Vehicle has been in dealership and "found to be normal." I was blown off. It has always shifted jerking and shifting erratic. They said "nothing could be done about it and this is the way it is.. " Now I find out there is a service bulletin that addresses the issue but Ford will NOT FIX IT because I am 3 DAYS OUT OF WARRANTY. Still in mileage at 44k. This is a safety issue and a recall should be issued due to the massive number affected drivers and Ford's absolute unwillingness to own their defect! | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Apr 2024 | ENGINE | The Cam Phasers are going bad. This is a known issue with Ford 3.5l GTDI engines. They have published Customer Satisfaction Program 21N03 in relation to this matter. My 2019 F150 is experiencing failed cam phasers, which has been confirmed by the Ford dealership. I reached out to Ford to discuss the matter, but they stated my vehicle is not covered under this program. A claim report was started by Ford on my issue CXH01965202. The same failure described in the Ford document is happening in my vehicle, so I do not understand why my vehicle is being excluded. The failure is more widespread than what Ford is claiming, and they need to expand the program to include all impacted automobiles. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | 65,000 miles towing a motorcycle trailer and the wrench light comes on. Transmission would sometimes slam shift, other times slip out of gear completely. It also shifted from 3-8, slipped out of gear and over revved 1500-2000 rpms. Ford says CDF drum and valve body needs replacement. Trans rebuild. $4,500 covered by personal extended warranty, co pay $787. Parts on backorder. No get well date. Dealer says has a backlog of transmission repairs. Internet says a known issue. On waiting list for loaner car. Possible 2-3 months without truck. Truck is at dealership. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Five weeks ago, my transmission service light came on. I drove to Phil Long Ford, by nursing the vehicle along, and left it to be repaired. I was told today that the 10 speed transmission is a common problem, and they are backed up for repairs for many of these same problems. I have had to wait for parts due the frequent occurrence of this issue, and lack of trained personnel to handle it. I was also told today that it would be two more weeks before I can get back the vehicle. If this is so common that the dealers are having issued repairing, there should be a quality recall of these vehicles, to repair or replace or compensate the owners. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |

| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | I purchased a 2019 F150 in 2023 to date the car has roughly 60,000miles on it. Recently I noticed it "slipping" when driving. I brought it to the dealer where the car was purchased to be looked at. Upon dropping the car off, a service tech said this was a common issue in this type of vehicle. Ford called a few days later, the vehicle needs a full transmission rebuild and they are not willing to help cover the cost even though they sold the vehicle with a faulty transmission and without disclosing a material fact about the vehicle. The transmission is the system that failed/is failing and it is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle got stuck in 4th gear which prevented it from properly shifting and maintaining an appropriate speed on an interstate. This put and will put myself and every vehicle around me in danger. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,LANE DEPARTURE | The first item to malfunction was the transmission gear indicator on the dash, that started about a year after I bought the truck and would intermittently work. I had multiple oil changes in the truck at various dealers and brought it up but nothing ever came up from it since it was intermittent. Then in 2023 a warning popped up that the blind spot indicators were malfunctioning. I was planning to bring it in to be looked at but did not have time to with work and family. Then at 95,000 miles the transmission failed while towing a loaded trailer and began to shift erratically, sending the engine to extremely dangerous RPM levels while trying to downshift. Every gear began to clunk into place with a severe jerking motion and then eventually could only be operated with any sort of safety at low speeds. There were initially NO warning lamps that popped up for the transmission failure either. It went out at night 2.5hours away from my home so I spent 15minutes limping it to a gas station at low very low speeds. Only moving it around a bit the next day did it show any warning and it just said to see the dealer. | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | The transmission went out after only having the truck 1 year. Hard shifting, sluggish shifting and now it’s gone from what the dealership said. It’s the Eco boost V6 with the 10 speed transmission 10R80. I see lawsuits but no recalls from Ford. Couldn’t get up a small hill. The truck is still in the shop | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Transmission has hard shifting at various speeds even if you let go of gas. HARD & Delayed shift from park to reverse sometimes park to drive! There’s multiple TSB from ford stating the reason and cause for this! This is a manufacture defect that people have to pay out of pocket for if we aren’t under manufacturing warranty! I think they knew before hand but neglected it they should be the one covering the payment for getting transmission fixed not the owner when it was a manufacturer problem | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | ELECTRICAL SYSTEM | While leaving the parking spot at Winco the truck turned itself off and displayed the following message. Auto start-stop shift to P restart engine I was able to restart the engine after putting it in park, if that had happened at an intersection it could have been very severe. I am getting the truck serviced. ASAP | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
| Apr 2024 | BACK OVER PREVENTION | The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while the brake pedal was depressed, the rearview camera was distorted. The failure recurred several times; however, the failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a defective rearview camera. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V252000 (Back Over Prevention) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The contact researched online and related the failure to the manufacturer's Customer Satisfaction Program: 21N03 Cam Phaser Replacement (Engine). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 48,381. | Crash: No Fire: No | 48,381 |
| Mar 2024 | POWER TRAIN | Truck was in Ford dealer 4 times over 9 months for fix to the transmission. Each time the chief complaint was a vehicle that would allow the transmission to stick between gears so acceleration would cease. It would also be put in reverse but the vehicle would not register that it was in reverse, hence not backing up. Vehicle not going forward or backward is a safety issue. Problem was reproduced by dealer each time. Ford Corporate was involved in trying to fix. No lights appeared on dash during any experience. Nothing done to the vehicle by Kernersville Ford or Ford Corporate worked to relieve the issues. Crossroads Ford, Kernersville NC. 336-996-3700 INVOICES [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6) | Crash: No Fire: No | Unknown |
