| Jun 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES | While driving the parking break activated. I was in the middle of the road with my newborn. I believe my truck should have been recalled since this is something that other F150 had. I took it to the Ford dealership and they said there was no active recall on this vehicle. So I had them check it since it’s such a high safety concern. And yes there was a default with the parking break system. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | POWER TRAIN,SERVICE BRAKES,VISIBILITY/WIPER | I contacted a local Ford dealership: Hempstead Ford, 301 N Franklin St, Hempstead, NY 11550, (516) 363-1579 to perform multiple safety recalls issued by NHTSA. The service department refused to schedule me for service because I did not buy the vehicle from their dealership. I reported this to Ford Customer Relations and was told that they cannot force the dealership to service my vehicle. I believe this is illegal. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | VISIBILITY/WIPER | Windshield wipers randomly stopped working. There is a recall for 2021 f150s, however my VIN is not included. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | VISIBILITY | The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed during a rainstorm, the driver’s side windshield wiper detached from the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V163000 (Visibility). The dealer confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and also confirmed that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 58,500. | Crash: No Fire: No | 58,500 |
| Jun 2024 | POWER TRAIN | The automatic 10 speed transmission 10R80 covered by TSB24-2176 will violently downshift or upshift causing passengers and contents of the vehicle to be thrown around the vehicle. This happens at random events, sometimes while accelerating, sometimes while decelerating, and without warning, which leads to violent decelerating and lurching on the road, which is a safety concern in heavy traffic. The transmission has been serviced 3 times by Ford of Homewood, twice under warranty and once out of warranty (60K powertrain) but there is no fix or remedy to repair this issue. I own several other identical 10 speed equipped trucks that operate fine, perhaps a bit jerky with shifting, but this truck is a safety hazard that cannot be repaired. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Truck was repair as per the recall of the emergency brake however is still applying the parking brake again and took it to have it scan but ford dealer ship says they don't find no codes or anything saying it does and I'm just scared of continuing to put myself and my family at risk when is still applying the emergency brake whenever it wants. So far has done it over 3 times in a period of a few moths after the recall was supposedly been done for that same reason. On the picture I'm posting here is the invoice of the repair of the recall. Is in Spanish part of it but all the numbers of the recall are there | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | UNKNOWN OR OTHER | 360.Camera System has failed and is having the same known issues as the other recalled Ford vehicles. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Jun 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES | While approaching a red traffic signal at speed, I went to apply brakes and the brake pedal had no resistance and failed to slow the vehicle. Immediately several alarms sounded and lights illuminated on the dash board. I was able to slow the vehicle with repeated brake attempts and swiftly moving to the right turn lane where I could navigate a turn and come to a complete stop after coasting. Dashboard indicated: Pre-collision assist not available, antilock brake fault, service AdvanceTrac, and check brake system. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Good day, I am experiencing a leak from the front differential pinion seal on my vehicle. This leak appears to be a common issue based on reports from other owners in various online forums and owner groups. The front differential transfers power from the transmission to the front wheels. A leak from the pinion seal can cause a loss of differential fluid, which could lead to premature wear and eventual failure of the front differential components. If the front differential fails while driving, it could cause a loss of control of the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash or collision. This poses a significant safety hazard to myself, my passengers, and other vehicles on the road. I am requesting that Ford Motor Company acknowledge this issue and take corrective action by issuing a recall or service bulletin to inspect and repair/replace the faulty front differential pinion seals on affected vehicles. Allowing this defect to persist is unacceptable from a quality and safety standpoint. A front differential failure caused by this leak could result in serious vehicle damage, injuries, or fatalities. Please investigate this matter thoroughly and require Ford to address this safety defect before it leads to additional vehicle failures and potential accidents. Thank you! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2024 | POWER TRAIN,SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Unknown which component is failing. It started with a rumble while accelerating or coasting but goes away when I shift into neutral so I believe that is the transmission. Other issues that are occurring randomly, speedometer will change indication to slower speed than I am actually going or it will drop to 0 while I am driving. Alerts and faults that have shown at the same time the speedometer goes out are: Powertrain fault, ABS, Forward Collision Warning, Parking Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance, Cross Traffic Warning. Also a random metallic spinning noise coming from under the truck. It has been in the dealer garage 5 times now. