STILL DOES AT TIMES, CHANGE MY SETTINGS FROM FM TO CD, XMRADIO TO AM, ETC.; KEEPS BLOWING A 20 AMP FUSE WHEN I TRIED TO INSTALL A MULTI-OUTLET DEVICE & PLUGGED IN A DASH CAM & A RADAR DETECTOR. ALSO, IF I JUST PLUG IN MY RADAR DETECTOR, SHUT OFF THE IGNITION & OPEN ANY DOOR, THE RADAR DETECTOR TURNS ON. ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS GALORE.

Dec 2019 SERVICE BRAKES AUTOMATIC FRONT BRAKING (AFB) SYSTEM CONTINUES TO INAPPROPRIATELY ENGAGE EVEN AFTER RECALL UPDATES WERE COMPLETED AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP. WHEN DRIVING THE CAR WILL, WITHOUT JUSTIFICATION (IE THERE ARE NO OBSTICALS IN FRONT OF CAR) AUTOMATICALLY APPLY THE BREAKS. AFTER THE UPDATE IT HAPPENED TO ME WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN, MY TODDLER WAS IN THE CAR, LUCKILY I DID NOT LOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND NISSAN HAS FAILED TO CORRECT IT. NISSAN SAID AFB CANNOT BE PERMANENTLY DISABLED AND SAID IT IS NOW DRIVER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO MANUALLY TURN IT OFF EACH TIME THE CAR IS STARTED.

DEAD RAT, THE BRAKES ALSO SQUEAKED UNUSUALLY AT TIMES, THEY ALSO MENTIONED THIS WAS NORMAL AND BRAKES WERE NEW, WITH A LOT OF COMPLAINTS AND MIS INFORMED INFORMATION I ENDED UP BEING STUCK BUYING THIS CAR, I WOULD CONSIDER THIS A LEMON ISSUE BUT THE HEAD DEPARTMENT OF ENTERPRISE WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR TOOK CAR AND REINSURED UIT WAS ALL GOOD TO GO AND FIXED , I ALSO BOUGHT EXTRA WARRANTY, BUT SHORTLY AFTER DOWN THE ROAD I HAVE HAD UNUSUAL EXPERIENCES WITH MY CAR BRAKING IN TRAFFIC AND THEN RELEASING VERY DISRUPTIVELY WHICH HAD EVEN CAUSED ME TO LOSE HANDLE ALONG WITH MY NEW BORN, VARIOUS OF TIMES I HAD CONCERNS U TIL ONE DAY I WAS SLOWING DOWN AT A LIGHT THE CAR BRAKES VERY DISRUPTIVELY THE CAR BEHIND ME A MOTHER IN HER PRIUS WITH HER TWO CHILDREN SLAMMED INTO MY CAR , THIS BRAKE SYSTEM IS NOT SAFE. WE WERE DRIVING STRAIGHT, IT WAS DARK WITH NO STREET LIGHTS AND NO OTHER CARS OR OBJECTS ON THE ROAD. IT SLAMS ON THE BAKES SO FAST THAT THE CAR ALMOST DIES AND TURNS OFF. NISSAN RECENTLY SENT US A LETTER TELLING US TO COME IN FOR AN 'UPDATE'. THIS IS SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE AND WILL LIKELY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. FIRST, BROUGHT THE VEHICLE TO BE FIXED AROUND TWO MONTHS AGO AFTER MULTIPLE BREAKING ATTEMPTS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. ALMOST CAUSED A CRASH BECAUSE MY CAR STARTED BREAK CHECKING PEOPLE BEHIND ME. THE BREAKS KICK ON FOR AROUND A SECOND, THEN KICK OFF. THIS HAPPENS AROUND TWICE, WHICH THEN THE CAR SAYS THE FRONT RADAR IS BROKEN AND TURNS THE SYSTEM OFF. AFTER BRINGING IT IN THE FIRST TIME, SAME RESULTS HAPPENED. BROUGHT IT IN A SECOND TIME EARLIER THIS WEEK. TECH CONFIRMED SYSTEM ERRORS WITH "C1A16 CODES". DROVE IT AFTER BRINGING IT IN A SECOND TIME, AND SAME PROBLEM IS OCCURRING.

