May 2025 POWER TRAIN While driving down the interstate the car lost power. The engine would continue to rev, but the car was not receiving power and was unable to accelerate. As this happened on the interstate where vehicles travel at high rates of speed, this was a safety concern because the car suddenly lost power. No lights lit up on the dash indicating a problem. Once the vehicle was towed to a Honda dealership, the mechanic stated that the belt in the CVT transmission had "disintegrated". He said this was not something that we could have prevented or foreseen beforehand.

May 2025 STEERING steering feels tighter turning left than right. when turning left the wheel centers back up but when turning right it dosnt center. my alignment is fine when my wheel is straight it goes straight. it also likes to center up a little to the right. no one could fix this issue. i took it to a mechanic after multiple honda visists and they said it might be the steering rack. i took it back to honda after a clicking noise started happening when i turn at slow speeds or stopped and they said it was the steering rack but there was nothing they could do untill the investogstion for it was done

May 2025 STEERING,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Woke up and started my car, all the lights were on including engine light. no adapter cruise, steering light was on. Screen also was saying avoid speeding. Every notification was telling me go to the dealer ship. I took it Howdy Honda in Texas and they said we will need to do a diagnostic and it was for 255 for to see what the problem was. They looked and said I had code for po172(rich) and misfire on p0301 told me I need to replace fuel injectors. Which cost 1933$. Which is way too much and fuel injectors a labor should be covered under Federal Emissions Warranty but they said no. So I am filing a recall for fuel injectors for my 2022 Honda accord sports se. I am unable to drive because it’s in limp mode. I also have documentation from howdy for quote.

Apr 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE While driving on the interstate, the car in front of my stepped on their brakes hard and immediately let off. I was several car lengths behind the car, but my emergency braking activated. The brake pedal went out of reach and I tried to step on the gas but the car would not accelerate. Two cars passed me on both sides, but luckily there was no one behind me or they would have hit me. The car went down to approximately 20 mph before I could again accelerate. The car in front of me was nearly 1/4-mile away at that point

Apr 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER Component: Infotainment system / touchscreen panel (Display Audio Unit) Description of Issue and Safety Concern: The infotainment touchscreen panel on my 2022 Honda Accord malfunctions intermittently and unpredictably. It rapidly and repeatedly switches between modes (e.g., FM, AM, Bluetooth, phone) in a spastic pattern, similar to Morse code. This behavior often renders the touchscreen non-responsive. Even when powered off manually, it will turn itself back on and continue cycling through modes uncontrollably. This poses a safety risk by: •Creating driver distraction due to constant flashing, sound changes, and alerts. •Interrupting navigation, Bluetooth phone calls, and backup camera use. •Making it difficult to adjust settings or audio without taking eyes off the road. •Forcing the driver to troubleshoot or disable the screen while driving. The issue has been confirmed and documented by an authorized Honda dealership, and the vehicle is still under warranty. However, the part needed for repair has been unavailable, on backorder, since 9/2024. Despite multiple attempts, the manufacturer has not resolved the issue. No warning lamps or diagnostic codes are present, but the defect remains ongoing and persistent. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. ________________________________________

Mar 2025 STEERING I purchased my 2022 Honda Accord Sport 1.5 T in December 2021. Around 20k miles, I began experiencing issues with the steering. There was a sticky sensation that required exerting force. I took into the dealership on numerous occasions only to be told "there was nothing wrong" or that "the issue could not be duplicated". It eventually began to get worse around 52k miles, so around October of 2023, I began going back to the dealership, only for the same answers of "can not be duplicated". At 60k miles, the unfindable issue become discoverable (Not sure if they were being honest or they were waiting until my warranty expired to properly diagnose the issue). The service advisor informed me that I would need a steering rack replacement. I asked would Honda assist with the repair as I had began complaining about the issue well before my warranty expired. The advisor informed me that Honda would not assist. Fast forward, a week later, I reached out to Honda myself and they gave me a green light for assistance with the repair. They agreed to cover $2200 for the part itself and I was responsible for the labor, which left me with a balance of $1400. In December of 2023, I had the repair done and the vehicle was driving a little better at first, but still a little off. Of course the service department ensured that nothing was wrong and they could not do anything unless something breaks or the computer throws a code. Fast forward to around June of 2024, I began having the same issues with the steering wheel sticking, but was out of warranty as the dealership stated that the warranty was a 2 year/12k mile warranty. This is ridiculous to pay all this money for vehicles, have it repaired and have to deal with the same issue again. Honda is well aware of this issue, but instead of doing the right and ethical thing and issuing a recall on the steering racks, they'd rather sit and act clueless and oblivious to the issue.

Mar 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE The contact owns a 2022 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH on a two-lane road, a truck going in the opposite direction passed the vehicle, and the Forward Collision Avoidance system erroneously engaged and applied the brakes and abruptly stopped the vehicle. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred once. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.

Dec 2024 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Fuel injector pump went bad o the car and it caused the dashboard to light up and the advance driver assistance systems to malfunction. Took the car to the dealer and they confirmed it was a bad fuel injector pump. I took my vehicle to the same dealer service center on 11/05/2024 and nothing suggested the fuel injector was going bad. The car runs like normal and doesn’t have any hesitation when driving. I googled the car symptoms and there are several other drivers that reported the same issue for the same model car. Honda told me there is a recall but it does not cover my vehicle.

Nov 2024 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM Ive previously reported on here Errors I was getting, when pushing the gas, MULTIPLE all engine lights going off at once. Its like when you push the gas, the engine stallls, and then all the lights light up; The turbo charger errors; Fuel Sys 1 error; Fuel Sys 2 error; etc. The Cruise Control on does the same thing - especially if there is any type of incline. I know that MANY other Honda owners are experiencing the same and saw their complaints; I see there is now a recall, but WHY is my car NOT showing on here, when clearly it should be. Im asking for a file number and an investigation. Where can I go to get this looked at? Nobody is following up with me. I believe this is fitting Recall21V-215 or 20V-314

Nov 2024 UNKNOWN OR OTHER My touchscreen randomly started glitching, randomly dialing numbers and when I tap it to go back to my gps, the screen freeze. This is a danger for me as the driver, I’m not able to drive the car with confidence because the Apple CarPlay GPS will change screens while I’m actively driving, making me unaware of the gps direction and road. Is there a recall? There are many threads online of 10th gen accord drivers going through the same thing. When I call Honda of south miami dealer, they told me that I can come in and change it under warranty, but then suggested that it’ll be a waste of my time since there will be a recall soon. Customers have gone to the dealership with the same issue repeatedly AFTER Honda replaced theirs.