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| May 2024 | EXTERIOR LIGHTING | The driver side led DRL of the headlight is burnt out. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The Instrument Panel Cluster will reboot when driving leaving the panel blank with no speedometer or other vital information. The system will reboot after a short time, sometimes multiple times and has occurred when driving at speeds of 30, 35, 50, 65 mph. This reboot leaves the driver without vital information, causes confusion and is a distraction putting the safety of all occupants at risk. This has happened a multiple times and may be is similar to SSM 50294 where emojis causes the Instrument Panel Cluster to go blank or reboot during incoming or outgoing phone calls where there are emojis alongside the text of a name of contact. Unfortunately, I did not learn of this error until I had dropped the vehicle at the dealer and researched myself. I have a heart emoji next to my wife's name and would gladly remove this, but the dealer indicates a full $1000 reboot of multiple systems is the protocol in accordance with Ford manuals and diagnostic trees. I am working with a dealer, but they have been uncooperative in terms of recreating the problem and are only seeking a paid solution with the reboot the entire system an no assurance that this will work. As mentioned above, it seems that this is similar to SSM 502947 for other 2021 F-150s, but the dealership will not confirm and Ford indicates my vehicle is not effected by this error according to my VIN. System failure warnings are also sent to the Ford mobile app when this reboot happens, these warnings are for the Tire Pressure Monitor System, Restraints Indicator Lamp and Antilock Brake Fault. The Ford dealership has had my vehicle for over two weeks with this issue and has not communicated any inspection or attempt to recreate the issue. There is not a repair invoice yet. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who informed the contact that they do not service windshields. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred to the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 29,000. | Crash: Yes Fire: No | 29,000 |

| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at undisclosed speeds, the vehicle turned off and the vehicle decelerated. The vehicle independently automatically restarted; however, the failure recurred. The contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V267000 (Electrical System, Power Train) however, neither the year, make, model nor the VIN was included. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 78,000. | Crash: No Fire: No | 78,000 |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,WHEELS | Tire pressure sensor keeps coming on and says it is faulty. The driver side window will not completely roll down( we have done a reset and it will only work once or twice). With the radio it will sometimes not work(we have done a soft reset and it will work a few times and then stop). The last thing the heat shield that is underneath the truck had a recall we got it repaired and since it hangs down, we have taken to the dealership and they repaired it again and will still hand down. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact also stated that no failure codes displayed. The contact stated that the failure had been persistent since the vehicle was purchased in October 2021. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10. | Crash: No Fire: No | 10 |
| Apr 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES,FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE | Normal brakes fail. Only the emergency brake functions and locks up one of the rear tires. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | SERVICE BRAKES | My family and I were driving to a local coffee shop when my dash went off with a low brake fluid warning, I pull over to check and it was bone dry. That pretty odd so I immediately start looking for leaks and discovered the passenger side rear brake line where it connects to the rubber hose and goes to the caliper has a MAJOR leak. I videoed the leak so show how bad it was and where it was leaking from. The rubber hose itself if fine the leak is coming from the metal part of the hose but unfortunately the way to fix the issue is by replacing the hose assembly and according to ford that part is a wearable item, so my extended warranty I paid for it does not cover it. I find it absurd and extremely dangerous that a three-year-old truck has a major brake fluid leak like that and Ford has been no help at all. I’ve spent all day on the phone with them arguing and they don’t seem to care. This is a major safety issue from a clearly faulty part from the manufacturer, and I don’t feel as though I should be responsible with the bill. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | The vehicle will occasionally freeze on the infotainment splash screen. This prevents the rear view camera from activating when the vehicle is in reverse. Furthermore, the vehicle has already been serviced for a prior issue where the infotainment system (and rear view camera video) would momentarily freeze (1-4 seconds) when the camera was activated | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V896000 (Power Train) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from the rear end of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the hub nut was fractured. The dealer replaced the hub nut and the rear axle and informed the contact that the repair was temporary. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available. | Crash: No Fire: No | 40,000 |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | High-speed highway travel this morning. Switched lanes and pressed accelerator; engine cut out. Seemed to be in no gear for 6-9 seconds before lurching into power again. Incident was very dangerous and forced a rapid slowing in fast lane affecting traffic behind me. This has happened 4 times in the past 8 months. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