Nov 2019 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2018 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE BRAKING SYSTEM ACTIVATED AND THE VEHICLE CAME TO AN ABRUPT COMPLETE STOP. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED PROBLEMS WITH HER BACK AND NECK DUE TO THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STOPPING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED GOING TO AN URGENT CARE SEVERAL DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT AND WAS PROVIDED WITH MEDICATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NAPLETON ST LOUIS NISSAN (10964 PAGE AVE, ST. LOUIS, MO 63132, (314) 269-1682), BUT NO FAILURE WAS FOUND. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD CONDUCT AN INVESTIGATION THAT WOULD TAKE SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS. THE WARRANTY HAD A SMALL ALLOTTED TIME OF FIVE DAYS FOR A LOANER VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WHILE THE CONTACT AWAITED THE RESULTS OF THE INVESTIGATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,301.

THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BRAKES ENGAGED FOR APPROXIMATELY THREE SECONDS AND RETURNED TO NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO NEWTON NISSAN SOUTH (2801 US HIGHWAY 231 NORTH, SHELBYVILLE, TN 37160, (931) 536-3118) TO BE DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DETERMINED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE CONTACT WAS UNAWARE OF WHAT WAS REPLACED. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVEN ADDITIONAL TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 38022881. THE MANUFACTURER OPENED AN INVESTIGATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 2,000.

IT WAS HAPPENING EVERY TIME I BACKED UP. EVENTUALLY THE LIVE VIEW WOULD COME BACK, BUT I COULD NEVER TRUST THE SCREEN OR THE SENSORS WHILE BACKING UP. I RECENTLY TOOK IT INTO A DEALERSHIP FOR A DIAGNOSTIC, AND THEY SAID THERE IS AN UPDATE AVAILABLE TO THE SOFTWARE TO FIX IT. I WOULD GUESS MY CAR IS NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM AND WANT TO REPORT THIS SO THAT IF OTHERS ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM, THE SOFTWARE UPDATE CAN BE COVERED BY NISSAN. SIMILAR NISSAN/INFINITI MODELS ARE DOING A RECALL FOR A SOFTWARE UPDATE TO THE CAMERAS; I'M NOT SURE WHY MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THAT CAMPAIGN.

THE RATE OF SPEED WAS APPROXIMATELY 15MPH AND CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO IMMEDIATELY STOP. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING DUE TO THE HIGH POSSIBILITY OF SERIOUS INJURY IF THE MALFUNCTION WERE TO OCCUR AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED.

IT DID THIS ON IT'S OWN IN CLEAR WEATHER WHILE IN MOTION. IT APPEARED THE CAR REACTED ON IT'S OWN TO THE SHADOW OF THE HIGHWAY I WAS ABOUT TO DRIVE UNDER. THERE WAS NO CAR IN FRONT OF ME AND I IN FACT WAS ABOUT TO ACCELERATE TO MAKE A LEFT TURN AFTER GOING UNDER THE OVERPASS. THE CAR BRAKES SUDDENLY WHEN GOING INTO THE SHADOW OF THE OVERPASS. IT STARTLED ME AND MY AUTOMATIC REACTION WAS TO SWITCH MY FOOT TO THE BRAKE AND WHEN I DID I COULD FEEL THE BRAKE WAS ALREADY DEPRESSED ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR. THE CAR BRIEFLY STOPPED AND THEN THE BRAKE LET UP AND I THEN COULD CONTINUE DRIVING A COUPLE SECONDS LATER. IT WAS SCARY AND DANGEROUS. SOMEONE COULD'VE BEEN BEHIND ME AND HIT ME. I WAS RATTLED FOR 30 MINUTES AFTERWARD. I AM UNSURE OF THE EXACT DATE THIS OCCURRED BUT I GAVE THE BEST ESTIMATE I COULD DOWN BELOW.

