Date Component Summary Severity Mileage
May 2026 SEATS Drivers seat has popping sensation on my back when accelerating, braking, and going over bumps. This issue appears to be coming from the lumbar assembly of the drivers seat. I've also noticed it is much more frequent when the weather is warmer (75 degrees +). I took the vehicle to the dealer and they were not able to duplicate the issue. Because they were not able to duplicate the issue I was told nothing could be done and that they would not investigate any further. Even though this seems to be a well known issue for the 2025 and 2026 Camry's as it appears many others have submitted similar complaints to the NHTSA, Reddit, etc. The service manager at the dealership even admitted Toyota was aware of this issue and supposedly installed the "fix" in my 2026 Camry at the factory. I have also reached out to Toyota Brand Engagement to voice my displeasure with the performance of the drivers seat, still waiting for a resolution from them. This poses a safety risk as is it is very distracting to the driver of the vehicle. Crash: No Fire: No Unknown
May 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES,ENGINE Saturday may 23 at night my car started showing a message that states “Braking Power Low Stop in a Safe Place See Owner's Manual” I took it to Toyota on Tuesday may 2026 they said it was fine and nothing was wrong even after I said that message kept appearing at least five times each time I was driving the vehicle since Saturday. After they checked it the problem got worse and now it appears 95% of the time I’m driving. Not just that but on may 27 at approximately 9:10 pm my check engine turned on and also system lady took turned on and secondary collision break malfunction turned on. Along side many other warning comes and go but the main ones that stay are the check engine and the braking power low one. I am worried because this all started happening whenever I accelerated even just a little bit and it could end up causing accidents. Crash: No Fire: No Unknown
May 2026 SEATS I purchased a new 2026 Toyota Camry XLE and have experienced a potentially defective driver seat lumbar support condition since delivery. The lumbar support remains excessively hard and protruding even when adjusted to the lowest setting. The condition causes significant lower back discomfort and pain during ordinary driving. The issue appears abnormal and may involve the lumbar mechanism, seat foam, or internal seat structure. The vehicle has very low mileage, and the condition has been present from the beginning of ownership. I contacted Toyota and the dealership, and the vehicle is scheduled for inspection. I am submitting this complaint because the seat condition may affect safe vehicle operation by causing driver discomfort, pain, and difficulty maintaining a normal driving position during extended use. I request investigation into whether this is a defect affecting the seat lumbar support system or seat assembly. Crash: No Fire: No Unknown

May 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER I am reporting an issue with the driver seat in my 2026 Toyota Camry. The seat exhibits abnormal movement, shifting, instability, and popping sensations in the seatback area during normal driving conditions. The issue feels like looseness or movement of internal seat components and creates a distraction and potential safety concern while operating the vehicle. I brought the vehicle to a Toyota dealership for inspection. The dealership acknowledged the issue and opened a TAS (Technical Assistance System) case with Toyota Motor Corporation. An attempted repair and inspection were performed; however, the issue still persists. After researching online owner forums and discussions, I found multiple reports from other Toyota Camry owners describing similar driver seat problems, suggesting this may not be an isolated incident. The ongoing seat movement negatively affects driver confidence and comfort and may create a safety risk by distracting the driver or altering seating position while driving.

May 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,UNKNOWN OR OTHER Toyota is putting people who purchased their new vehicles at risk. They have my car sitting here with an extraordinarily dangerous recall which they promised to fix by march but they haven't & it is already nearly June. It literally says the car can blow up. The recall says there's a belt problem & it can blow up at certain speeds & it can be fatal. That is crazy. if they cant fix it then they should recall the entire car & give us our money back so we can buy something safe. This is insane already Crash: No Fire: No Unknown

May 2026 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Clicking/ticking noise coming from the top of the B-pillar (driver’s side). consistent ticking or clicking sound that sounds like it’s coming from behind the trim near the seatbelt anchor or roofline area. It’s not just a little vibration — it’s a loud tick or click; not a vibration sound. it seems like it might be inside the B-pillar or at the headliner edge where it meets the pillar

May 2026 POWER TRAIN Vehicle makes a squeaking noise from the driver front wheel at speeds between 0 - 5 mph. Toyota released a technical service bulletin T-SB-0031-26 to fix the issue. I had my vehicle serviced under the TSB. Toyota service indicated on the invoice "Driver front wheel bearing is coming apart and leaking grease causing noise. Replaced driver front wheel bearing". After a few hundred miles of driving, the squeaking noise from the driver front wheel at speeds between 0-5 mph has returned. My case is filed at the Toyota headquarters office under my name and file 260512000440. I have images, invoice and TSB, but they will not upload in the portal

May 2026 POWER TRAIN I’m still driving a time bomb waiting for vehicle fire or accident. Was told first quarter of the year. Now, still no remedy. I purchase car brand new and weeks later received notice. Then I was told Toyota was informed not to sell and I just bought mine. All I’m told is to wait. If engine line comes on pull over and tow. That’s great while I’m driving my family.

Apr 2026 POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The manufacturer has no solution to the recall of my vehicle. I cannot drive the vehicle due to a risk of the powertrain shutting down or worse, a fire. It’s been months that I cannot use the vehicle. I think the manufacturer should buy the vehicle back.

Apr 2026 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The vehicle experienced a safety-related issue involving the hybrid system, which may cause sudden loss of power while driving. This issue is associated with a manufacturer recall (Toyota campaign 25TB15). Due to the risk of power loss, the vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive. The vehicle was taken to a dealership for repair, where the issue was confirmed. However, no repair has been completed. The vehicle has remained at the dealership for over 3 months without a confirmed repair timeline. This creates a significant safety concern, as loss of power while driving could increase the risk of a crash, especially at highway speeds. No accident, fire, or injury has occurred, as the vehicle has not been driven due to the safety risk.
