| Apr 2023 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | Just took delivery of this new vehicle. The windshield is pitted and this leads to difficulty in cleaning the windshield with the wiper fluid and wipers as a result of the increased surface area and surface roughness. | Apr 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | Brakes of 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid are grabby when attempting to slow down to below 6-10 mph , especially when the roads are wet. Even with slight wetness on the ground, the brakes behave like this, leading to unpredictable stops and jumping of vehicle in common scenarios such as drive-thrus, stop-and-go traffic, and parking lots. Local Ford dealer attempted to replicate the issue when it was sunny and dry and was unable to do so. As such, they refuse to do any further testing and are saying that "this is how the hybrids are". I will visit the dealer again when it is rainy. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2023 | SERVICE BRAKES | The brakes sporatically cause you to jerk to a stop when you are all almost completely stop (under 5MPH). This is a dangerous issue when in heavy commuter traffic as the following vehicle may not be prepared for what is a complete emergency stop while other traffic continues to flow at slow speeds.