TOOK IT DIRECT TO THE DEALERSHIP, JUST TO FIND OUT ALL THEY DID WAS JUST REPROGRAMMED MY CAR TO GET THE LIGHTS OFF. AT THIS POINT AND TIME, THE SER VICE DEPARTMENT WAS CLOSED, SO I RETURNED THE NEXT DAY, WAITED FOR 4 HOURS JUST TO FIND OUT 'IT'S GOING TO COST ME $300-500 AND 2 HOURS ' TO REPAIR BUT THEY DON'T HAVE THE PART. ALL OF THIS STARTED ON SATURDAY 11/09/2019.

I WAS TRAVELING AT 45 MPH ON A SUNNY DAY WITH NO CARS AROUND MY VEHICLE AND NOTHING IN FRONT OF MY VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUES AND TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DONE. THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO TURN THE FEATURE OFF. THE IS NO SWITCH SO EVERYTIME I START THE CAR I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE MENU, FIND THE SETTING AND TOGGLE IT OFF.

Nov 2019 UNKNOWN OR OTHER ABOUT 2 MONTHS AFTER FIXING A RECALL ON THE AEB SYSTEM ON MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE, MY CAR'S AEB SYSTEM ENGAGED WHILE DRIVING 75 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE CAUSING MY VEHICLE'S ANTILOCK BRAKES TO KICK ON AND BEEP A WARNING TO SLOW DOWN BECAUSE MY CAR'S SENSOR BELIEVED SOMETHING WAS IN FRONT OF ME. THERE WAS NOTHING IN FRONT OF ME FOR MILES AND FORTUNATELY, NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME TO SLAM IN TO ME. MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A FAULTY ICC SENSOR, WHICH WORKS COMPLEMENTARY WITH THE VEHICLE'S AEB SYSTEM. FORTUNATELY, IT WILL ONLY COST ME THE $100 DEDUCTIBLE ON MY EXTENDED WARRANTY BECAUSE AT 52K MILES, I'M OVER WARRANTY, BUT NISSAN NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM TO BE A SAFETY ISSUE AND FIX REGARDLESS OF THE MILEAGE ON EACH VEHICLE.

MY CAR BROKE ON THE FREEWAY GOING 70 MPH TO 50 MPH. LUCKILY NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME. THAT HAPPENED IN MAY 2019. I WAS TERRIFIED TO DRIVE AND USED MY HUSBAND'S CAR. I LOOKED UP AND THEY SAID IF ABS LIGHTS YOU SHOULD NOT DRIVE AND HAVE IT TOWED BECAUSE IT COULD START A FIRE! THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND I WAS ON A SIDE STREET GOING 40 MPH AND IT BRAKED TO 30 AND THERE WASN'T ANYTHING IN FRONT OF ME. I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE THIS CAR AT ALL. I WANT THEM TO JUST TAKE IT BACK. I DRIVE AS A HOME CARE NURSE FOR A LIVING AND IT IS NOT SAFE WHEN DRIVING IS A BIG PART OF MY JOB. I HAVE BROUGHT THER CAR IN 4 TIMES! NOT SAFE!!!!

Nov 2019 VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES THE AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM CAME ON BRIEFLY ABOUT A WEEK AGO FOR NO REASON, WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH ON A QUIET CITY STREET. THE SENSOR LIGHT CAME ON AS WELL. SINCE THEN, IT HAS HAPPENED 4 MORE TIMES, BUT MUCH WORSE. EACH TIME I WAS IN MOTION, AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, BUT NOT EXCEEDING 45 MPH. YESTERDAY I WAS GOING UP A SLIGHT INCLINE AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH ON A STREET BY MY HOUSE, AND THE AEB CAME ON HARD. THERE WAS NOTHING IN FRONT OF ME. VISIBILITY WAS PERFECT. ONLY 2 BLOCKS LATER, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THIS TIME IT CAUSED ME TO HIT THE STEERING WHEEL WITH MY FOREARM, WHICH IS NOW SORE, AND A CAR BEHIND ME HAD TO SLAM ON THEIR BRAKES. NOW I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY CAR, WHICH I JUST BOUGHT IN JULY. I'M WONDERING HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAPPENED BEFORE PURCHASING THE CAR FROM THE DEALER.
