Jul 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I am filing this complaint because my 2026 Toyota Camry Hybrid has been under NHTSA Safety Recall 25V869 since December 16, 2025. As of July 2026, Toyota still has not provided a repair or remedy. It has been more than six months, and owners continue to drive vehicles affected by a safety recall without any available fix. I believe this delay is unreasonable and I request that NHTSA investigate why Toyota has not made a remedy available within a reasonable timeframe. I rely on this vehicle every day for work and school. It is concerning to know that my vehicle has an unresolved safety recall with no repair available after several months.

Jul 2026 STEERING,WHEELS,UNKNOWN OR OTHER Brand new 2026 Camry is swaying left and right when driving on concrete roads at 40 mph and above. It was felt like I lost steering control; the whole car felt like it’s “floating” or weaving. Steering truly is difficult to control, specially on wet conditions. this Vehicle is equipped with factory 19” wheels with wide, low profile tires with low aspect ratio and short sidewalls; Bridgestone turanza tires 235/40/r19. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer saying this is known as tramlining. Vehicle was inspected by manufacturer several times. There’s no any warning lamps or messages or other symptoms of the problem. It appears that inappropriate tires were installed on this vehicle by manufacturer, which leads to a loss of steering control.

Jul 2026 VISIBILITY/WIPER At certain times of the day ,the windshield becomes milky with feathery, spotted pattern obscuring my visibility while driving. At first, we thought it needed a proper cleaning. We now realize we have a defective windshield. It is called windshield delamination. The car was brought to Toyota of Coconut Creek. The service advisor, Wilford Charles was provided photo documentation of the windshield. If you put on the defogger or drive with windows up the spotting will disappear in about 5 minutes. The service advisor said they would NOT honor the windshield replacement unless they physically saw the incident happening. Then it would be 2 weeks until Toyota would come to inspect to say if they would honor the warranty and replace the windshield. Toyota is forcing me to have to pay for a new windshield and denying it is defective. Please advise. Thank you.

Jul 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES Un-Intended Accelerations, the accelerator pedals either stocked, jammed in the Carpet, Triggered Un-Intended Acceleration due to Safety Use cases not designed correctly Once Triggered the un-intended acceleration the brake system is not working •Make: Toyota •Model: Camry •Year: 2026 •VIN: [XXX] On Sunday, [XXX], at approximately [XXX], I operated the subject vehicle (2028 Toyota Camry, VIN: [XXX]) for an approximate distance of three to five meters along my residential driveway. My intention was to proceed forward briefly, then shift into reverse to continue my planned route. Upon releasing my foot from the accelerator pedal in preparation for this maneuver, the vehicle unexpectedly and rapidly accelerated without any input from me. The rate and intensity of acceleration was unprecedented in my experience operating motor vehicles. I immediately applied pressure to the brake pedal in an attempt to stop the vehicle; however, the braking system was unresponsive and failed to slow or halt the vehicle's forward motion. As a result of this uncontrolled acceleration, the vehicle collided with the front porch of my residence. Upon impact, all airbags deployed. The collision caused extensive damage to my property, including a fractured and displaced porch support column. I sustained multiple serious injuries during this incident, including a severe laceration to my left leg, burn injuries across both hands, body, and legs, loss of mobility in my left arm and neck, and significant pain in my lower back region. Since the incident, I have experienced persistent sleep disturbances and difficulty concentrating due to recurring mental imagery of the collision. The physical injuries and psychological impact have substantially affected my daily functioning and quality of life. Jun 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Sheehy Toyota of Laurel sold me a vehicle that was on a stop sale for a serious defect recall. The dealership sold the car to me the same day the stop sale was lifted WITHOUT addressing the recall, and lied about them fixing it before it was purchased.

