May 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM When I went to turn on my car, on May 15, 2025, all my warning lights started flashing. It stated multiple system failures and my car started sputtering a bit. I attempted to drive it that way because I really needed to get to work. I was able to get to work but was driving very slow because I had my son with me. When school let out I started my car and all the system failure lights started flashing again. The car started sputtering and shaking again. When I went to leave my school’s parking lot I pressed on the gas pedal and my car barely moved. This happened on a busy street causing the cars behind me to brake quickly since I had no power to get out of their way. I thought I was going to get rear ended with my son in the backseat. I was able to get back into my school’s parking lot and shut off the car. I had to have the car towed to my nearest Honda dealer where it sat overnight since it was towed there right before closing. They diagnosed the vehicle as having a failed fuel injector spill gas into my oil tank and cause a complete mess in my engine. Spark plugs got burnt out as well. Turns out this is a recurring issue with 2019 Honda CRVs. This failure cost me a lot of money that has caused me financial difficulties. This problem needs to be addressed and all 2019 CRVs should be included in this recall. I’m so scared to drive my car but can’t afford to get another car. I should also get reimbursed for the cost of having the fuel injectors replaced. I’m terrified that I’ll get into an accident next time and that my son could possibly get hurt or die. Please help.

May 2025 STEERING The steering in my 2019 Honda CRV started sticking when turning, almost like it was clicking into notches. There were no warning messages that anything was wrong. Brought the car to the dealer who determined the power steering rack needed to be replaced at the cost of $4579. Not doing so was a safety issue as the steering could lock up. I'm the original owner of the vehicle which has less than 30,000 miles, lives in a garage, has been well maintained by Honda's service department, and isn't driven in harsh conditions, so was shocked to hear this and questioned a defect in the part. Local dealer contacted Honda Corporate on my behalf and I was offered a 80% discount for the repair out of good will as a longstanding customer. I had the work done to avoid driving an unsafe vehicle. Based on recalls with steering racks in newer models, I am questioning whether the recall should not extend to earlier models. I do not have any of the replaced parts.

May 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM The fuel injectors are failing at 55 to 62k miles. The car experiences a loss of steering wheel functioning components related to the driver assist, and multiple warning lights appear on the dash for a period of a few days, then they suddenly disappear. There are slight hesitations in the automobile's acceleration, and this puts my family at risk during operation. The fuel pumps in the 2019 were replaced under recall but they failed to include the fuel rail and injectors and the pump we believe may have more pressure than the rail as and injectors were designed to handle and this shortens the life cycle of the part. The dealership diagnosed this problem and acknowledges that these same components have failed on other models and have settled lawsuits by extending the warranty periods to fix the injectors on certain less popular and lower sales volume models, but did not include the 2019 CRV and we think it is because that is a more popular model that would result in much more outgoing expense. his is putting many families at risk including my [XXX] daughter and her new born son. The dealership sells the injector and fuel rail parts that need to be fixed as a kit now due to previous and existing recalls in other Honda models but Honda consumer affairs has declined any warranty assistance to repair the 2019 CRV. May 2025 STEERING My Steering has been very sticky on oy 2019 CRV. It makes creaking noises when I even slightly touch the wheel. They told me today I need a new rack and pinion. I only have 76,000 miles on this vehicle. There was a recall early on that had to do with steering and I feel like this is related. They're acting like it's not. I just don't think I should have to spend $5,800 on a car that I should be able to drive a very long time! 76,000 miles is nothing on a honda!

May 2025 STEERING My Honda CRV 2019 has about 70K miles on it. About a month ago, I started noticing the steering wheel becoming sticky. I would start to turn the wheel very slight and nothing would happen. Then it would catch up but i feel I have turned the wheel too much and now have to over-correct for it. This has a become a problem on highway driving as I feel I am all over my lane. I have seen the recalls for similar issues but this model is currently not under recall for this issue.

May 2025 FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM A fuel injector issue disables KEY safety features of our CR-V's when it occurs. (ex. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, TPS, Hill Start Assist, Braking, etc...) Check Engine light comes on. All warning lights are turned on randomly (Electronic brake system, TPMS, Hill Climb assist, etc) remain on for some time (a few minutes, hours, days), and then all of these warnings vanishes after some time and driving a few miles (this also varies, sometimes warning stays for multiple days. I don't know if the car is dangerous to drive or not with EVERYTHING flashing and beeping.

