The transmission to transfer case joint may be misaligned due to an incorrectly performed previous repair, which could lead to wear of the transmission output shaft splines and transfer case input splines. Excessive wear of the transmission and transfer case splines may result in a loss of drive power or vehicle rollaway, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect the transmission to transfer case joint and replace the transmission and transfer case as necessary, free of charge. May 2026 Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions SERVICE BRAKES Some 2025-2026 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a condition where cruise control is inoperative and/or an "Adaptive Cruise Control Not Available" message is displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U0422:00 stored in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module. If a vehicle exhibits this condition, this may be due to an incorrect configuration programmed to the ABS module during an attempt to change tire size. <br /><br /> The Ford Performance ProCal 4 tool is the only approved tool that can be used for properly adjusting the tire size calibration. Vehicles originally equipped with 30-inch tires that are being upfit with 35-inch tires should be set to 615 revolutions per mile in the Ford Performance ProCal 4 tool under Diagnostics and Tools > Tire/Gear Adjust. Any other concerns related to tire size calibration that exhibit this condition, contact the Ford Performance Techline as outlined in the Ford Performance ProCal 4 tool instructions. <br /><br /> This limitation in tire size calibration is due to the software in the ABS module. 11032920

DTC U0415:00 may also be stored in the CHCM. <br /><br /> If wheel speed sensor specific DTCs are present in the anti-lock brake (ABS) module and/or warning messages other than those listed above are present, this SSM does not apply. Refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM) for normal diagnostics. <br /><br /> If a vehicle exhibits this condition, carefully inspect the rear wheel speed sensors for correct installation with the rear wheel speed sensor body seated flush against the axle housing. Repair or replace the affected rear wheel speed sensor as needed, clear the DTC, and retest.