Jun 2026 POWER TRAIN Camry was sitting at the dealership since the Dec 2025 recall for a loose inverter bolt. Talked to Toyota and dealership multiple times, throughout the process, and kept being told there was no remedy and that there would not be one for a long time. Got the run around from Toyota Brand Engagement repeatedly, with no assistance except to be told I could submit a Lemon Law claim, which they then said would take at least 60 days to review. Desperate to have a vehicle back without the limitations of a loaner, I tried to buy the loaner as a resolution since I was at least used to driving it after having it for multiple months. They said they would look into this, but then said it would actually be a very lengthy process to decommission it as a loaner first, so this was not helpful solution. Since there was still no remedy on the recall, the dealership found a used vehicle similar to the loaner, but when I talked to them about how it would work financially for them to buy the recalled car back, they said my recalled vehicle had depreciation value, so trading it in would mean a loss of several thousand dollars, even though it was a brand new 2026 vehicle that was only sitting on their lot for 6 months unused because of the recall. So a used vehicle a couple yrs older would cost MORE than the original price on the 2026 new vehicle because of the RECALL which STILL has no available remedy. The latest remedy info says it would be approx Sept 2026. Toyota took an excessive amount of time and then had the audicity to charge thousands more to rebuy the camry and put me in something else because they could not fix it properly. And to top it off they had the nerve to then list the camry at a thousand dollars less then the original price despite telling me that it went down in value from the recall and time Crash: No Fire: No Unknown
Jun 2026 STRUCTURE The vehicle’s front bumper under the passenger side keeps becoming loose with a large noticeable gap even after fixed by the dealership. Appears to be weak clips used by Toyota during the manufacturing process. Vehicle is new, purchased 1/2026 and this recurrent issue showed up at 1567 miles, vehicle has never been in an accident. Safety is at risk as in a matter of time I believe the bumper will fall off while the vehicle is in motion, presenting a danger to driver and other occupants, and a danger to other motorists. This issue seems to exist since previous 2025 models, Toyota appears not to care enough to provide a permanent fix.

Jun 2026 WHEELS My son was driving a 2026 Toyota Camry with approximately 2,000 miles when the wheel suddenly detached from the vehicle while traveling on the highway. The vehicle dropped onto the rotor and became difficult to control. Thankfully, he was able to safely get off the road and was not injured. No one outside of Toyota has serviced, repaired, or removed the wheel since the vehicle was purchased new. This was a serious safety incident that could have resulted in a catastrophic crash, severe injuries, or fatalities. We are requesting an investigation into the cause of this wheel separation and whether there may be a manufacturing or assembly defect.

Jun 2026 TIRES Year: 2026 Make: Toyota Model: Camry LE Hybrid VIN: [XXX] Mileage at Time of Discovery: Approximately 750 miles Date Purchased: Approximately 20 days before discovery (22nd May 2026) Tire Brand/Model: Goodyear Assurance RangeMax Tire DOT Number: 1M63P LF1R 1626 I purchased this Toyota Camry new approximately 20 days ago. The vehicle currently has approximately 750 miles on it. During car washing, I discovered visible bulges on all four tires. The tires are Goodyear Assurance RangeMax with DOT number 1M63P LF1R 1626. The bulges appear on each tire sidewall and raise concerns about a possible manufacturing defect or structural failure within the tires. The vehicle has not been involved in any accident, impact, pothole strike, or other event that would reasonably explain identical bulging on all four tires. I visited dealership and they confirmed it's manufacturing defects. Also, Goodyear service centre also confirmed it's manufacturing defects. Because tire sidewall bulges can indicate internal tire damage and increase the risk of tire failure, blowout, loss of vehicle control, crash, injury, or death, I believe this condition presents a significant safety concern. The fact that all four original-equipment tires exhibit similar bulging at very low mileage suggests the possibility of a defect affecting the tires or their manufacture. I am submitting this complaint so that NHTSA can investigate whether other consumers may be experiencing similar issues with Goodyear Assurance RangeMax tires installed on new Toyota Camry vehicles. Safety Concern: Potential tire sidewall defect resulting in bulging on all four tires at approximately 750 miles, creating a risk of tire failure, blowout, and loss of vehicle control. Jun 2026 SEATS I am reporting an issue with the driver seat in my 2026 Toyota Camry SE model. The seat exhibits abnormal movement, shifting, instability, and popping sensations in the seatback (lumper support) area during normal driving conditions, specifically while accelerating or coming to a stop. It is also more noticeable during warming climates than cooler climates. The issue feels like looseness or movement of internal seat components and creates a distraction and potential safety concern while operating the vehicle. It has become very uncomfortable to sit and drive the vehicle. It feels like if someone is kicking the seat from behind. I brought the vehicle to three different Toyota dealership for inspection. The dealership acknowledged the issue and opened a TAS (Technical Assistance System) case with Toyota Motor Corporation. An attempted repair and inspection were performed; however, the issue still persists. After researching online owner forums and discussions, I found multiple reports from other Toyota Camry owners describing similar driver seat problems, suggesting this may not be an isolated incident. The ongoing seat movement negatively affects driver confidence and comfort and may create a safety risk by distracting the driver or altering seating position while driving.