May 2025 UNKNOWN OR OTHER,ENGINE,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM My 2019 honda crv has been in and out of shops since April 1st. On april 1st lights popped on on my dashboard the lights were break system lights. All wheel drive system lights, and then the lane keep assist adaptive cruise ect were on and not operational. I looked up what could cause that to happen and it stated rear differential fluid could pop lights on. I took it to the dealership and stated it felt like it was running funny but the lights all went off before I got there but if they could do the rear diff fluid and run diagnostic just to be safe that'd be great. Diagnostic found nothing wrong g with my vehicle. A few days later the same lights came on and then multiple other lights came on, my boyfriend stated it could be electrical maybe spark plugs so we bought them and replaced them. Restarted the car and drove it they went off but then came back on next morning. Next solution was maybe my battery has gone bad. Bought a new battery in hopes it'd work and no luck. We pull out our code reader and it pulls a code for cam shaft position sensors so we purchase those and replace them and still no luck. I finally take it to a repair shop since there's nothing else we can do on our own to fix the issue and the repair shop has a hard time trying to diagnose the issue. They ran codes and tests trying to figure this out they checked the mechanical side of things since the dealership only checked electrical side of things and found that my car had debris in the oil. They began researching and finding the hondas in my year and make and model with the 1.5 turbo engines have a class action lawsuit due to oil dilution and after more digging they found that I did indeed suffer from this and would need an engine replacement due to the damage that has been done and that would be around 10k. Honda knowing sold me a vehicle that could have an issue like this. I bought the car used and kept up on all maintenance and now am having my car repossessed because I cant afford the repa

Apr 2025 FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE Last week, the collision avoidance braking system activated without being triggered by an actual hazard. I was traveling btw 30 and 40 mph on a straight road, overcast conditions, no pedestrian or oncoming traffic or vehicle in front of me, nor any shadows, or roadworks that could be perceived as a problem. My car flashed the BRAKE sign and immediately braked very hard, car coming to a full stop. LUCKILY no one was behind me, or I'm sure i would have been rear-ended. I was able to continue driving normally right away, but It was very alarming and unsettling to happen with no provocation. This has been reported by others. I disabled the avoidance braking system for the next few days until I could get the car into my local dealer which happened today, 4/29/25. They ran complete diagnostics, could not replicate the problem, confirming the camera and forward radar sensor were working properly. I have never had any warning lights or messages come on prior or since, and the car has otherwise performed very well. Needless to say, I have less confidence in this car now. I was advised to NOT disable the warning/braking system as without it, i could not be protected by it should it be truly needed. This makes me very uncomfortable, but i don't feel there is another choice at this time.

Apr 2025 STRUCTURE The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, there was a scraping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. After stopping to inspect the vehicle, the contact discovered that the oil shield guard plate located underneath the vehicle had become unsecured and was dragging on the road. The shield guard was removed from the vehicle. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 54,322.

Apr 2025 STEERING There is a "sticky" feeling when steering, particularly when veering or turning right. My local Honda service department identified it as a defective steering gearbox and estimates that it will cost about $5,100 to fix it. I contacted Honda and was told that my specific VIN is not part of the recall associated with steering issues; they also refused to add it or cover my repairs.
Incident: Apr 2025
Crash: No Fire: No Unknown
Apr 2025 STEERING The component in question is the steering assembly. The vehicle which currently has approximately 55,000 miles has started having what I would describe as "sticky steering". The steering wheel does not operate smoothly, instead you have to force it out of a turn or merge. The vehicle issue has been confirmed by my local dealer where we purchased the car new. There are no warning lamps associated with this issue and it has been going on for about a month or so as of today. The recommended repair by the dealer is to replace the steering rack at $4000. To me that would be a questionable repair on a vehicle with twice as many miles as mine. It is definitely a safety issue that I'm sure won't go away on its own. The car has not been involved in an accident that would cause this issue.
